Description

The present invention relates to a lighting system with two lights, each having a light source in a horizontal burning position and a box reflector surrounding the lamp.

Goods presentation areas such as refrigerated counters, fruit pots, shelves, etc. are usually artificially illuminated. The aim is to illuminate the elongated, rectangular surfaces of the sales furniture as evenly as possible. For this purpose, lights are often used, as they are from the EP 1 225 300 B1 are known. These luminaires have a high-pressure discharge lamp as the light source and a box reflector, which generates a batwing light distribution transversely to the lamp's longitudinal axis. Through the use of high-pressure discharge lamps, the concentrated generation of high luminous flux is possible and thus a high power conversion in the smallest space. Are these high luminous flux in the longitudinal direction of the surface to be illuminated through the optical system of the box reflector, the Batwing light distribution in the longitudinal direction the area to be illuminated generated distributed, so small luminaire geometries relatively large distances of 2 m and more can be achieved.

The DE 20 2004 017 616 U discloses a lighting device for merchandise displays, which is fixed to the ceiling and has a Batwing light distribution.

The known lights have proven themselves in practice quite well. A disadvantage, however, considered that different light distributions are required depending on the ceiling height, the lighting task and the spatial conditions. For this reason, it has hitherto been necessary to provide an individual luminaire adapted to the respective conditions.

The object of the invention is to provide a lighting system of the type mentioned, which can be used universally for different ceiling heights, lighting tasks and spatial conditions.

This object is inventively achieved in that the box reflectors of the two lights are each designed to produce a half-Batwing light distribution, the two lights are positioned side by side parallel so that they produce a Batwing light distribution together, and that the two Lights are mutually adjustable.

The invention is therefore based on the consideration, a batwing light distribution through the interaction of two lights, each having a half-batwing light distribution generate, produce. These two lights are adjustable against each other, which makes it possible to influence the light distribution generated.

According to one embodiment of the invention, for example, it is provided that the two lights can be pivoted about parallel pivot axes in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axes of the light source pivot plane. By simultaneously pivoting the lights towards or away from each other, the main beam angle of the generated symmetrical batwing light distribution can be adjusted. By non-uniform pivoting of the two reflector systems, an asymmetrical Batwing light distribution can be generated.

According to one embodiment of the invention it is provided that the lamps are pivotable about pivot axes which extend through the reflectors. By this configuration, the possibility is created to adjust the inclination of the two lights and thus the box reflectors to each other, whereby a concentrated, deep or half-wide light intensity distribution can be generated.

Alternatively or additionally, the lights can be pivotally mounted via pivot levers to a holder provided spaced apart from the box reflectors, so that the lights can be moved towards and away from each other. Particularly preferred are the pivot lever pivotally held on the holder and on the lights about parallel pivot axes, so that the lights can be pivoted on the one hand on the pivot axis extending through the holder and on the other hand tilted about the pivot axes passing through the reflectors. In this way, a high flexibility of the settings is given so that the lights are optimally set to the particular desired tasks and available spatial conditions.

According to a further advantageous embodiment, it is provided that the lights are arranged on a common holder. This holder can be rotated in a plane perpendicular to the pivot axis of the lights to a particular central axis extending through the axis of rotation. This twisting possibility opens the possibility to turn the entire lighting system, so that it can be used for example when illuminating a wall when mounted on a ceiling. If the holder is rotated by 180 ° and the lights are then swiveled back over the pivot lever with respect to the holder by 180 °, the two lights produce a depth of light beam distribution, the exact course can be influenced by the provided adjustment options.

In known manner, the bulbs as a high-pressure discharge lamp, in particular as a metal halide vapor lamp or as a sodium vapor lamp with improved Color reproduction be formed. With such lamps, high luminous flux can be generated.

In the FIGS. 1 and 2 is a lighting system 1 according to the invention, which can be mounted, for example, on a ceiling, shown schematically. The lighting system 1 comprises two lights 2, each a box reflector 3 and have a lying in the burning position positioned light source in the form of a high-pressure discharge lamp. The lights 2 are positioned so that the longitudinal axes of the high-pressure discharge lamps are parallel to each other and perpendicular to the page plane FIG. 1 run. Like in the FIG. 1 can be seen, the box reflectors 3 are formed so that they each produce a half-Batwing light distribution, which result in the superimposed state Batwing Lichtverteilungskurver.

The lights 2 are mounted on a common support 4, which is spaced and provided above the box reflectors 3. The box reflectors 3 are connected to the holder 4 via pivoting lever 5, which are hinged to the box reflectors 3 on the one hand and the holder 4 on the other hand parallel to the longitudinal axes of the high-pressure discharge lamps extending pivot axes S3, S4, so that the pivot lever 5 and the box reflectors 3 about the pivot axes S3, S4 in the image plane of FIG. 1 can be pivoted.

Like in the FIG. 2 can be clearly seen, the articulated connections are formed by pivot pin 6, on which from the outside in each case a thumbscrew 7 is screwed, which can be solved for pivoting the arrangement and tightened again after taking the desired pivot position to the pivot lever 5 with the bracket 4 or the box reflector 3 to brace and fix the arrangement so.

The lighting system 1 further comprises an electrical supply unit 8, which is directly attachable to a wall, ceiling or the like and is connected via a connecting strut 9 with the holder 4. How the particular FIG. 1 can be seen well, the holder 4 on the connecting strut 9 to a horizontal, in the image plane of FIG. 1 lying pivot axis D mounted pivotally, so that the holder 4 in a vertical plane which is perpendicular to the pivot plane of the lights 2, about the rotation axis D can be rotated. The electrical supply unit 8 is connected to the bracket 4, in which the ballasts for the high-pressure discharge lamps are housed, connected via an electrical supply cable 10, and the electrical ballasts are connected to the box reflectors 3 via connecting cable 11.

The FIG. 1 shows the lighting system 1 according to the invention in its initial position in which it generates a Batwing light distribution over its two lights 2. This standard light distribution can be changed by the box reflectors 3 by pivoting the pivot lever 5 relative to the bracket 4 about the pivot axes S4 symmetrically apart or pivoted toward each other and / or the box reflectors 3 and their pivot axes S3 are tilted relative to the pivot levers 5.

As a result, a symmetrical batwing light distribution with a desired main radiation angle can be generated. By non-uniform pivoting of the two box reflectors 3, it is possible to produce an asymmetrical Batwing light distribution.

The FIG. 3 shows the lighting system 1, after the holder 4 from the in FIG. 1 shown rotated position 180 ° about the axis of rotation D and the pivot lever 5 relative to the holder 4 have been swung back by 180 ° about the pivot axes S4 down. In this case, the two lights 2 generate the light distribution curve of a depth radiator whose course can be adjusted. The FIG. 4 shows, for example, a setting in which the pivot lever 5 from the in FIG. 3 shown position evenly slightly pivoted outwards and in addition the box reflectors 3 are tilted relative to the pivot levers 5 to the outside.

The FIG. 5 shows a further embodiment in which the pivot lever 5 occupy the vertical position unchanged, but the box reflectors 3 are tilted with respect to the pivot levers 5 far outward. In this orientation, it is possible to illuminate two opposite walls simultaneously with the lighting system 1 according to the invention.
