Abstract

L'invention concerne une tablette arriíre (4) pour véhicule automobile doté d'un toit repliable dans son coffre arriíre et de moyens pour à faire passer ladite tablette (4) d'une position d'utilisation à une position escamotée ou elle est disposée verticalement de maniíre à dégager un espace de passage pour ledit toit. Elle comprend un élément central (5) apte à adopter lesdites positions ; deux éléments latéraux (6) articulés chacun à un bord transversal dudit élément central (5) autour d'un axe longitudinal (7) ; des chemins de came (11, 17) agencés pour disposer lesdits éléments latéraux (6) dans le plan dudit élément central (5) lorsque la tablette (4) est en position d'utilisation et pour incliner lesdits éléments latéraux (6) par rapport audit élément central (5) lorsque la tablette (4) est en position escamotée.

Description

TABLETTE ARRIERE POUR VEHICULE AUTOMOBILE DOTE D'UN TOIT
REPLIABLE
La présente invention concerne une tablette arrière pour véhicule automobile doté d'un toit repliable dans son coffre arrière, et plus particulièrement d'un tel véhicule comprenant des moyens aptes à faire passer ladite tablette d'une position d'utilisation où elle est disposée généralement sensiblement horizontalement entre un élément de châssis du véhicule et le bord avant d'un couvercle dudit coffre, à une position escamotée où elle est disposée généralement sensiblement verticalement de manière à dégager un espace de passage pour ledit toit entre ledit élément de châssis et ledit bord.
On connaît déjà de telles tablettes arrières qui pivotent de la position d'utilisation à la position escamotée pour l'entrée ou la sortie du toit dans le coffre arrière.
Un problème se pose toutefois du fait que, lors du passage de la tablette d'une position à l'autre, ses bords latéraux peuvent être gênés par la garniture intérieure de la partie arrière du toit.
On a proposé de ce fait dans les documents DE 197 49 552 et US 5 921 608 de réaliser des tablettes de ce type comprenant :
- un élément central apte à adopter lesdites positions ;
- deux éléments latéraux.
Plus particulièrement, dans le premier des documents précités, les éléments latéraux sont articulés chacun à un bord transversal dudit élément central autour d'un axe sensiblement longitudinal.
Toutefois, les mécanismes de commande des éléments latéraux sont complexes et peu satisfaisants.
La présente vise à pallier cet inconvénient. Plus particulièrement, la présente invention vise à fournir une tablette arrière pour véhicule doté d'un toit repliable dans laquelle des moyens sont prévus pour escamoter ses bords latéraux lors de son passage d'une position à l'autre.
A cet effet, un premier objet de l'invention est une tablette arrière pour véhicule automobile doté d'un toit repliable dans son coffre arrière et de moyens aptes à faire passer ladite tablette d'une position d'utilisation où elle est disposée généralement sensiblement horizontalement entre un élément du châssis du véhicule et le bord avant d'un couvercle dudit coffre à une position escamotée ou elle est disposée généralement sensiblement verticalement de manière à dégager un espace de passage pour ledit toit entre ledit élément de châssis et ledit bord avant, ladite tablette comprenant :
- un élément central apte à adopter lesdites positions ;
- deux éléments latéraux articulés chacun à un bord transversal dudit élément central (5) autour d'un axe sensiblement longitudinal ; caractérisée par le fait qu'elle comprend :
- deux suiveurs de came solidaires chacun d'un desdits éléments latéraux et aptes à coopérer chacun avec un chemin de came solidaire dudit châssis ;
- des moyens élastiques entre ledit élément central et lesdits éléments latéraux aptes à appliquer lesdits suiveurs de cames sur lesdits chemins de came ;
- lesdits suiveurs de came, chemins de came et moyens élastiques étant agencés pour disposer lesdits éléments latéraux généralement dans le plan dudit élément central lorsque la tablette est en position d'utilisation et pour incliner lesdits éléments latéraux par rapport audit élément central lorsque la tablette est en position escamotée.
Ainsi, lorsque l'élément central de la tablette passe en position escamotée, ses éléments latéraux pivotent de façon simple par rapport à l'axe longitudinal pour les incliner par rapport à l'élément central et ainsi dégager le passage de la garniture intérieure du toit.
Les éléments latéraux de la tablette peuvent pivoter soit vers le haut soit vers le bas par rapport à leur position d'utilisation en fonction des espaces disponibles dans le véhicule et des cinématiques particulières de la tablette. L'invention a également pour objet un véhicule automobile comportant une tablette arrière telle que décrite ci-dessus.
On décrira maintenant à titre d'exemple non limitatif deux modes de réalisation de l'invention en référence aux dessins schématiques annexés dans lesquels :
- la figure 1 est une vue partielle en coupe longitudinale d'un véhicule doté d'un toit repliable, la tablette étant réalisée selon un premier mode de réalisation ;
- les figures 2a et 2b sont des demi-vues en coupe transversale d'un véhicule muni d'une tablette selon le premier mode de réalisation, la tablette étant respectivement en position d'utilisation et en position escamotée ;
- les figures 3a et 3b sont des vues similaires à la figure 2, la tablette étant respectivement en position d'utilisation et en position escamotée, ladite tablette étant réalisée selon une variante du premier mode de réalisation ;
- les figure 4a et 4b sont des demi-vues en coupe transversale d'un véhicule muni d'une tablette selon un deuxième mode de réalisation, ladite tablette étant respectivement en position d'utilisation et en position escamotée.
Comme montré à la figure 1 , un véhicule à toit repliable comprend un châssis 1 , un couvercle 2 de coffre arrière, et une tablette arrière 4 joignant longitudinalement le bord arrière du châssis 1 au bord avant du couvercle 2.
Par longitudinalement, on entend dans la direction avant/arrière du véhicule.
Le toit du véhicule est composé d'une pluralité d'éléments dont seul l'élément arrière 3 est représenté. Dans la position où le toit du véhicule recouvre l'habitacle, le bord arrière du toit arrive au niveau de la jonction entre le bord arrière de la tablette 4 et le bord avant du couvercle 2.
Pour permettre le repliement du toit dans le coffre arrière, on bascule la tablette 4 en position sensiblement verticale et l'on soulève la partie avant du couvercle 2. La tablette arrière 4 comprend un élément central 5 et deux éléments latéraux 6 articulés à l'élément central autour d'un axe longitudinal 7.
L'articulation autour des axes 7 permet un mouvement vers le haut (figures 1 à 3) ou vers le bas (figure 4) des éléments latéraux 6 par rapport à l'élément central 5.
Selon le premier mode de réalisation, illustré par les figures 1 à 3, les éléments latéraux 6 sont escamotés vers le bas du véhicule, de telle sorte qu'il n'est pas nécessaire de reculer le toit avant le déplacement de la tablette 4.
A cet effet, selon une première variante, illustrée par les figures 1 et 2, il est prévu des bras articulés 8 fixés par une extrémité à la tablette 4, et par l'autre extrémité au châssis 1. Une tringle 9 directement montée sur ces bras 8 (figure 2) permet, par l'intermédiaire d'un système de bielles (non représenté) de faire pivoter les éléments latéraux 6 vers le bas.
Selon une deuxième variante du premier mode de réalisation (figure 3), le pivotement vers le bas des éléments latéraux 6 est réalisé au moyen d'un ergot 10 solidaire des éléments latéraux 6. Cet ergot 10 constitue un suiveur de came apte à coopérer avec un chemin de came 11 situé sur un support 12 solidaire du châssis 1.
Un ressort 14 disposé entre l'ergot 10 et un ergot 13 situé sur l'élément central 5 de la tablette est agencé pour entraîner un tel pivotement.
Selon un deuxième mode de réalisation, illustré par les figures 4a et 4b, les éléments latéraux 6 sont escamotés vers le haut du véhicule, de telle sorte qu'il est nécessaire de reculer le toit par tout moyen convenable préalablement au déplacement de la tablette 4.
A cet effet, les éléments latéraux 6 sont munis d'un suiveur de came 15 en forme de col de cygne, dont l'extrémité 16 est montée pivotante en rotation sur l'élément central 5 de la tablette 4. Ce suiveur de came 15 est agencé pour coopérer avec un chemin de came 17 situé sur le support 12 solidaire du châssis 1.
Un ressort de rappel 18 est fixé d'une part au nez 19 du suiveur de came 15, et d'autre part à un ergot 20 situé sur la tablette. Ce ressort 18 permet d'appliquer le nez 19 du suiveur de came 15 sur le chemin de came 17, lorsque la tablette 4 est en position d'utilisation (figure 4a). Puis, lorsque la tablette 4 est relevée, le ressort 18 entraîne le nez 19 du suiveur de came 15 vers le haut, ce mouvement entraînant le soulèvement de l'élément latéral 6, et son pivotement par rapport à l'élément central 5.
Des moyens connus (non représentés) sont prévus pour faire passer l'élément central 5 de la tablette de sa position d'utilisation représentée aux figures 2a, 3a et 4a où elle assure la jonction entre le châssis 1 du véhicule et le bord avant du couvercle de coffre arrière, à une position escamotée où elle laisse un passage libre pour les éléments de toit entre le châssis et ledit bord avant.

Claims

REVENDICATIONS
1. Tablette arrière (4) pour véhicule automobile doté d'un toit repliable dans son coffre arrière et de moyens aptes à faire passer ladite tablette (4) d'une position d'utilisation où elle est disposée généralement sensiblement horizontalement entre un élément du châssis du véhicule et le bord avant d'un couvercle dudit coffre à une position escamotée ou elle est disposée généralement sensiblement verticalement de manière à dégager un espace de passage pour ledit toit entre ledit élément de châssis et ledit bord avant, ladite tablette comprenant :
- un élément central (5) apte à adopter lesdites positions ;
- deux éléments latéraux (6) articulés chacun à un bord transversal dudit élément central (5) autour d'un axe sensiblement longitudinal (7) ; caractérisée par le fait qu'elle comprend :
- deux suiveurs de came (10, 15) solidaires chacun d'un desdits éléments latéraux (6) et aptes à coopérer chacun avec un chemin de came (11 , 17) solidaire dudit châssis ;
- des moyens élastiques (18 ) entre ledit élément central (5) et lesdits éléments latéraux(6) aptes à appliquer lesdits suiveurs de cames (10, 15) sur lesdits chemins de came (11 , 17) ;
- lesdits suiveurs de came, chemins de came et moyens élastiques étant agencés pour disposer lesdits éléments latéraux (6) généralement dans le plan dudit élément central (5) lorsque la tablette (4) est en position d'utilisation et pour incliner lesdits éléments latéraux (6) par rapport audit élément central (5) lorsque la tablette (4) est en position escamotée.
2. Véhicule automobile caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte une tablette arrière (4) selon la revendication 1.
