Definitions
- the present invention relates to a hearing aid with a Hearing aid housing and a microphone that in the hearing aid housing is housed.
- Hearing aids should be as invisible as possible for cosmetic reasons but the microphones have to be used to record sound be housed in an exposed location.
- Another one Criterion for the placement and placement of microphones in a hearing aid is the structure-borne noise problem. Since the in the hearing aid housed listeners in addition to the airborne sound also still produced a considerable amount of structure-borne sound the microphones are vibration isolated to avoid feedback be stored. A suitable vibration isolation takes extra space. This results high demands on the space requirement and location of the accommodation of microphones in the hearing aid. The situation is aggravated nor by the fact that in modern hearing systems for noise suppression several microphones to directional microphone systems be combined. For directional microphone systems, the location the sound entry holes can not be chosen arbitrarily.
- the operating elements of the hearing aid such as buttons VC-controller, programming socket, etc., on the hearing aid housing ergonomic or practical to arrange.
- the object of the present invention is the versatile requirements for the placement of microphones to take into account in a hearing aid and a related to propose optimized hearing aid.
- this object is achieved by a hearing aid with a hearing aid housing and a microphone that in the Hearing aid housing is housed and a microphone housing having the microphone housing with the hearing aid housing is formed in one piece.
- Another advantage of the one-piece design of the microphone housing with the hearing aid housing is that on Strands can be dispensed with, which are the electrical contacts from the hearing aid housing to the microphone housing. Much more can the electrical connections, for example, through MID technology, applied directly to the case. there there is the possibility of a on-board Microphone chip by means of contact springs to contact the housing.
- the microphone is a silicon microphone. This has the advantage that it is significantly less sensitive to structure-borne noise is as conventional microphones, such as electret microphones, and thus without costly damping suspension in the hearing aid housing can be accommodated.
- a cover for acoustic separation the microphone front volume of the remaining interior be attached to the hearing aid housing. This will be a Feedback of the listener to the microphone largely avoided.
- the hearing aid according to the invention can moreover several Microphones on a common board in the hearing aid housing be arranged.
- the manufacture and installation of a single microphone arrays basically has advantages over Individual microphones.
- the microphone or microphones are arranged on the hearing aid board on which the essential Applied components for signal processing of the hearing aid are. This allows the entire electronics of the hearing aid to be accommodated on a single board, resulting too Logistics and installation advantages leads.
- the microphone (s) can also be connected to one of these Parts and most other electronic components of the hearing aid be fixed to another of these parts. This has the advantage that the microphones replaced faster when servicing can be.
- a behind-the-ear hearing aid is according to the example of FIG 1 equipped with two silicon microphones.
- the hearing aid has a hearing aid housing, which consists of an upper housing shell half 1 and a lower housing shell half 2 consists.
- Toward the acoustic output are the two Housing shell halves 1 and 2 tapers and open into one Carrying hook 3.
- the tapered section of the hearing aid housing 1, 2 is too narrow for conventional electret microphones, so that they must be placed in one place in the hearing aid, which is further removed from the carrying hook 3.
- Opposite can a silicon microphone 5 without a separate microphone housing also housed in the tapered section 4 of the hearing aid housing become.
- the silicon microphone is in its installed state in FIG 2 shown enlarged. It basically consists of one Silicon microphone chip 6 and a signal processing chip 7, both soldered to a board 8.
- the board 8 is in a suitable cavity of the upper hearing aid housing shell half 1 placed. This is the hearing aid housing to the microphone housing.
- the sound to be recorded passes through a sound inlet opening 9 in the hearing aid housing in a front volume 10, the is acoustically in front of the silicon microphone chip 6. From there will he passed through a hole 11 to the silicon microphone chip 6.
- a lid 12 is provided for the acoustic separation of the microphone front volume 10 of the Inside the hearing aid housing 1,2.
- the acoustic seal of the front volume 10 against the Back volume 13, the acoustically behind the silicon microphone chip 6 is carried out by rubber seals 14th
- MID technology Molded Interconnected Device
- Silicon microphones 5 can further, not shown in the figures Damping elements used in the hearing aid housing become. This allows the transmission of structure-borne noise from the hearing aid housing to the silicon microphone board 8 be restricted.
