Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a cover for a tower or the vehicle pan
a combat vehicle arranged ammunition space, the lid of the
Features from the preamble of
Such a lid is known and described for example in
The known lid is part of an ammunition bunker on a main battle tank tower, whose outer walls are divided by predetermined breaking lines and as independent closed housing is formed, which in one in their shape adapted to the housing recess in the contour of the main battle tank tower is inserted and the ceiling plate of a variety of longitudinal and transverse direction arranged side by side in a fixed grid-like frame Plate elements is constructed, which can be blown outwards in the frame are held. This ensures that in case of an explosion of ammunition stored ammunition quickly degraded the resulting pressure will allow for a survival of the crew.
It is also known in an ammunition room, which at its top with a closed in the roof panel of the vehicle ammunition space cover closed is the screws with which the ammunition space cover on the vehicle was fixed to reduce in its cross section, so in case of a Explosion inside the ammunition room the screws are demolished and the lid can lift off.
There was now a need for reasons of space utilization on the
Ammunition space cover to arrange a secondary weapon. This resulted in the
Problem that the secondary weapon reaches a weight, on the one hand the
Explosionsbedingte lifting the entire ammunition space cover no longer
is ensured and on the other hand in a trained according to
The invention is based on the object, a lid for an ammunition room
the type mentioned at the beginning and in the preamble of
The solution of this task is carried out according to the invention with the features
the characterizing part of
The basic idea of the invention is the opening of the ammunition room in the event of an explosion neither by tearing off the entire ammunition space cover from its fastening devices still by the embodiment the entire ammunition space cover as a grid-like frame in which externally inflatable plate elements are arranged to achieve, but in that a part of the basic body is designed as a solid plate element is firmly connected to the outer frame and on which the secondary weapon is disposed while the remainder of the ammunition space cover in a conventional manner, several through openings each having a bursting plate closed to the outside can be thrown off.
It has been shown that the ammunition space cover according to the invention on the one hand has sufficient stability to accommodate the secondary weapon and on the other hand is opened at a sufficiently low internal pressure.
As explained in more detail below with reference to an embodiment, need the bursting plates inserted in the openings of the ammunition compartment lid not to be mechanically processed, so that their manufacture another Material can be used as for the lid itself. This is it possible to achieve improved ballistic protection. The ammunition space cover is used during operation of the gun carriage both horizontal as also exposed to vertical high-frequency shock loads. The inventive Ammunition space lid continues to open the possibility of the lid and to design its attachment above the ammunition space in a manner and store that he has a particularly good stiffness in the horizontal and this results in the advantage that when retrofitting of vehicles that are subsequently equipped with a lid according to the invention should be, the structure of the tower roof does not need to be changed.
Such embodiments are described in
In the following an embodiment will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings for a combat vehicle with the ammunition space cover according to the invention explained in more detail.

FIGS. 1 to 3 show the ammunition space cover of the ammunition space in FIG Tower of an otherwise not shown main battle tank. As shown in FIG. 14, the tower T has a roof panel P in which an entry / exit hatch L is arranged. Behind the hatch there is an ammunition room with a in the roof panel P integrated ammunition space cover MD is covered. On the ammunition space cover MD is a secondary weapon W arranged.
der Sekundärwaffe W.As initially apparent from Fig. 3, the ammunition space cover has a
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the through holes 5.1, 5.2 and
5.3 each closed with a bursting plate 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3. The opening 5.4
is closed with a
Since the used bursting plates 7.1 to 7.3 are not mechanically processed may need to use another material for their manufacture found as in the manufacture of the main body, resulting in an improved ballistic protection is achieved. For example, the bursting plates can made of armor steel or a composite material.
Schraubspindel 13 bzw. 13' in das Druckstück 12 bzw. 12' an, während die
Pfeile P1 und P2 bzw. P1' und P2' die Kraftrichtungen angeben, in denen sich
die Druckstücke 12 bzw. 12' in der den Munitionsraumdeckel umgebenden
Aufnahmestruktur 15 abstützen und ihn somit horizontal fixieren. The ammunition space cover is fastened to the vehicle via
