Description
- L'invention concerne un fil présentant des propriétés de résistance à la coupure, un équipement de protection contre la coupure, notamment un gant, réalisé à partir d'un tel fil et un procédé de réalisation d'un tel équipement.
- Les filaments de verre sont connus pour avoir des propriétés de résistance à la coupure. On peut définir cette résistance par rapport à la norme française et européenne NF EN 388 qui concerne les gants de protection contre les risques mécaniques.
- Il a été proposé, dans le document
FR-2 818 503 - Cependant, un fil d'âme monofilament présente une raideur trop importante pour permettre une utilisation confortable du gant réalisé à partir d'un tel fil.
- Il est connu, des documents
US-5 568 657 ,EP-1 180 555 ,US-2002/011062 etUS-5 845 476 , des fils présentant des propriétés de résistance à la coupure comprenant un fil d'âme multifilament comprenant une pluralité de filaments continus de verre. - Cependant, le nombre de filaments de verre n'est pas ajusté pour qu'à un titre donné, le fil présente une grande souplesse et une grande résistance aux flexions répétées.
- L'invention vise à palier cet inconvénient en proposant un fil ayant des propriétés de résistance à la coupure comprenant un ou plusieurs fils d'âme multifilament enrobés, le fil d'âme étant un fil multifilament dont le nombre de filament est ajusté pour offrir une plus grande souplesse et une plus grande résistance. Le gant réalisé à partir d'un tel fil présente des caractéristiques de résistance à la coupure conformes à la norme NF EN 388, notamment en ce qui concerne la résistance à la coupure par tranchage, et une souplesse adaptée à son utilisation ainsi qu'une grande longévité.
- A cet effet, l'invention concerne un fil possédant des propriétés de résistance à la coupure comprenant au moins un fil d'âme enrobé par au moins un fil d'enrobage constitué de fibres ou filaments continus, le fil d'âme présente un titrage de 110 décitex et est un fil multifilament comprenant de200 filaments continus de verre dont le diamètre est sensiblement égal à 5 micromètres.
- Ainsi, à un titre donné, le fil d'âme est plus souple et plus résistant aux flexions répétées.
- Selon un deuxième aspect, l'invention concerne un équipement de protection contre les coupures tel qu'un gant, comprenant un tricot d'au moins un fil tel que décrit ci-dessus.
- Un tel gant est donc confortable et présente une longévité importante.
- Selon un troisième aspect, l'invention concerne un procédé de réalisation d'un tel équipement de protection comprenant les étapes suivantes:
- enrober au moins un fil d'âme par au moins un fil d'enrobage de façon à réaliser un fil tel que décrit ci-dessus;
- tricoter, sous la forme d'un équipement de protection, au moins un tel fil, par exemple sur une machine à tricoter rectiligne;
- revêtir au moins partiellement le tricot d'une ou plusieurs couches de revêtement, par exemple par trempage.
- D'autres objets et avantages de l'invention apparaîtront au cours de la description qui suit, faite en référence au dessin annexé.
- La
figure 1 est une représentation schématique du fil selon l'invention, ce fil comprenant trois fils d'âme multifilament enrobés par un fil d'enrobage. - La
figure 2 est une représentation schématique d'un gant de protection contre la coupure réalisé à partir de fils tels que celui de lafigure 1 . - Le fil 1 selon l'invention comprend un ou plusieurs fils d'âme 2 enrobés par un ou plusieurs fils d'enrobage 3.
- Dans le mode de réalisation représenté sur la
figure 1 , le fil 1 comprend trois fils d'âme 2 et un fil d'enrobage 3 à des fins de simplification. - Le fil d'âme 2 est un fil multifilament comprenant une pluralité de filaments continus de verre 4. Ces filaments 4 peuvent être torsadés ou non et le fil d'âme 2 peut présenter différents titrages. On notera qu'a titrage égal, un fil monofilament est plus raide qu'un fil multifilament.
- Dans des exemples de réalisation, le fil d'âme 2 comprend 200 filaments continus de verre 4 d'un diamètre de 5 micromètres.
- Dans un exemple particulier de réalisation, le fil d'âme 2 comprend 200 filaments d'un diamètre de 5 micromètres pour un titre de 110 dTex.
- On peut choisir d'enrober un seul fil d'âme 2 ou plusieurs afin de renforcer la résistance à la coupure du fil 1. Dans le cas où l'on utilise plusieurs fils d'âme 2 enrobés ensemble, on peut choisir de les torsader entre eux ou non.
- Les fils d'âme 2 sont enrobés par un ou plusieurs fils d'enrobage 3, par exemple par moulinage. Les fils d'enrobage 3 peuvent également être multifilaments.
- Les filaments ou fibres continus des fils d'enrobage sont réalisés en un matériau parmi le polyamide, le polyester, l'acrylique, le coton, le polyéthylène, le polypropylène ou le méta et para aramide. On peut également envisager d'utiliser des filaments en matériaux différents suivant les caractéristiques que l'on veut conférer au fil 1.
- Dans une réalisation particulière, le fil d'âme 2 est enrobé par deux fils d'enrobage 3 de polyester présentant un titrage de 110 décitex chacun.
- Le fil 1, tel que décrit ci-dessus, permet de réaliser des équipements de protection contre la coupure. Un tel équipement est par exemple un gant de protection 5, tel que celui représenté sur la
figure 2 . - Le gant 5 comprend un tricot d'au moins un fil 1.
- Ce fil peut également être tricoté avec d'autres fils textiles, par exemple avec des fils moins coûteux afin de faire baisser les coûts de production, tout en gardant une proportion de verre suffisante pour assurer la protection voulue. Ces fils comprennent une pluralité de filaments ou fibres continus appartenant à la famille des polyamide, polyester, acrylique, coton, polyéthylène, polypropylène ou méta et para aramide.
- Le gant peut comprendre un revêtement au moins partiel sur le tricot. Ce revêtement peut être une couche de PVC, de caoutchouc naturel, de polyuréthanne, de polychloroprène ou de caoutchouc nitrile. Ces matériaux peuvent être utilisés seuls ou en mélange et le revêtement peut comprendre plusieurs couches.
- On peut choisir de revêtir tout le gant ou une partie de celui-ci seulement, comme par exemple la paume et le dessus des doigts.
- Le revêtement peut être lisse ou rugueux. Lorsqu'il est rugueux, le revêtement permet d'améliorer la prise en main d'objets huileux, humides ou glissants.
- On peut envisager de terminer le gant avec un poignet ou une manchette, par exemple réalisés en coton, cuir ou tout autre matériau. Il suffit de coudre le poignet ou la manchette sur le gant.
- Le procédé de réalisation de l'équipement de protection va maintenant être décrit.
- La première étape consiste à enrober au moins un fil d'âme 2 par au moins un fil d'enrobage 3, par exemple par moulinage, de façon à réaliser un fil 1.
- On tricote ensuite, avec la forme souhaitée, au moins un fil 1, par exemple sur une machine à tricoter rectiligne.
- Le tricot est revêtu au moins partiellement d'une ou plusieurs couches de revêtement, par exemple par trempage selon des méthodes connues.
- On peut ensuite choisir de rendre la couche extérieure du revêtement rugueuse, par exemple par poudrage, projection de granulé, gravure chimique ou gravure mécanique.
- On représente ci-dessous un tableau comparatif montrant différentes compositions des fils du tricot utilisés pour réaliser un gant de protection et les indices de coupures correspondants (ces indices sont définis dans la norme NF EN 388).

(doublure)1774 g/m2 4 18.3 - On constate avec ce tableau qu'à masse surfacique égale, la résistance à la coupure augmente avec le pourcentage de verre (cf. composition 1 à composition 4).
- Dans la composition 5, le verre est associé avec une fibre à base de polyéthylène ayant une résistance à la coupure élevée. On constate que cette association permet d'obtenir un indice de résistance à la coupure élevé.
- La composition 6 concerne un gant revêtu par du PVC, le verre est donc contenu dans la doublure de ce gant. Lorsque la proportion de verre dans la doublure est convenable, on constate que le gant conserve une bonne résistance à la coupure après l'enduction de PVC.
Claims (10)
- Fil possédant des propriétés de résistance à la coupure comprenant au moins un fil d'âme (2) enrobé par au moins un fil d'enrobage (3) constitué de fibres ou de filaments continus, caractérisé en ce que le fil d'âme (2) présente un titrage de 110 décitex et est un fil multifilament comprenant 200 filaments continus de verre (4) d'un diamètre sensiblement égal à 5 micromètres.
- Fil selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le fil d'enrobage (3) comprend des fibres ou des filaments continus en un ou plusieurs matériaux appartenant à la famille des polyamide, polyester, acrylique, coton, polyéthylène, polypropylène ou méta et para aramide.
- Fil selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que le fil d'âme (2) est enrobé par deux fils d'enrobage (3) de polyester présentant un titrage de 110 décitex chacun.
- Equipement de protection contre les coupures tel qu'un gant (5), caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un tricot d'au moins un fil (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3.
- Equipement de protection selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que ledit tricot comprend en outre des fils textiles comprenant une pluralité de fibres ou de filaments continus appartenant à la famille des polyamide, polyester, acrylique, coton, polyéthylène, polypropylène ou méta et para aramide.
- Equipement de protection selon l'une des revendications 4 ou 5, caractérisé en ce qu'il est revêtu, au moins partiellement, par une couche de PVC, de caoutchouc naturel, de polyuréthanne, de polychloroprène ou de caoutchouc nitrile, utilisés seuls ou en mélange.
- Equipement de protection selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que le revêtement comprend en outre au moins une couche supplémentaire.
- Equipement de protection selon l'une des revendication 6 or 7, caractérisé en ce que la couche extérieure du revêtement est rugueuse
- Procédé de réalisation d'un équipement de protection selon l'une des revendications 6 à 8, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend les étapes suivantes :- enrober au moins un fil d'âme (2) par au moins un fil d'enrobage (3) de façon à réaliser un fil (1) selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3;- tricoter, sous la forme d'un équipement de protection, au moins un fil (1) ;- revêtir au moins partiellement le tricot d'une ou plusieurs couches de revêtement.
- Procédé de réalisation d'un équipement de protection selon la revendication 9 lorsqu'elle dépend de la revendication 8, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une étape supplémentaire consistant à rendre la couche extérieure du revêtement rugueuse par poudrage, projection de granulé, gravure chimique ou gravure mécanique.
