Die Stütz- und Spannvorrichtungen für eine Stirnschalung werden mittels vertikaler Halteteile verankert, welche in die noch fliessfähige, erst teilerhärtete Mauerkrone selbst oder in eine entsprechende Masse in Aussparungen der Mauerkrone gesteckt, vertikal ausgerichtet und nach dem hinreichenden Aushärten der Masse mit den Stütz- und Spannvorrichtungen für die Stirnschalung bestückt werden. Bei diesem Verfahren bzw. der Vorrichtung besteht der Nachteil, dass das Setzen der Vorrichtung in einem äusserst kleinen Zeitfenster nach dem Giessen der Wand zu erfolgen hat und dass die in die noch fliessfähige, d.h. weiche Betonmasse gesteckte Vorrichtung genau ausgerichtet werden muss, damit deren gegen die Stirnschalung gerichteten Distanzstücke exakt in der Flucht der äusseren Oberfläche der Wand zu liegen kommen. Das Versetzen und Ausrichten der Vorrichtung ist äusserst zeitaufwändig und kann nur von gut ausgebildetem Personal durchgeführt werden. Im Weiteren besteht der grosse Nachteil der Vorrichtung und des Verfahrens, dass einerseits die Aushärtung der Betonmasse der Wand abgewartet werden muss und danach durch die Wandschalung hindurch gezielt Nägel in die Distanzstücke eingetrieben werden müssen. Ein solches Befestigungselement 39 ist aus dem Stand der Technik bekannt und umfasst einen die Deckenrand-Abschalplatte 41 umgreifenden Arm 43, welcher die Deckenrand-Abschalplatte 41 automatisch festklemmt, so dass keine Nägel 31 eingeschlagen werden müssen. Am Befestigungselement 39 ist ein vertikal verlaufendes Aufnahmerohr 45 befestigt, in welches der Geländerpfosten 37 temporär beim Giessen der Decke 26 einsteckbar ist.
Die geometrische Ausbildung des Halterteils 4, insbesondere des oberen Endes, ist an die verschiedenen, auf dem Markt erhältlichen Befestigungelemente 39 anpassbar, d.h. sie ist systemabhängig anpassbar.
Am Verankerungselement 1 bzw. an dessen Halterteil 4 können Markierungen zur Anzeige der Oberkante der zu erstellenden Wand in Gestalt von Strichen oder Vertiefungen angebracht sein.
