Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production de zymostérol et/ou de ses produits intermédiaires et/ou secondaires biosynthétiques par mise en culture d'organismes, notamment de levures, qui, par rapport au type sauvage, présentent une activité accrue de lanostérol-C14-déméthylase et une activité accrue de HMG-CoA-réductase. L'invention concerne également les constructions d'acides nucléiques requises pour la production desdits organismes génétiquement modifiés, ainsi que lesdits organismes génétiquement modifiés eux-mêmes, notamment des levures.
