Abstract

In a papermaking process a wet fibre layer on a moving dewatering belt (1) and felt belt (2), the belt lower face is subjected to a partial vacuum. The belt (1, 2) is supported by a structure (4, 5) with a series of separate supporting components located at intervals. The supporting components are separated from the moving sieve belt (1) and felt (2) by low-wear pads. The supporting components are position-adjustable transverse beams forming corrugated outer margins. The supporting structures also move and generate an oscillating action in the moving wet fibre suspension.

Description

The subject invention relates to a device for at least one screen belt or a felt belt having plant for paper production, which for supporting the screen belt or the felt belt and stripping passing through the screen belt, from the paper pulp or paper belt on this emerging water with a plurality of supporting or stripping elements is formed, on the upper sides of the screen belt or the felt belt comes to rest, to which device optionally a vacuum source is connected and further one of the width of the wire belt or the felt strip correspondingly wide support means for side by side or arranged one behind the other and spaced from each other supporting or stripping is provided, wherein the interstices between the support or stripping the passageways for the emerging from the pulp or the paper tape water or for the form air sucked through the screen belt or the felt belt.

Known plants for paper production have a first part of the plant, in which there is at least one screen made of plastic, and a second part of the plant, in which there is at least one felt belt, on which two tapes, which are self-contained, during operation of the plant over Guide rollers or guide rollers are moved in circulation. On the screen belt, a pulp is applied, from which the liquid contained in this removed along the movement path of the wire, in particular sucked, is. Subsequently, the paper tape is transferred to at least one downstream felt belt, through which the residual moisture contained in the paper tape is absorbed.

Both the wire belt and the felt belt are treated by means arranged in the course of the movement paths devices. By a first group of devices, the leaked to the underside of the screen belt, leaked from the paper tape liquid is stripped off. By other groups of devices, the screen belt or the felt belt are acted upon by a suction force. These devices are designed to be highly wear-resistant on their upper side facing the screen belt or the felt belt against the abrasion caused by the movement of the belts.

Known such devices are formed over the width of the wire belt or the felt belt with supporting elements, which are provided with a highly wear-resistant material, for example of a ceramic material, to which the wire belt or the felt belt come to rest.
If these devices a vacuum source is assigned, it is necessary to bring the suction effect on the largest possible area of the wire belt or the felt belt to the effect. Here, on the one hand, the screen belt or the felt belt should be supported over as large a surface as possible and, on the other hand, those surfaces of the screen belt or felt belt, on which the suction force comes into action, should be as large as possible. This requirement is met in that a carrying device is provided, which is formed with a plurality of juxtaposed or successively arranged and spaced from each other support or stripping elements, wherein the interstices between these support or stripping the passageways for the from the pulp or the paper tape emerging water or for the through the wire belt or the felt belt sucked through air.
Such a device is known from DE 1761174A known.

In papermaking plants, which have at least one screen belt or a felt belt, there is also the requirement to stress the screen belt or the felt belt by tensile forces acting transversely to their directions of movement, by means of which these belts are stretched, whereby their cleaning of fibers, Liquid and the like is relieved. In addition, turbulences are generated by these tensile loads in the paper bands, which affects the paper quality.

The present invention has for its object to provide a device by which this requirement is met. This is achieved according to the invention in that the side of the carrying device facing the wire belt or the felt belt is provided with a wear-resistant support with respect to the movement of the wire belt or the felt belt, the edges facing the support elements transversely to the direction of movement of the wire belt or felt belt are formed to the direction of movement of the wire or the felt belt at an acute angle extending portions, which in particular are wavy.

Preferably, the support elements are formed on their side facing the wire belt or the felt belt side with respect to the movement of the wire belt or the felt belt wear-resistant pads. Furthermore, support elements relative to the support means with respect to their distance relative to the wire belt or the felt belt be adjustable. In this case, a part of the support elements may be rigidly secured to the support means and a part thereof may be adjustable relative to the support means. According to a preferred embodiment, supporting elements are arranged on opposite the wire belt or the felt belt adjustable support strips. In particular, the support elements are arranged side by side on the direction of movement of the wire belt or the felt belt transversely oriented support strips, wherein at least a portion of the support strips relative to the support device is adjustable.

According to a further preferred embodiment, the carrying device is arranged transversely to the direction of movement of the wire belt or the felt belt, wherein it is associated with a drive means by which it is oscillatable transversely to the direction of movement of the wire belt or the felt belt. In this case, the support means may form part of a suction box, wherein preferably the suction box is designed to be oscillatable transversely to the direction of movement by means of the drive means.

Furthermore, the support elements are preferably designed as pipe pieces, in which at the end of the wire or the felt belt facing elements from a relation to the movement of the wire or the felt belt wear-resistant material are used. In this case, the edges of the wire belt or the felt band facing upper sides of the elements can be chamfered, in particular beveled or rounded, be formed and these elements may be formed on the opposite sides with extensions, by means of which they can be inserted into the pipe sections.
Furthermore, these elements may be formed with a surface which is curved relative to the wire belt or the felt belt.

Like this Fig.2 it can be seen, the devices 4 are formed on its side facing the wire 1 with a triangular cross-section support bar 41, on which there is a support frame 42 for a plurality of in the direction of movement A of the wire 1 and transverse thereto juxtaposed support members 43 and 44 , The support frame 42 is releasably secured to the support bar 41. The support members 43 are rigidly fixed to the support frame 42, whereas the support members 44 relative to the support frame 42 in its height relative to the wire 1 are adjustable. Both the frame 42 and the support members 43 and 44 are formed on their side facing the wire 1 with layers 42a, 43a and 44a of a highly wear-resistant material, in particular of a ceramic material.

Like this 2a it can be seen, the suction devices 5 consist of a over the width of the screen belt 1 extending housing 51, within which there is a channel 50 to which a vacuum source is connected. On the side facing the screen belt 1, a support frame 52 is likewise arranged, within which fixedly arranged support elements 53 and adjustable support elements 54 are located. The support frame 52 is also releasably secured to the housing 51. Also, the support frame 52 and the support members 53 and 54 are formed with pads 52a, 53a and 54a of a highly wear-resistant material, in particular of a ceramic material, to which the screen belt 1 comes to rest. The direction of movement of the screen belt 1 is indicated by the arrow A.

Like this 2b it can be seen, the devices 6 consist of a over the width of the felt belts 2 extending tubular housing 61, within which there is a channel 60, to which also a vacuum source is connected. On the side facing the felt belt 2 side of this housing 61 is a housing 61 releasably secured to the support frame 62, within which fixedly arranged support members 63 and relative to the felt belt 2 adjustable support members 64 are located. Both the support frame 62 and the support members 63 and 64 are formed with pads 62a, 63a, 64a of a highly wear-resistant material, in particular of a ceramic material. The direction of movement of the felt 2 is indicated by the arrow B.

Like this from the 3 and 3a it can be seen are at the suction device 5 within the support frame 52 to this rigidly arranged support strips 55 to which the non-adjustable support members 53 are attached, and in their distance from the top of the support frame 52 adjustable support strips 56, to which the adjustable support members 54th are attached. Furthermore, the inner margins 52b of the pads 52a are provided transversely to the direction of movement A of the screen belt 1 with sections running at an acute angle, wherein they are in particular wave-shaped. In addition, the support frame 52 is formed at its the edges of the screen belt 1 associated with sides with transverse to these adjustable parts 57, through which the size of the suction opening is adjustable. These parts 57 are provided with highly wear-resistant pads 57 a.
Like this 3a is also apparent, the front in the direction of movement A of the wire 1 edge of the support 52a is further formed with a wedge-shaped extension 52b, through which the stripping action of the device 5 is improved.

Due to the different heights of the support members 53 and 54, the wire belt 1 is waved during its movement on the support members 53 and 54, whereby it is subjected to tensile loads. By the wavy edges 52b, the screen belt 1 is further subjected in its movement on the support frame 52 with acting in the plane transverse to the direction of movement A tensile loads. Both of these tensile loads causes the impurities and liquids in the belt 1 to be more easily removed therefrom, so that the drainage of liquid from the pulp is facilitated. As a result, the effect of the suction forces exerted on the wire 1 is also significantly improved. In addition, turbulences are generated by these tensile loads in the paper tape, by which the quality of the paper tape is affected.

The support frame 42 of the device 4 according to Fig.2 has the same structure, although no vacuum source is connected to this device.

Like this from the Figure 4 4b, the suction belts 6 associated with the felt belt 2 have a similar construction. Also, there are within the support frame 62 fixed support rails 65 with support members 63 and opposite the felt 2 adjustable support bars 66 with adjustable support members 64 and the edges 62b of the pads 62a formed transversely to the direction B of the felt belts 2 wave-shaped. As a result of the tensile loads exerted thereon on the felt belts 2, they are stretched in several directions as they move over the suction devices 6, whereby impurities and liquids contained in them are more easily removed and the effect of the suction force exerted on the felt belts 2 is increased. As soon as the edges 62b extend in their spacing with respect to the longitudinal axis of the felt belt 2, tensile forces are thereby exerted on the felt belts 2 transversely to their direction of movement, as a result of which wrinkling in the felt belts 2 is prevented. This effect also applies to the identically formed boundaries of the devices 4 and 5 with respect to the screen belt 1.

Like this Figure 5 it can be seen, the support members 43 may be formed as pieces of pipe, which are placed on the support strips 45 by means of mutually associated slots, wherein their attachment to the support bars 45 by means of a screw 47 occurs. In the the wire belt 1 and the felt 2 facing the end of the pipe sections a cap 48 is inserted. For this purpose, the caps 48 are formed with cylindrical extensions, by means of which they are inserted into the pipe sections. The caps 48 are made of a highly wear-resistant material, in particular of a ceramic material. The caps 48 may have different spatial configurations. In particular, they can be chamfered, in particular chamfered, or rounded. In addition, these caps 48 may be formed curved relative to the wire 1.
The movable support members 44 and the support members 53 and 54 as well as the support members 63 and 64 may be formed in the same manner and fixed to fixed or adjustable support bars.

Like this Figure 6 can be seen, the housing 41 of the device 4, as well as for devices 5 and 6, on a support frame 71st transverse to the directions of movement A and B of the wire 1 and the felt belts 2 back and forth in the direction of the double arrow C, where it is associated with a servomotor 72 through which it can be acted upon by an eccentric shaft 73 and a push rod 74 with oscillating movements ,

Alternatively, as stated in 6a is shown, the support frame 42 on the housing 41 in the direction of the double arrow C and herverschiebbar mounted and are granted by the drive motor 72 via the eccentric shaft 73 and the push rod 74 transversely to the directions of movement A of the screen belt 1 oscillating movements C. In the same way, the support frame 52 and 62 can be mounted transversely to the directions of movement A and B of the wire belt 1 and the felt belts 2 slidably.

By such oscillating movements of the support frame and the support elements, the screen belt 1 and the felt belts 2 are claimed reinforced by acting in several directions tensile loads, whereby their effects, esp. Their suction effects are further increased.
