Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a sealing tape for sealing connecting joints between a window frame and a window reveal of a building. A sealing tape of this type is known for example from DE 296 105 456 U1.
In order to seal the connection joints between the window frame of a building and the soffit of the associated window section against the ingress of moisture, it is known from DE 296 05 456 U1, during assembly of the window frame, a self-adhesive sealing tape between the inner surface of the soffit and the back of the window frame to install. During the subsequent plastering of the inner surface of the reveal, the sealing tape is covered by plaster or gypsum mortar. The known sealing tape consists of a sticky Butylkautschukstreifen, on its underside with a removable protective layer and is covered on its upper side with a layer of textile fleece. On the layer on the textile nonwoven there is a narrow adhesive layer at the edge zone, which is protected by a release liner. During assembly, after removing the protective layer and the release liner, the narrow adhesive layer is secured to the back of the window frame while the exposed bottom of the butyl rubber strip is adhered to the interior surface of the window reveal. The free area of the textile fleece forms an adhesive layer for the plaster or gypsum mortar.
However, a disadvantage of the known sealing strip is that it can not follow thermally induced movements between the window frame and the window reveal, since the layer of textile nonwoven is inelastic. This lack of elasticity can lead to cracks forming in the plaster layer applied to the nonwoven fabric. To counter this disadvantage, it is known in development of the sealing strip described (product information "window flex film inside" the company Illbruck construction products GmbH & Co. KG, Leverkusen), as a carrier material for the sealing strip a fabric-reinforced, tear-resistant To use aluminum foil, which is laminated on one side with a plastic fleece. The aluminum foil is equipped with a releasably fixed movement loop or pleat which serves as a stretch reserve for thermal movements between the window frame and the window reveal. The bonding with the window frame and the window reveal is made by Butylschichten on both sides of the sealing strip, which are protected by peel-off films. The releasably fixed movement loop, however, restricts the possibility of laying the known sealing strip, since the sealing strip must always be glued to the window frame back so that the movement loop or expansion fold with the frame inner surface is completed. Furthermore, the production of the movement loop or pleats is complicated and expensive.
From DE 20117273 U, it is known to provide the seal country with extending transversely to the longitudinal extension waves.
The object of the invention is in contrast to provide a sealing strip of the type mentioned above, which can follow movements between the window frame and the window reveal elastic and is easy and cheap to manufacture.
This object is achieved by the characterizing features of
Advantageous embodiments and further developments of the sealing strip according to the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims.
The invention is based on the consideration to provide as a carrier material for the sealing strip an elastically deformable membrane made of plastic film. On this membrane is a layer of nonwoven laminated or laminated as a bonding material for plaster or gypsum mortar. It is essential that the fleece in the transverse direction of the sealing strip is elastically stretchable for receiving movements between the window frame and the window reveal. Furthermore, it is crucial that the fleece used is not or only slightly stretchable in the longitudinal direction of the sealing strip, so that in the processing of the sealing strip, the fleece has a sufficiently high yield strength. Preferably, the membrane is on both sides with the adhesive material of fleece coated. For use in the interior of buildings, the elastically deformable membrane consists of a diffusion-closed film material. Water vapor from the interior of the structure can not penetrate through the sealing strip into the masonry. For use in the exterior of buildings, the elastically deformable membrane consists of a vapor-permeable sheet material. The penetrated into the building from the outside water vapor can thus escape through the sealing tape into the outside environment. To attach the sealing tape according to the invention to the window reveal and to the window frame, suitable self-adhesive layers can be provided on one or both nonwoven layers. Alternatively to the use of self-adhesive layers, a liquid adhesive, for example an acrylate dispersion adhesive, can also be applied during assembly to the intended splices of the window frame and the window reveal. As the material for the plastic film, preferably thermoplastic materials such as polyethylene are used. Alternatively, a non-thermoplastic plastic such as polyurethane can be used for the plastic film. As a material for the nonwoven preferably carded web is used, for which plastics as polyester, polypropylene or polyethylene may preferably be provided.
The sealing strip according to the invention not only allows a simple, trouble-free sealing between the window frame and the bordering Fensterbelibung, but also allows the application of plaster or gypsum mortar on the nonwoven layer, without the risk of later formation of cracks due to thermal movements between the window frame and window reveal , Such thermal movements are completely absorbed by the elasticity of the sealing strip according to the invention in the transverse direction. The sealing strip according to the invention can be produced simply and inexpensively by laminating a nonwoven layer on one side or on both sides by exposure to heat and pressure or laminating it under application of heat and pressure using adhesive material interposed therebetween ,

The sealing
In a modification of the illustration in Fig. 1, in a variant of a sealing strip shown in Fig. 6 and a mutual arrangement of the self-
For use in the exterior of buildings, the
As a material for the
Due to its composition, the sealing tape according to the invention against sunlight and against acids and alkalis, as they are present in rainwater, an extremely high resistance. The already UV-resistant film material of the
The illustrated in Fig. 2 embodiment of the sealing
The embodiments according to FIGS. 1 and 2 can also be combined with one another, as can be seen from FIG. 3. The left-
For gluing the sealing
In a further embodiment of a sealing
It is understood that the weakly adherent
The weakly
To produce the sealing
