Fig. 1 zeigt ein plattenförmiges Werkstück 1, welches bei stationärer Aufspannung auf einem Bearbeitungstisch einer programmgesteuerten Holzbearbeitungsmaschine entlang seines Umfanges bearbeitet wird. Ein wesentlicher Bearbeitungsschritt ist das Aufkleben eines Kantenbandes 5 auf die Plattenschmalseiten 2 und 3 über die Plattenecke 4 hinweg, welches mittels eines Kantenanleimaggregates 6 geschieht. Das Kantenanleimaggregat ist dazu an einer Schwenkachse einer Bearbeitungseinheit einer programmgesteuerten Maschine aufgenommen. Im übrigen steuert das Maschinenprogramm den Umlauf und den Schwenk des Kantenanleimaggregates 6 um das jeweilige plattenförmige Werkstück 1 herum, dessen Umrißgestalt entsprechend im Maschinenprogramm abgelegt ist. Da die Kappsäge 15 das Kantenband 5 lediglich völlig durchtrennt, genügt ein ausreichender Zustellweg der Kappsäge 15, um mit dessen Kreissägeblatt 16 den Querschnitt des Kantenbandes 5 völlig zu durchfahren.Opposite the gluing device 13, 14 a chop saw 15 with a circular saw blade 16 is arranged on the edge banding unit 6, which can also be referred to as a jigsaw. Denn mit dem Kreissägeblatt 18 der Nutsäge 17 soll das Kantenband 5 an derjenigen Seite lediglich eingeschnitten, jedoch nicht durchgeschnitten werden, mit der das Kantenband 5 auf die Schmalflächenseiten 2, 3 des plattenförmigen Werkstücks 1 aufgeklebt wird. Da bezogen auf die Durchlaufrichtung des Kantenbandes 5 die Nutsäge 17 mit ihrem Kreissägeblatt 18 auf dem Schlitten 25 ortsfest angeordnet ist, muß ein Verlaufen des während eines Arbeitsspiels der Nutsäge angebrachten Einschnitts verhindert werden. Dazu wird über das Maschinenprogramm der Vorschub des gesamten Kantenanleimaggregates angehalten, womit vorübergehend der Durchlauf des Kantenbandes 5, das von einem Kantenbandvorrat abgezogen wird, gestoppt wird.At Kantenanleimaggregat 6 a Nutsäge 17 is also arranged, which is also in the direction of passage of the edge strip 5 in front of the gluing device 13, 14.
