- An espagnolette fitting for a window, door or the like, having an espagnolette rod (4) and having an espagnolette rod drive by means of which the espagnolette rod (4) is movable in a displacement direction (V),• the espagnolette rod drive comprising a driving element (11, 40) which is supported on the espagnolette rod (4) in the displacement direction (V) by means of the espagnolette rod (4) having an aperture (8) against whose edge the driving element (11, 40) is supported in the displacement direction (V) of the espagnolette rod (4) and• the driving element (11, 40) being for its part drivable in the displacement direction (V) of the espagnolette rod (4) by means of a gear mechanism (9) that can be arranged in a gear mechanism receptacle (10) of the wing or fixed frame,characterised in that
the driving element (11, 40) is fully received in the aperture (8) of the espagnolette rod (4), so that it is possible to introduce the driving element (11, 40) into the aperture (8) of the espagnolette rod (4) from the underside of the espagnolette rod (4) or from the upper side of the espagnolette rod (4) when mounting. - A window, door or the like having a wing and a fixed frame, and having an espagnolette fitting (1) according to claim 1, the espagnolette rod (4) being guided in a longitudinally displaceable manner on the wing or the fixed frame and being movable in the displacement direction (V) by means of the espagnolette rod drive,• the driving element (11, 40) being for its part drivable in the displacement direction (V) of the espagnolette rod (4) by means of a gear mechanism (9) arranged in a gear mechanism receptacle (10) of the wing or fixed frame.
- A window according to claim 2, characterised in that the aperture (8) is of a size such that the gear mechanism (9) can be inserted into the gear mechanism receptacle (10) through the aperture (8).
- A window according to either claim 2 or claim 3, characterised in that the espagnolette rod (4) is displaceably arranged in a groove (3), especially a C-groove, of the wing or fixed frame, especially of a wing profile-section (2) or frame profile-section, and the width of the driving element (11, 40) is smaller than or equal to the width of the groove opening (37).
- A window according to any one of claims 2 to 4, characterised in that the gear mechanism (9) is arranged in a gear mechanism casing which has support lugs (26, 27) with fastening openings (28, 29) for fastening means (13) via which the gear mechanism casing can be fastened to the wing or the fixed frame.
- A window according to any one of claims 2 to 5, characterised in that the gear mechanism casing and the driving element (11, 40) form a structural unit.
- A window according to any one of claims 2 to 6, characterised in that the gear mechanism casing comprises two casing halves (20, 21) which can be connected, especially screwed, to each other, and the casing halves (20, 21) form a guide for the driving element (11, 40).
- A window according to any one of claims 2 to 7, characterised in that the driving element (11) has a groove (30) on both sides, into which at least one projection (31) of the casing halves (20, 21) engages in each case.
- A window according to any one of claims 2 to 8, characterised in that the gear mechanism casing has side apertures (17), especially bores with an internal thread, for receiving fastening screws for the rosette of a manual operating handle.
- A window according to any one of claims 2 to 9, characterised in that the driving element (11, 40) has openings (12), especially through-holes, which in a mounting position of the driving element (11, 40) cover the fastening openings (28, 29) of the support lugs (26, 27).
- A window according to any one of claims 2 to 10, characterised in that a coupling element (24) which cooperates with the driving element (11, 40) is rotatably arranged in the gear mechanism casing.
