Definitions

  • the invention relates to a vacuum cleaner with a blower unit for generating an air flow and with a deposition chamber into which the contaminated air is introduced and subjected at high speed to a circular motion, wherein the dirt particles fall due to the prevailing heavy and centrifugal forces to the bottom of the deposition chamber.
  • Vacuum cleaners for cleaning rooms are well known both in the private and in the commercial sector. These usually consist of a fan for generating an air flow and a receptacle for the dirt. By generating a negative pressure in the region of the cleaning nozzle, dirt lying on the floor is sucked in with the supply air and conveyed via a hose into the dirt receptacle, where it is separated out of the air stream via a filter.
  • both the blower unit and the dirt receptacle are carried within a mobile housing for the cleaning process.
  • this has the disadvantage that the supply air despite cleaning by the air filter still has dirt particles that are blown with the exhaust air into the room and there are finely distributed.
  • allergy sufferers resulting from this problems.
  • central vacuum cleaners which are arranged stationarily at a certain place in the building and which are connected via an air duct system for the supply air with the various rooms of the building.
  • Another duct for the exhaust air leads directly from the central vacuum to the outside.
  • the central vacuum cleaner generates the necessary vacuum for the cleaning.
  • the dirt becomes the central vacuum with the help of the supply air flow through the air line system transported, where then the separation of dirt and air takes place.
  • the direct discharge of the still residual dust having exhaust air into the open prevents the just cleaned surfaces, even if only slightly contaminated again.
  • the separation chamber consists essentially of a container which is detachably connected to the housing of the central vacuum cleaner. So it is possible to remove the deposition chamber after reaching a certain degree of filling for their emptying of the central vacuum.
  • the Abscheidehunt is carried to emptying through the premises of a building outside, there is a risk that fine dust is whirled up by draft and so again reaches the interior of the living or working spaces to a small extent.
  • the accumulated in the deposition chamber dirt also contains contaminated substances, so that it poses a threat to the people working in the premises and especially for those involved in the maintenance of vacuum cleaners.
  • the invention has the object of further developing the vacuum cleaner mentioned above such that a facilitated and safe disposal of the accumulated dirt is possible.
  • the advantage of the invention consists essentially in the fact that the disposal of the accumulated in the deposition chamber dirt and dust its escape into the ambient air is no longer possible. Thus, a complete disposal of the dirt is guaranteed. This is possible by the hermetic packaging of the dirt with the help of a dirt bag still in the deposition chamber before the sump is removed from the rest of the vacuum cleaner housing. The closure of the dirty bag is done from the outside, so that even the person involved in the disposal does not come at any time in contact with the dirt or dust. Especially for allergy sufferers, this advantage is of great importance, since even the smallest amounts of dust can exert an allergic reaction. Both hygienic and health aspects, the invention therefore represents an optimal solution.
  • the handling of the invention is done in an extremely simple manner by pulling on the tension element, whereby the locking mechanism is actuated on the dirt bag. Subsequently, the dirt bag can be removed from the vacuum cleaner housing and disposed of after detachment of the deposition chamber. Since the inner walls of the deposition chamber no longer come into contact with the dirt, because they are covered by the dirt bag, also eliminates the subsequent cleaning of the deposition chamber.
  • the locking mechanism consists of a tension member, for example in the form of a string, a wire or tape, which is guided around the dirt bag and by pulling the closure of the dirty bag takes place.
  • a tension member for example in the form of a string, a wire or tape, which is guided around the dirt bag and by pulling the closure of the dirty bag takes place.
  • the tension members advantageously run within guides on the dirt bag so that both the closure itself and the location where the bag is sealed are clearly defined.
  • the guides can be formed by holes in the dirt bag as well as by a tubular receptacle around the dirt bag. For both embodiments, it is possible to arrange the guides on the edge forming the opening of the dirty bag and also below it in the jacket area. In order to allow the closing mechanism to be operated from the outside, the pulling elements protrude from the separating chamber or the housing of the vacuum cleaner at least with part of their length.
  • the attachment of the dirty bag is done in the simplest case by clamping the upper edge of the dirty bag between the upper edge of the deposition chamber and the lower edge of the vacuum cleaner housing.
  • the tension elements are in this variant with its entire length outside of the deposition chamber, so that in this case, the clamping must be canceled before operating the locking mechanism.
  • the one or more tension elements are within the deposition chamber, wherein only the one or the ends necessary for actuation are guided outside the separation chamber. This can be done through openings in the deposition chamber or the blower unit or between these components. As a result, an immediate closing of the dirty bag is possible without having to pick up the clamp between separation chamber and fan unit before.
  • the closing mechanism is coupled to the blower unit in such a way that the dirt bag is closed without further action when the full separation chamber is removed. This can be achieved, for example, in that the one or more of the ends of the one or more tension members provided for actuating the closing mechanism are fastened to the fan unit.
  • the attachment is designed such that it releases the tension members upon reaching a predetermined tensile force. This can be done for example by a clamping connection with adjustable clamping force or by a predetermined breaking point in the tension member.
  • the arrangement proves to be two parallel traction elements whose operating ends are diametrically opposed. By simultaneously pulling on both actuator ends, the closure of the dirty bag is optimized.
  • the arrangement of stiffening elements is provided, which hold the dirt bag in the deposition chamber in the spread state.
  • the stiffening elements may be formed for example by reinforced areas of the dirty bag.
  • Fig. 1 If one sees a central vacuum cleaner 1, the housing 2 is broken in the illustration shown at several points in order to make visible the essential components in the interior. In the head region of the central vacuum cleaner 1, one or more blower units 3 is arranged to generate a negative pressure. In operation, air is drawn through the filter 6 and attached to the housing 2 air inlet port 19. By a not further shown piping system which is acted upon by dirt particles air 5 reaches the air inlet port 19th
  • the air is sucked through the filter element 6 and cleaned.
  • the cleaned exhaust air 27 is now funded by the one or more blower units 3 and led through an air outlet 4 via a line not shown directly to the outside.
  • a barrel-shaped deposition chamber 7 Farther down to the housing 2 connects to a barrel-shaped deposition chamber 7. About the laterally mounted tension locks 8 of the deposition chamber 7 is airtight and releasably connected to the housing 2.
  • the separation chamber 7 is lined on the inside with a loose dirt bag 9, the upper edge of which extends beyond the upper edge 13 of the separation chamber 7 and is clamped between the housing 2 and the deposition chamber 7.
  • the upper edge of the dirty bag 9 is hose-like bordered for performing a cord-shaped tension member 10, which in particular from the Fig. 2 and 4 is apparent.
  • Fig. 2 is in a vertical section of the region of the deposition chamber 7 and the upwardly adjoining housing 2 clearly shown.
  • the deposition chamber 7 hangs over two open clamping closures 8 on the housing 2. Since the clamping closures 8 are opened, a small gap 11 results between the housing 2 and the deposition chamber 7, so that the clamping is released.
  • the separation chamber 7 is loosely lined with the dirt bag 9, as described in more detail in FIG Fig. 4 is shown.
  • the dirt bag 9 which consists of a plastic film or a cellulosic material that is either airtight or impermeable at least for fine dust particles.
  • Below the bag 9 is tightly closed, while the top 17 has the opening over its entire circumference.
  • the opening 17 forming edge of the bag 9 is fringed bordered to form a tubular guide and receptacle 14 in which the tension members 10 and 15 are parallel to each other.
  • At diametrically opposite points has the tubular receptacle 14 passages 18 through which the tension members 10 and 15 are each performed over a portion of their length.
  • the tension elements 10 and 15 each form a closed loop.
  • the dirt bag 9 clothes the deposition chamber 7 completely and depends with its upper edge over the upper edge 13 of the deposition chamber 7 down.
  • the dirt bag 9 is already filled with dirt particles 16 up to the intended filling level.
  • the two tension locks 8 are opened, so that the still clamped in the operating state between the housing 2 and the deposition chamber 7 edge of the dirty bag 9 is released.
  • ends of the tension members 10 and 15 is as already described a trimming of the dirty bag 9 instead.
  • the separation chamber 6 can be completely decoupled from the housing 2 and the dirt bag 9 removed and disposed of.
  • FIG. 3 An alternative to the in Fig. 2 shown embodiment of the invention is in Fig. 3 shown.
  • the same reference numerals as in the Fig. 1 . 2 and 4 used. It can be seen again the lower portion of the housing 2 to which a slightly modified Abscheidehunt 20 connects downwards.
  • the deposition chamber 20 has in its upper half at two diametrically opposite locations openings 23 and is connected by means of two acting between the housing 2 and the deposition chamber 20 clamping screws 21 fixed to the vacuum cleaner 1. By loosening the seated on the clamping screws 21 wing nuts 22, the connection between the deposition chamber 9 and housing 2 can be solved.
  • the deposition chamber 20 is lined in its interior by the dirt bag 24, which is filled to about half with dirt particles 16.
  • Adhesive strips 28 are attached to the upper edge of the dirty bag, which adhere to the inside of the deposition chamber 20.
  • Approximately in the upper third of the dirty bag 24 is a over the entire circumference extending tubular receptacle 25 is arranged, which has openings 26 at two diametrically opposite locations.
  • the tension elements 10 and 15 which are performed with a part of their length first through the openings 26 from the receptacle 25 and further through the openings 23 from the deposition chamber 20.
  • the hanging from the deposition chamber 20 ends of the tension members 10 and 15 are pulled in the opposite direction.
  • a complete closing of the dirty bag 24 occurs without the separating chamber 20 having to be detached from the housing 2 of the vacuum cleaner 1. Only after closing the dirty bag 24, the clamping screws 21 are released and the separation chamber 20 removed from the vacuum cleaner 1. Now the closed dirt bag 24 can be removed for its disposal.
  • the hanging still from the openings 23 traction elements 10 and 15 slide through the openings 23rd
