Definitions
- the invention relates to a calender with a roll stack, the two end rollers, of which at least one is designed as a hard roller, and in between at least has three intermediate rolls, the hard End roll adjacent a soft intermediate roll arranged is and at least one end roller on a toothing with a predetermined number of teeth with a drive device connected is.
- Such a calender is for example off DE 295 04 034 U1.
- Calender of this kind also called Supercalender be, form a plurality of nips or work columns, with each nip through a hard roller, for example, steel or gray cast iron, and a soft Roller with an elastic or flexible surface is formed.
- the soft rolls usually have a covering made of a plastic.
- the intermediate rolls are usually stored in levers.
- the roll stack can stand vertically or at an angle of for example, be inclined at 45 ° to the vertical.
- the invention is based on the object, a barring formation to diminish.
- the roll stack has an odd number from rolling up.
- an odd number of Rolling can be the vibration phenomena in the roll stack, the one also responsible for the Barring makes, keep smaller.
- the changeover tip with the aid of the end roll adjacent soft intermediate roll formed is.
- This soft intermediate roll will then be on both Sites with very different contact conditions loaded, so that contact vibrations that occur between the soft intermediate roll and the adjacent Form end roll could be effectively damped.
- the upper end roller is driven.
- At least the driven End roll as a deflection set roll with support sources, supported by a roll shell on a support is formed, with the support sources damped are. This also causes the contact vibrations between the end roller and the adjacent one soft intermediate roll is strongly damped, as the damping properties of the deflection roll favorably affect the contact.
- the deflection adjustment is formed with Mantelhub. This allows one particularly effective damping of contact vibrations.
- the three rollers at the end of Roller stack on which the driven end roller arranged is, different diameters and different Have masses.
- This will be the end roller adjacent soft intermediate roller between two Rollers with widely different vibration and Damping behavior arranged. This has a favorable effect on the contact vibrations between the rollers, so that a Barring formation delayed relatively long or even completely avoided.
- a soft intermediate roll is opposite a rolling plane, the axes of the two end rollers connects to each other, with an offset vertically arranged to the rolling level. This is another Possibility to reduce barring formation.
- the offset 1/4 Wavelength of the contact frequency of this intermediate roller is. In the choice of such an offset the damping is particularly pronounced.
- the soft intermediate roll that the driven end roll is adjacent a diameter outside of each area, between z ⁇ D / n + A / 2 and z ⁇ D / n - A / 2 lies, where n is any natural number, z is the number of teeth, D is the diameter the driven end roll and A a twist off reserve is. So you save "forbidden" diameter and provides the adjacent end of the driven end roll soft intermediate roll with precisely defined diameters, which also taking account of a killing reserve always outside of an area that passes through the meshing frequency at the drive is susceptible to vibration is.
- a paper web by at least runs a nip whose ash or filler content at least 20%. It is assumed that to the emergence of barring always a certain abrasive Behavior of the paper web is necessary. Of the Filler content or the ash content of the paper web are the hardest materials in the paper web. These are mainly due to abrasion of the elastic Coverings involved. You can, as you at the Barring education involved small vibrations, quite a relatively strong abrasive behavior allow without significantly worsening the barring formation.
- a calender 1 has a stoma 2 in which a Roll stack 3 is arranged.
- the roll stack 3 has an upper end roll 4 and a lower end roll 5.
- the upper end roller 4 is formed as a hard roller, i.e. It has a surface made of chilled cast iron, steel or KSTV without a plastic coating on.
- the lower end roller 5, on the other hand, is designed as a soft roller, i. it has an elastic covering 6, the softer is the surface of the hard top end roll 4.
- nips 14-19 are formed, through which a paper web 20 is guided.
- the nips 14-16, 18, 19 are designed as "soft" nips, the each of a hard roller 4, 8, 11 and a soft Roller 7, 9, 10, 5 are limited.
- the nip is 17 designed as a Konip, by two soft rolls 9, 10 is limited.
- the paper web 20 here has a filler or Ash content of at least 20%.
- Other elements of the calender such as levers, where the intermediate rolls 7-11 are stored, guide means, spreader rolls, Scraper blades and the like are out here For reasons of clarity not shown.
- the upper end roll 4 is only schematically over one shown engine 22 and a transmission 23 driven.
- the transmission 23 acts via a propeller shaft 24 (also shown only schematically) on the upper End roller 4.
- the upper end roller 4 does not have one shown toothing with, for example, 37, 42 or 44 teeth.
- the upper end roll 4 is a deflection roll formed with Mantelhub. deflection rolls are known per se. They point a continuous and non-rotatably supported carrier on which a roll shell by means of support sources is supported.
- the support can be hydrostatic or hydrodynamically.
- the sources of support cause some damping, i. they dampen Vibrations, if such registered in the roll shell become.
- the lower end roll 5 is also a deflection roll educated. But she is from one Force transmitter 25 loaded so that they do not use as a roller Mantelhub is formed.
- the three upper rollers that is, the upper end roll 4 adjacent to the upper end roll soft intermediate roll 7 and the following roll Have 8 different diameters. you also have different masses or moments of inertia. Thereby is achieved on the one hand that the upper intermediate roller. 7 between two rollers 4, 8 with greatly different Vibration and damping behavior is embedded.
- the upper (barring critical) soft intermediate roll 7 with the jacket of the bending compensating roll 4th causes the contact vibration strongly attenuated becomes.
- the damping properties of the deflection adjustment roller 4 also have a favorable effect on the Vibration behavior of the end roller 4 adjacent soft intermediate roll 7.
- Fig. 2 shows a modified embodiment, in which the change tip by the upper soft roller 7 and a further soft roller 9 is limited.
- the heated hard roller 8 shifted by one position down.
- This embodiment has in certain situations proved to be particularly advantageous because of the upper soft intermediate roll 7 greatly different Characteristics of contact conditions upwards and downwards below. This makes vibrations effective attenuated.
