  3. Fixing device as claimed in claim 2, characterised in that clamp (3) is of one-piece construction and has two legs (3a and 3b) arranged parallel to each other with a fixed predetermined spacing.
  4. Fixing device as claimed in claim 2, characterised in that clamp (3) consists of two independent elements, one of which has an outer leg (3a) and the other of which has inner leg (3b), said elements having matching means of attachment with the ability of adjustment, in order to vary, as required, the spacing of said legs depending on the thickness of the leaf.
  5. Fixing device as claimed in claim 4, characterised in that one of the legs (3b) has, at one of its ends, a right-angled strap (3d) capable of being engaged, with the ability of adjustment, in a groove (3c1) of another right-angled strap (3e) formed at one of the ends of the other leg (3a).
  6. Fixing device as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the means of fixing consist of a connecting screw screwed into the thickness of plate (4) and hinge (1) and fixing (2) straps to be screwed into the thickness of the leaf.
  7. Fixing device as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the fixing strap (2) is straight.
