Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a contact arrangement for an electrical switching device, in particular a low-voltage load switch, with an actuating part for receiving a contact and a contact associated with this other, stationary Contact.
Electrical switching devices are widely used in practice. For load-switching devices these are especially those devices that are normal loads and overloading. However, such devices do not have their own Short-circuit breaking capacity on. Under this aspect are circuit breakers known. In the event of a short circuit, load switching devices are replaced by devices with a Short-circuit breaking capacity protected. These are often backups, which may also be part of the switching device, so-called Load switch with fuses.
Contact systems for such requirements usually consist of a Arrangement of contacts in which the contact surfaces are substantially perpendicular are arranged to the direction of movement. This concerns arrangements with two fixed contacts and a bridge contact or arrangements with a Fixed contact in combination with a rotatably mounted movable contact piece, that on the side facing away from the contact via strands or via conductive Bearing elements is contacted.
Critical in such arrangements, the optimization of the different Use cases. So must turn on and off in addition to the functions also the function isolate (off) and current carry (on) safely fulfilled become. This is especially true after various arc stresses through switching operations. Pretty good features can be passed through here However, contact pads on silver based on the switch contacts reach, however often considerably increase the cost of a switching device.
A contact arrangement of the type mentioned is for example from the EP 0 496 213 A1. There is a stätionärer contact on both sides of in different rectilinear, movable actuators spring-loaded contacts applied. Both the fixed contact and the movable contacts are plate-shaped. The contact area in which the switching of the Contact occurs, at the same time after switching the current-carrying Area dar. This contact arrangement thus has the above Disadvantages.
A contact arrangement of the aforementioned type is also known from DE 30 10th 579 A1 known. Also there on opposite sides of a stationary Contact moving contacts with this together. However, the Do not contact by moving the movable plates perpendicular to the plate plane be moved in the direction of the stationary contact, but in the plane of the plate. Also in this contact arrangement is no separation of a switching range and a current carrying region of the contacts.
A contact arrangement in which different areas are provided, which is clearly assigned the functions switching and current carrying is from EP 0 890 969 A2. However, this does not affect contact arrangement using an actuator to receive a consequently movable contact in order to contact another, stationary contact, but a contact body for receiving a contact blade of a Fuse link. This contact body has a at the onset of Fuse insert in the slot of the contact body leading area, which has the function of a switching contact, as well as this area lagging area, which has the function of a permanent contact. The permanent contact takes place in frontal areas of the contact body sheet.
The object of the invention is to provide a contact arrangement of the aforementioned To create kind, which has easy to produce elements, whereby the unavoidable Arc erosion of the switching operations the current carrying capacity or the contact resistance of the closed contact arrangement is not negative impaired. The contact arrangement should also, without special contact pads, Provide high reliability (low heating) with power management.
The problem is solved in a contact arrangement in the aforementioned Type in that the contact arrangement comprises two areas, which clearly the functions switching and current are assigned, whereby the Switching range of an end face of the one contact and a counter surface of the associated with other contact, and the current-carrying area wedge-shaped arranged surfaces of one contact and mating surfaces of the other Contact, which are arranged in a corresponding wedge shape associated with.
In the contact arrangement according to the invention, the switching work on the Front side of a contact provided while the power supply of the closed contacts via the contact edges, the wedge-shaped are arranged. The wedge shape leads here to a strong increase in force on the Contact surface, at relatively low forces for the operation of the system, specifically of the control part. Wear problems are not expected, because hardly any Arc erosion occurs at these contact surfaces. It does not occur therefore Disadvantage as in the parallel contact with safety cutters on; there can strong fluctuations in the coefficient of friction of the contact arrangement the power requirement not sure about a switching mechanism.
The contact arrangement according to the invention can be used in different systems be realized. So there is the possibility of the contact arrangement as Bridge contact arrangement with two identical stationary contacts train. There are multi-pole contact arrangements conceivable, wherein at these the stationary contacts preferably in a common control part are stored. The actuator is in particular adjustable in a straight line and consequently designed as a slide. It is also conceivable, the control part to rotate store, making the switching of the contact arrangement is not a straight line Movement, but a rotational movement of the actuator is brought about.
According to a preferred embodiment, the movable contact a trapezoidal cross-section or a trapezoidal outer contour. He thus presents itself as a trapezoidal contact. Advantageously, the contact is resilient in the Positioned control part. About this spring, this contact is against the other, stationary contact pressed in order to conduct electricity.
While the movable contact is preferably formed as a solid body is considered advantageous with respect to stationary contact, when it is formed as a plate body. Because of this design, this can Contact can be bent and punched at will, especially around the side Plate areas and a central, bent out of the plate plane Plate area to form. The facing end faces of the lateral Plate areas are arranged wedge-shaped to one another and form the current-carrying Counter surfaces of this contact, while the bent-out plate area designed in the manner of a lobe, which is the switching counter surface of this Forms contact.
The bent-out flap is on the side facing away from the contact area Side preferably loaded by force, for example by one-sided manner mounted leaf spring rests against a housing projection of the switching device and so the resilience of the switching tab during insertion of the movable Contactes limited in the switching range. The switching is thus under a bias, that is sufficiently high contact force between the Lobe of the stationary contact and the opposite surface of the movable Contact.
