Claims (10)
- A device for replacing a segment of an arc-shaped strand guide that is composed of a plurality of segments and utilized in a continuous casting machine for casting liquid metals, particularly liquid steel, wherein the individual segments are detachably mounted in segment carriers and a detached segment can be lifted in a guide as far as the casting platform by means of a chain, a first crosshead and a crane,
characterized in that lifting lugs (22) hold the segment carrier (3) in a U-shaped second crosshead (10a), the lateral limbs (10b, 10c) of which are respectively suspended on a chain (5a, 5b). - The device according to claim 1,
characterized in that an access gangway (38) is arranged between the segments (1) and the strand guide (4). - The device according to claim 1 or 2,
characterized in that dismounting chains (5a, 5b) are respectively guided in a parallel fashion in one respective upper rail (4a) on both face sides (8a, 8b) of the strand guide (2) such that they follow the course of the guide (4), and in that the dismounting chains (5a, 5b) are connected to one another at the end (9) on the side of the crane by means of the first crosshead (10) that carries the crane loops (11). - The device according to one of claims 1-3,
characterized in that the dismounting chains (5a, 5b) can be respectively displaced in the rails (4a; 4b) by means of guide wheels (15) that are rotatably supported in the chain links (13). - The device according to one of claims 1-4,
characterized in that the dismounting chains (5a, 5b) are respectively connected to the second crosshead (10a) on both sides by means of mounting bolts (18) in order to lift a segment (1). - The device according to one of claims 1-5,
characterized in that the second crosshead (10a) forms the rectangular brackets (10b, 10c) at the end (17) on the side of the segment and contains mounting bolts (18) that are connected to the chains (5a, 5b). - The device according to one of claims 1-6,
characterized in that one of the rectangular brackets (10b) serves as a torque arm (23) on the side (25) that lies opposite of the support roll driving side (24), and in that the segment (1) can be suspended by means of at least two lifting lugs (22) and a bolt (20) on this side (25) and by means of a bolt (20) on the other side (24). - The device according to one of claims 1-7,
characterized in that a threading roll (26) is connected in an articulated fashion to the bottom chain link (13) of each dismounting chain (5a, 5b). - The device according to one of claims 1-8,
characterized in that both sides (24; 25) of the strand guide (2) are provided with free gangway surfaces (38a) in order to provide unimpeded access to the segments (1). - The device according to claim 9,
characterized in that the gangway surfaces (38a) have a minimum width of 500 mm.
