- A sweeper according to Claim 1, characterised in that a handle (54) is arranged on the end region (50) of the pivot arm (46) projecting out of the housing (16), which handle is held on the pivot arm (46) so as to be movable back and forth between a locked-in position, in which the pivot arm (46) is locked in place, and a release position, in which the pivot arm (46) is able to pivot.

- A sweeper according to Claim 2 or 3, characterised in that the handle (54) is resiliently prestressed into its locked-in position.
- A sweeper according to Claim 2, 3 or 4, characterised in that detent elements (64) are arranged on the housing (16), which detent elements cooperate with corresponding detent elements (66) of the handle (54).
- A sweeper according to Claim 5, characterised in that the detent elements (64) with which the handle (54) may be brought into engagement are arranged on the outside of the housing (16).
- A sweeper according to Claim 6, characterised in that the handle (54) has a sleeve (56) surrounding the end region (50) of the pivot arm (46) projecting out of the housing (16), which sleeve is resiliently prestressed by means of a spring element (62) in the direction of the detent elements (64) of the housing (16).
- A sweeper according to Claim 7, characterised in that the pivot arm (46) carries a stop element (52) on its end projecting out of the housing (16) and the spring element (62) is clamped between the stop element (52) and the sleeve (56).
- A sweeper according to Claim 7 or 8, characterised in that the spring element is designed as a helical spring (62) surrounding the pivot arm (46).
- A sweeper according to Claim 9, characterised in that the sleeve (56) surrounds the helical spring (62) in the circumferential direction.
- A sweeper according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the housing (16) in a region covering the sweeping roller (18) is shaped so as to be circular arc-shaped with respect to the pivot axis (36).
