Abstract

Die Snowboardbindung hat eine im Abstand zur Oberfläche eines Snowboards (S) befestigbare Sockelplatte (3), die eine Ausnehmung (10) aufweist, eine zwischen dem Snowboard und der Sockelplatte angeordnete Spannplatte, von der ein Zapfen (5) absteht, der durch die Ausnehmung (10) der Sockelplatte (3) hindurchragt. Eine Grundplatte (1), an der die üblichen Befestigungsmittel zur Halterung eines Stiefels angebracht sind, hat eine Öffnung (24), die von einer Niederhalteplatte (2) übergriffen wird. Die Niederhalteplatte (2) ist mittels einer mittigen Öffnung (11) über den Zapfen (5) mit der Spannplatte (4) gekoppelt. Die Ausnehmung (10) der Sockelplatte (3) ist in zwei senkrecht zueinander stehenden Verschieberichtungen (x, y) wesentlich größer als der Durchmesser des Zapfens (5) der Spannplatte (3), so daß die Spannplatte (4) und die mit ihr gekoppelte Niederhalteplatte (2) samt der Grundplatte (1) relativ zur Sockelplatte (3) in den beiden Verschieberichtungen verschieblich ist. Weiter sind an der Sockelplatte (3) Mittel (15, 16-19; 34) zur formschlüssigen Verbindung der Sockelplatte (3) mit der Spannplatte (4) und/oder der Niederhalteplatte (2) vorhanden. Die Mittel (15, 16-19) sind vorzugsweise so ausgestaltet, daß die beiden Verschieberichtungen (x, y) voneinander entkoppelt sind (Fig. 1).
