Claims (10)

  1. Faden mit schnittfesten Eigenschaften, der zumindest einen Seelenfaden (2) umfasst, der von zumindest einem Mantelfaden (3) umhüllt ist, der aus Fasern oder Endlosfilamenten besteht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Seelenfaden (2) einen Titer von 110 Dezitex aufweist und ein Multifilament ist, das 200 Endlosfilamente aus Glas (4) mit einem Durchmesser, der im Wesentlichen 5 Mikrometer beträgt, umfasst.
  2. Faden nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Mantelfaden (3) Fasern oder Endlosfilamente aus einem oder mehreren Materialien umfasst, die zu den Familien Polyamide, Polyester, Acryl, Baumwolle, Polyethylen, Polypropylen oder Meta- und Paraaramid gehören.
  3. Faden nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Seelenfaden (2) von zwei Polyestermantelfäden (3) umhüllt ist, die jeweils einen Titer von 110 Dezitex aufweisen.
  4. Ausrüstung zum Schutz vor Schnitten, wie etwa ein Handschuh (5), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie ein Gestrick mit zumindest einem Faden (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3 umfasst.
  5. Schutzausrüstung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das besagte Gestrick des Weiteren Textilfäden umfasst, die mehrere Fasern oder Endlosfilamente umfassen, die zu den Familien Polyamide, Polyester, Acryl, Baumwolle, Polyethylen, Polypropylen oder Meta- und Paraaramid gehören.
  6. Schutzausrüstung nach einem der Ansprüche 4 oder 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie zumindest teilweise mit einer Schicht aus PVC, Naturkautschuk, Polyurethan, Polychloropren oder Nitrilkautschuk, die jeweils alleine oder als Mischung verwendet werden, überzogen ist.
  7. Schutzausrüstung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Überzug des Weiteren zumindest eine zusätzliche Schicht umfasst.
  8. Schutzausrüstung nach einem der Ansprüche 6 oder 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Außenschicht des Überzugs rau ist.
  9. Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Schutzausrüstung nach einem der Ansprüche 6 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es folgende Schritte umfasst:
    - Umhüllen von zumindest einem Seelenfaden (2) mit zumindest einem Mantelfaden (3), so dass ein Faden (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3 entsteht;
    - Verstricken von zumindest einem Faden (1) zur Form einer Schutzausrüstung;
    - zumindest teilweises Überziehen des Gestricks mit einer oder mehreren Überzugschichten.
  10. Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Schutzausrüstung nach Anspruch 9, wenn dieser von Anspruch 8 abhängig ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es einen zusätzlichen Schritt umfasst, der darin besteht, die Außenschicht des Überzugs durch Pulver- oder Granulatbeschichtung, chemische Ätzung oder 5mechanische Gravur rau zu machen.
