Description
- on fournit au moins une bande souple réalisée en un matériau polymère ;
- on enroule la ou chaque bande autour de la ou de chaque région de l'essieu devant être protégée ; et
- on fixe la ou chaque bande, ainsi enroulée, par rapport à l'essieu.
- on forme la ou chaque bande à partir d'une plaque de plus grandes dimensions ;
- le matériau polymère est un polyuréthane ;
- le matériau polymère présente une dureté comprise entre 80 et 110 Shore A, de préférence entre 90 et 100 Shore A, notamment voisine de 95 Shore A ;
- la ou chaque bande présente une épaisseur
comprise entre 5 et 15 mm, de préférence entre 8 et 10 mm ;
- on réalise des biseaux sur des extrémités de la ou chaque bande, de manière à délimiter deux faces biseautées destinées à venir en contact mutuel ;

- la ou chaque bande est pourvue, à ses extrémités longitudinales, de deux faces biseautées qui sont en contact mutuel ;
- la ou chaque bande est pourvue de moyens d'amorce de pliage, en particulier de plusieurs rainures ou de plusieurs gorges ;
- les moyens de fixation de la ou chaque bande par rapport à l'essieu, comprennent au moins un organe de maintien mécanique.
- la figure 1 est une vue de face, illustrant un essieu de véhicule ferroviaire, ainsi qu'une première variante de réalisation d'une bande destinée à sa protection ;
- la figure 2 est une vue en coupe, selon la ligne II-II à la figure 1, illustrant à plus grande échelle une rainure ménagée sur la bande de la figure 1 ;

Claims (17)
- Procédé de protection d'un essieu (2 ; 2' ; 102) de véhicule ferroviaire, notamment à l'égard de projections du ballast, comprenant les étapes suivantes :on fournit au moins une bande souple (10 ; 10' ; 110A, 110B, 110C) réalisée en un matériau polymère ;on enroule la ou chaque bande (10 ; 10' ; 110A, 110B, 110C) autour de la ou de chaque région (2 ; 2' ; 102A, 102B, 102C) de l'essieu devant être protégée ; eton fixe la ou chaque bande, ainsi enroulée, par rapport à l'essieu.
- Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'on forme la ou chaque bande (10 ; 10' ; 110A, 110B, 110C) à partir d'une plaque de plus grandes dimensions.
- Procédé selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que le matériau polymère est un polyuréthane.
- Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le matériau polymère présente une dureté comprise entre 80 et 110 Shore A, de préférence entre 90 et 100 Shore A, notamment voisine de 95 Shore A.
- Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la ou chaque bande (10 ; 10' ; 110A, 110B, 110C) présente une épaisseur (e) comprise entre 5 et 15 mm, de préférence entre 8 et 10 mm.
- Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'on réalise des biseaux sur des extrémités de la ou chaque bande (10 ; 10' ; 110A, 110B, 110C), de manière à délimiter deux faces biseautées (101, 102 ; 10'1, 10'2) destinées à venir en contact mutuel.
- Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'on réalise des moyens d'amorce de pliage dans la ou chaque bande (10 ; 10' ; 110A, 110B, 110C), en particulier plusieurs rainures (12) ou plusieurs gorges (12').
- Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'on fixe la ou chaque bande (10 ; 10' ; 110A, 110B, 110C), par rapport à l'essieu, au moyen d'au moins un organe de maintien mécanique (14 ; 14').
- Essieu (2 ; 2' ; 102) de véhicule ferroviaire, destiné à relier au moins deux roues (4 ; 104) dudit véhicule, caractérisé en ce qu'il est pourvu d'au moins une bande souple (10 ; 10' ; 110A, 110B, 110C) de protection, réalisée en un matériau polymère, la ou chaque bande étant enroulée autour d'une région (2 ; 2' ; 102A, 102B, 102C) correspondante de l'essieu devant être protégée, notamment à l'égard de projections du ballast, et en ce qu'il est en outre prévu des moyens (14) permettant la fixation de la ou de chaque bande (10 ; 10' ; 110A, 110B, 110C) par rapport à l'essieu (2 ; 2' ; 102).
- Essieu selon la revendication 9, caractérisé en ce qu'il est pourvu d'au moins un organe auxiliaire, en particulier d'au moins un disque de freinage (105), délimitant plusieurs régions (102A, 102B, 102C) à protéger, s'étendant entre le ou chaque organe auxiliaire et/ou les roues, alors qu'il est prévu plusieurs bandes de protection (110A, 110B, 110C), dont chacune s'étend autour d'une région correspondante.
- Essieu selon la revendication 9 ou 10, caractérisé en ce que le matériau polymère est un polyuréthane.
- Essieu selon l'une quelconque des revendications 9 à 11, caractérisé en ce que le matériau polymère présente une dureté comprise entre 80 et 110 Shore A, de préférence entre 90 et 100 Shore A, notamment voisine de 95 Shore A.
- Essieu selon l'une quelconque des revendications 9 à 12, caractérisé en ce que la ou chaque bande (10 ; 10' ; 110A, 110B, 110C) présente une épaisseur (e) comprise entre 5 et 15 mm, de préférence entre 8 et 10 mm.
- Essieu selon l'une quelconque des revendications 9 à 13, caractérisé en ce que la ou chaque bande (10 ; 10' ; 110A, 110B, 110C) est pourvue, à ses extrémités longitudinales, de deux faces biseautées (101, 102 ; 10'1, 10'2) qui sont en contact mutuel.
- Essieu selon l'une quelconque des revendications 9 à 14, caractérisé en ce que la ou chaque bande (10 ; 10' ; 110A, 110B, 110C) est pourvue de moyens d'amorce de pliage, en particulier de plusieurs rainures (12) ou de plusieurs gorges (12').
- Essieu selon l'une quelconque des revendications 9 à 15, caractérisé en ce que les moyens de fixation de la ou chaque bande (10 ; 10' ; 110A, 110B, 110C) par rapport à l'essieu (2 ; 2' ; 102) comprennent au moins un organe de maintien mécanique (14).
- Bogie de véhicule ferroviaire comprenant plusieurs essieux (2 ; 2' ; 102), dont chacun relie au moins deux roues (4 ; 104) dudit véhicule ferroviaire, caractérisé en ce que chaque essieu est conforme à l'une quelconque des revendications 9 à 16.
