Description

The invention relates to a surgical light for use in endoscopic operations with a surgical light on a ceiling, a wall or a tripod adjustable holding support arm according to the preamble of claim 1.

For endoscopic surgery, the patient is usually prepared under a conventional surgical light. Thus, for example, during the introduction of the trocars or during the other preparatory actions, the room light and the operating light usually remain switched on.

Once the endoscopic procedure begins, the room is darkened to improve readability and contrast on the monitors and endoscope optics. However, the room is not completely darkened. Rather, a certain residual lighting in the room is required to see or operate the instruments or other equipment. During the endoscopic procedure, therefore, the operating light is switched off and the room light is dimmed or to the extent that this is switched off to generate the residual light is, are possibly auxiliary lights, that is, additional radiator, which are to be provided in the operating room, turned on.

With the above-described conventional constellation, there is the disadvantage that the room light generates reflections on the monitors. Additionally mounted auxiliary lamps on the instrument table or elsewhere are already set up in such a way that they produce an indirect and thus pleasant light. But they are a hindrance because they are arranged as another device in the area of the instrument table and need an additional power supply.

From the DE 93 17 671 U1 It is already known to provide an operating light for use in medical operations with endoscopes, which are provided in addition to the main light source special extra lamps on or in the lamp housing itself. These auxiliary lamps produce light bundles pointing away from the surgical field. During operation, this embodiment variant has the disadvantage that the light bundles of this additional light integrated in the housing of the operating light have, depending on the position of the operating light, in any spatial direction. This fixed coupling of the alignment of the lighting of the operating light and the additional lights now leads to the fact that the desired effect of an indirect light is only coincidentally fulfilled when the operating light is aligned parallel or substantially parallel to the ceiling. In all other positions that the operating light occupies during operation, there is a risk of dazzling by the corresponding light beams of the additional lamps.

From the WO 99/50591 Also, a surgical light for use in medical operations is known in which in addition to the main light source also an auxiliary lamp is present. The additional lamp is here arranged directly on the bracket, at the free ends of the housing of the main light source is pivotally mounted. Again, there is a risk of dazzling the surgeon, if this bracket is pivoted accordingly when adjusting the main light source.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a surgical light that allows illumination during an endoscopic procedure, which is arranged to save space, easy to handle and is designed without interference for the surgeon.

According to the invention this object is achieved by the combination of the features of claim 1. In this case, the at least one lamp is arranged at the end of the first arm of the Tragarmsystems and / or it is arranged on the spring arm of the Tragarmsystems. By integrating this additional light or auxiliary light at this appropriate location in the Tragarmsystem the surgical light is advantageously ensured that the auxiliary lighting of the ceiling or the wall is facing, so that here the generation of an indirect light is ensured. The additional lamp is automatically arranged in a comparatively high room height, so that no direct glare of the operating staff is possible. It should be noted that in a darkened room, even weak direct light sources would have a strong dazzling effect on the open pupil of the view. In addition, no additional cables hinder the operating room or even the operating area. Finally, no additional investment costs for separate surgical auxiliary lights to be installed are necessary.

Particular embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the subsequent claims to the main claim.

Accordingly, the at least one additional light arranged in the support arm system can face the ceiling and / or a wall.

As a result, an indirect illumination is generated, which provides an ideal Endoskopielicht.

The at least one additional light can be supplied by the central power supply of the operating light. This means that the at least one additional light will be on via the main switch of the operating light when switching on the power supply. This eliminates a costly additional power supply with its own wiring of the auxiliary light. Even the otherwise common switching devices or circuit logic can be omitted. During operation, the additional light illuminates whenever the main power supply of the operating light is switched on. When endoscopy is then the operating lamp body is turned off, that is switched to standby while the auxiliary light remains lit.

The at least one additional luminaire may comprise a discharge lamp, halogen lamp, incandescent lamp, neon lamp, neon lamp and / or one or more light-emitting diodes - (LED) - or another light-emitting element as the lighting means.

Advantageously, an additional light can be arranged below the central warehouse of Tragarmsystems. Alternatively or additionally, the additional light can be arranged on the first arm of the Tragarmsystems. Furthermore, an additional light can also be integrated in the gimbal of the surgical light.

Further features, details and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the description of a preferred embodiment of the invention, which is illustrated with reference to the single figure. The figure shows a schematic view of a surgical light with Tragarmsystem.

An operating light 10 is fixed via a support arm system 12 to a ceiling 14 of an operating room via a ceiling mount 16.

The surgical lamp 10 is of conventional design. The support arm 12 has in the embodiment shown here an outgoing from the ceiling mount 16 perpendicular to the ceiling 14 oriented rod 18 on which a central bearing 20, a first arm 22, which is aligned substantially parallel to the ceiling 14, is pivotable through 360 °. At the end of the boom 20 in turn is pivotable about 360 ° pivotally oriented perpendicular to the first boom 22 rod 24. At the free end of the rod 24, a pivot bearing 26 is arranged for pivoting a spring arm 28. At the free end of the spring arm 28, a further pivot bearing 30 is provided, which is additionally connected to the Aufhängearm 32 for the operating light. The suspension arm 32 is connected via a gimbal 34 with the operating light.

In the embodiment shown here, various additional lights 36, 38, 40, 42 and 44 are provided at different locations of the Tragarmsystems.

Of course, not all additional lights must be realized within the scope of the invention. In the context of the invention, only one or a combination of the additional lights shown here can be realized. A first additional lamp 36 is provided below the central warehouse 20. A second additional luminaire is arranged on the first arm 22, while an additional luminaire 40 is integrated at the end of the arm 22.

An additional lamp 42 is on the spring arm 28 and an additional light 44 is disposed in the region of the gimbal of the operating light 10. It is common to all the additional lamps 36, 38, 40, 42 and 44 that their light bundles a are aligned in the direction of the ceiling 14 and thus produce an indirect light at ideal room height.
