- A saw blade for a saw (40) having a rotary oscillatory drive comprising a mounting section (12; 12a; 12c; 12d) having a mounting opening (14; 14a; 14b; 14c, 15c; 14d, 15d) mated to a support of the drive shaft (44) for postively or non-positively engaging the drive shaft (44) which is driven rotaringly oscillating about its longitudinal axis, and further comprising a working section (16; 16a; 16b; 16c; 16d) having a cutting edge (18; 18a; 18b; 18c; 18d; 18e) with a series of cutting teeth (17e), wherein at least the cutting edge (18; 18a; 18b; 18c; 7.8d; 18e) is made of bimetal, characterized in that the working section (16; 16a; 16b; 16c; 16d) at least at one surface, preferably at both surfaces, comprises a coating (19; 19a; 19c; 19d) with a grinding material, pre-erably a coating with diamond grinding particles or hard metal grinding particles.
- The saw blade of claim 1, characterized in that the cutting edge (18; 18a; 18b); 18c; 18d; 18e) comprises a set of teeth.
- The saw blade of claim 2, characterized in that the cutting edge (18; 18a; 181); 18c; 18d; 18e) comprises a wave set of teeth.
- The saw blade of any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the coating (19; 19a; 19c; 19d) is located at a section adjoining the cutting edge (18; 18a; 18b; 18c; 18d; 18e).
- The saw of any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the blade (17; 20; 40; 50) is designed longitudinally, wherein the mounting section (12; 12a; 12b; 12c; 12d) extends from one end to the working section (16; 16a; 16b 16c; 16d) at an opposite end thereof.
- The saw blade of any of the preceding claims, wherein the working section (16b) of the saw blade (30) comprises a bent cutting edge (18b), wherein the center of the bending is preferably located within the mounting opening (14b).
- The saw blade of claim 6, wherein the saw blade (30) comprises an arcuate or a partially arcuate cutting edge (18b).
- A saw (40) comprising an oscillatory drive (42) for rotatingly oscillating driving a drive shaft (44) about its longitudinal axis (46), and further comprising a saw blade (10; 20; 30; 40; 50) according to any of claims 1 to 7.
