Definitions

  • the invention relates to an escalator or a moving walkway consisting of a balustrade, a balustrade base, steps or plates for the transport of persons and objects, arranged on the balustrade handrail construction with a handrail for the safety of persons, in a deflection of the balustrade means a drivable support disk is deflected.
  • a disadvantage of the known device is that the handrail drive is usable only for encapsulated deflection wheels.
  • the centrally arranged pulley with the drive chain must always be covered for safety reasons.
  • the invention aims to remedy this situation.
  • the invention as characterized in claim 1 solves the problem of avoiding the disadvantages of the known device and to propose a handrail drive, which can also be used in Glasbalustraden.
  • the advantages achieved by the invention are essentially to be seen in the fact that in escalators or moving walkways with elegant balustrade designed as a truss supporting body can be built slim.
  • the handrail guide can be simplified and the handrail bending changes can be minimized thanks to the handrail drive acting directly on the diverter wheel.
  • Another advantage is that the deflection can be built as slim as the balustrades and that the designer has more freedom in the design of the deflection.
  • the truss width can be reduced and the length of the handrail shortened.
  • the handrail no longer crosses the step chain.
  • the handrail intermediate shaft and chain lubrication omitted.
  • Fig. 1 to 10 1 is a deflecting area of an escalator or moving walk, which essentially has a balustrade base 2, a balustrade 3 and a handrail 4.
  • a balustrade base 2 For the transport of persons and objects at an escalator stages 5 or at a moving platform plates 5 are provided, which each extend to the cheeks side to the balustrade base 2.
  • the step side or plate side of the balustrade 3 is referred to in the other with the transport side 6 and the outside of the balustrade 3 with 7.
  • the balustrade 3 consists of, for example glass with a wall thickness of about 10 mm, which gives the escalator and the moving walk a sleek, lightweight, elegant look.
  • Fig. 1 shows a deflection of the handrail 4 by means of a rotating about an axis 9, for example, transparent support plate 10, with a wall thickness which corresponds approximately to the wall thickness of the balustrade 3.
  • the axis 9 is held by at least one, for example, transparent supporting cheek 11, which is connected for example by means of a welded connection 12 to the supporting structure of the handrail 4 and / or for example by means of a screw or rivet connection 13 with the balustrade 3.
  • Fig. 2 shows details of the deflection of the handrail 4.
  • the axis 9 is connected on the outside 7, for example by means of a screw or rivet 13 with the support cheek 11, which connected as well as the support beam 11 of the transport side 6 by means of the welded connection 12 with a support 14 of the handrail construction is.
  • a darkening may be provided in the peripheral region of the support disk 10.
  • the each arranged on one side of the support plate 10 support 14 has at its one end a sliding surface 15 on which the handrail 4 slides outside and is guided.
  • the support disk 10 is rotatably supported by means of a bearing 16 on the axis 9.
  • Fig. 3 shows the built-in balustrade base 2 handrail drive 20 consisting of, for example, an electric motor 21, which drives a drive wheel 23 by means of a chain 22 or by means of a belt 22 (timing belt, V-belt, flat belt, knob belt).
  • the support disk 10 is driven peripherally by the drive wheel 23.
  • the guided over a deflector 24 handrail 4 is taken by friction of the support plate 10.
  • the electric motor 21 may be a torque motor or be synchronized by means of a control loop with a step chain 26.1 or a step chain motor.
  • section BB illustrates the arrangement of the handrail drive 20 in the balustrade base 2 and the peripheral frontal drive of the support plate 10 by means of the drive wheel 23.
  • step chain 26.1 connected on both sides stage 5 with the rollers 25,26 shown on a support structure 27 arranged guide 26.2 unroll.
  • Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 show the inventive handrail drive 20 with an intermediate shaft 28, wherein the intermediate shaft 28 by means of a step chain driving main shaft 29 is driven.
  • Fig. 6 shows the handrail drive 20 without translation gear 30, wherein the power transmission from the intermediate shaft 28 takes place directly on the drive wheel 23 by means of crossed belt 32.
  • Fig. 7 shows a variant of the handrail drive 20 without intermediate shaft.
  • the translation gear 30 is driven directly by the main shaft 29.
  • the elimination of the intermediate shaft 28 is a constructive advantage and reduces the number of components.
  • Fig. 8, Fig. 9 and Fig. 10 show the detail C of the Fig. 4 showing the drive wheel 23 and the support plate 10 in more detail, which are variants of possible friction pairings or gear pairings.
  • Fig. 8 shows a drive wheel 23 with a smooth surface as a friction surface by means of the support plate 10 is driven.
  • the drive wheel 23 is arranged for example on a pendulum arm, not shown, which is acted upon by a spring force of a spring 34, wherein the drive wheel 23 is pressed against the support plate 10.
  • the required contact pressure is generated at the Reibberlickungsstelle 33.
  • made of plastic, aluminum or safety glass Support disk 10 and the drive wheel 23, for example made of polyuretan, polyamide or Polyvinylidenflourid are coordinated as a friction partner, the spring force of the spring 34, for example, pneumatically or hydraulically amplified or attenuated.
  • Fig. 9 shows the drive wheel 23 with a smooth surface as a friction surface and the support plate 10 with a cord or knurl or a Wienrändelober Structure 35 as a friction surface
  • the drive wheel 23 for example, a rubberized roller made of polyurethane and slender construction and therefore extremely light support plate 10 is driven by compression springs ,
  • the friction improves at the Reibberagitungsstelle 33 and reduces the risk of slipping.
  • Fig. 10 shows the drive wheel 23 with a straight spur toothing 36, wherein the support plate 10 also has a spur toothing.
  • the contact point 37 is located on the toothed wheel part circle and is form-fitting.
  • the gears are equipped with many small teeth, because damage to the handrail 4 would be given by large teeth.
  • the inner side of the handrail 4 or the sliding layer is hardly damaged by the small teeth on the large diameter of the support disk 10.
  • the drive of the handrail 4 is comparable to a multi-stage gear transmission, wherein the handrail 4 with the last gear is engaged.
  • An arranged on the structure 27 mounting bracket 38 holds the drive wheel 23 fixed at a certain distance from the support plate 10, wherein the distance is adjustable.
