Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a cascaded electric lamp module with one or two elongate fluorescent tubes.
  • the luminaire module can be constructed by joining with other luminaire modules, which are electrically connected to each other with plug-in connection means, to a light band selectable length.
  • Each luminaire module has at both ends an end piece, in which electrical connection elements are housed, which interact with the connecting means.
  • the luminaire module contains an electronic ballast.
  • the fluorescent tubes are inserted between tube holders.
  • Such luminaire modules as a single element or light strips are typically found in the lighting of corridors, entrance zones, production, business and care facilities or in the home.
  • Luminaire modules of the genus in question for example, in the patent publications US 5,226,724 and US 5,521,805 as well as the DE 101 15 846 and the company publications "Novelties - Novelties 2002" of REGIOLUX GmbH, D-97486 Königsberg, Germany; and "T4 & T5 Ultra Slim Series” of COBOTEX Inc., Quebec, H9A 3G8, Canada.
  • These luminaire modules can not yet be considered perfect.

Description

Anwendungsgebiet der ErfindungField of application of the invention

The present invention relates to a cascaded electric lamp module with one or two elongate fluorescent tubes. The luminaire module can be constructed by joining with other luminaire modules, which are electrically connected to each other with plug-in connection means, to a light band selectable length. Each luminaire module has at both ends an end piece, in which electrical connection elements are housed, which interact with the connecting means. The luminaire module contains an electronic ballast. The fluorescent tubes are inserted between tube holders. Such luminaire modules as a single element or light strips are typically found in the lighting of corridors, entrance zones, production, business and care facilities or in the home. Here it is often desirable to generate light over a greater length uniformly and controlled differently, depending on the time of day or area radiate. In this case, an efficient, cost-effective production, a rational installation and an architecturally appealing design are required.

Stand der TechnikState of the art

Luminaire modules of the genus in question, for example, in the patent publications US 5,226,724 and US 5,521,805 as well as the DE 101 15 846 and the company publications "Novelties - Novelties 2002" of REGIOLUX GmbH, D-97486 Königsberg, Germany; and "T4 & T5 Ultra Slim Series" of COBOTEX Inc., Quebec, H9A 3G8, Canada. These luminaire modules can not yet be considered perfect. The disadvantage is that only a limited interconnection is made possible and this part of a considerable installation effort must be driven. Unsatisfactorily solved is often the problem of greater shadowing between adjacent fluorescent tubes, which obviously does not permit even radiation.

Aufgabe der ErfindungObject of the invention

In view of the previous unfulfilled demands, the invention has for its object to create a pluggable luminaire module in the smallest possible dimension, the functionality of which allows advanced applications and interconnections and can be efficiently produced in series and benefits projecting and mounting side. In addition, the shadow formation in a light band is to be reduced to a barely perceptible minimum.

Übersicht über die ErfindungOverview of the invention

The cascading electrical module is fitted with one or two elongate fluorescent tubes. The first luminaire module can be constructed by joining with other luminaire modules, which are electrically connected to each other with plug-in connection means, to a light band selectable length. Each luminaire module has at both ends an end piece, in which electrical connection elements are housed, which interact with the connecting means. The luminaire module contains an electronic ballast. The fluorescent tube is held between tube holders. The characteristic is that in the end pieces, a first level and a second level are housed. At least in one of the planes, an electrical connection member is provided at the input and output sides. In the luminaire module, the input and output side connection elements of the respective plane are through-wired with each other. On the first level, the output-side connection element of the first luminaire module can be electrically connected to the input-side connection element of the next luminaire module with the connection means. If the second level is equipped with connection elements, the output-side connection element of the first luminaire module can be electrically connected to the input-side connection element of the next luminaire module with the connection means. Each side of each lanyard is exclusively compatible with a single, associated connector.

The following features relate to specific embodiments of the invention: The operating current in the first lamp module is fed via a power supply line and a first input plug, which is compatible only to the input side, preferably arranged in the first plane connecting member. The remaining second level is closed on the input and output side or has connection elements whose input member is connected via a second supply line and a second input plug. The second supply line and the second level serve to control the first luminaire module and / or the control and power supply of the other connected luminaire modules. For the closure of the second level, it is preferable to have walls which are to be broken out, which allow the insertion of the connecting elements provided for this purpose after removal. The connecting members are insertable into the end pieces and fixed therein by snapping jacks. The connecting means for the closest possible, flush connection of the first lamp module with other lighting modules are one-piece coupling elements with a tap and a thereto axially aligned feed, between each of which lies a central part. The connecting means for connecting the first lamp module with other lamp modules at a distance or at an angle to each other, are connecting cable with plugs at both ends, which are each connected to a preferably flexible cable piece.

The tube socket has a socket part and a foot arranged underneath, which is clipped onto the top surface of the end pieces, preferably the foot is sunk in the top surface. For the arrangement of two fluorescent tubes on a lamp module, a frame holder is provided with a foot from the both sides in the longitudinal extension direction of the lamp module or transversely thereto, depending on a branch of a connecting web, at the ends socket holders for inserting the tube sockets are available , The directly mounted on the top surface, adjacent tube holders of two adjacent mutually aligned lamp modules or the frame shots of adjacent Socket holders, at least in principle abut each other on the two adjacent lamp modules with their end faces, whereby the shadow area between the coaxial fluorescent tubes of adjacent lamp modules is minimized.

In the attached directly to the top surface, adjacent tube sockets of two adjacent mutually aligned luminaire modules, the outer faces of the tubular sockets come to protrude with projection in front of the end face of the respective tail, and in the presence of coupling elements so caused by the middle parts distance between bridged the verkuppelten tails. When using socket holders with two branches of a connecting web and each sitting socket receptacle, projects from the socket holder on the first lamp module a branch in the area of the adjacent lamp module and pushes there frontally with the socket recording on the frame holder of the holder on the next lamp module at least in principle together , In the top surface of the end pieces holding contours and undercuts are present, which cooperate with complementary holding contours at the foot of the tube socket or the holder holder and ensure a latched fixation of the components on the tail. The foot comes to rest in a recess in the top surface.

The second level in the end pieces is intended for all interconnected lamp modules and fluorescent tubes used therein for dimming or emergency power supply or group circuit or emergency power supply and simultaneous group circuit. When using a controller, the second level can also be used for dimming and simultaneous group switching.

The tail is a piece of pipe of basically square cross-section. First there is a main part with the bottom and the top surface, between which extend the two side walls, the main part has the front end face and ends at the back with the stop surface, which one after down-directed U-shape forms. To the main part closes axially a profile clamping zone with the continuing from the main part floor and extending from the side walls about half-height continuing wall webs which end up with a respective top edge at which the stop surface runs, whereby the profile clamping zone is open at the top. In each case a side groove at the transition between the bottom and the side walls or the wall webs is present. On the left and on the right side wall horizontally in a half-height position extending in each case an angular cross-sectional first locking rib which extends with a supernatant into the region of the profile clamping zone and exits above the respective upper edge of the associated wall web. Below each of the first locking rib is in each case a pair of second locking ribs, which are parallel to each other and end at about half the length of the main part. In the bottom of the profile clamping zone a recess is present. In the top surface, in addition to the retaining contours and undercuts for fixing the tube socket or the socket holder and the recess for inserting the foot of the components wire through holes. Further, the top surface unlocking holes for unlocking a usable in the first level locking element. A protruding into the recess nose serves as a support of the foot in the direction of the lamp module. At the pointing into the interior of the tail underside of the top surface is a rib which terminates in the plane of the end face of the tail and forms an additional stop for the insertion depth of the connecting members of the first level.

Between the end pieces, a hollow housing profile of substantially rectangular cross section is used. This profile has a bottom with an internally of the housing profile centrally, longitudinally extending, raised reinforcing rib, which has a groove on the upper side. In each case in the area of the reinforcing rib and near the two ends of the housing profile, there is an outwardly facing nose. Between the two noses, in the area of the reinforcing rib lies a keyhole-shaped contoured opening.

The top surface of the profile has a topside reflection structure. In each case between the bottom and the top surface extends a side wall, each having a lower part, which adjoins the floor. The upper part of the side walls merges into the top surface. The profile has in both side walls an axially running ledge, which forms the transition between the lower, narrower part and the upper, wider part of the walls. There is also a respective retaining rib at the transition between the bottom and the adjacent lower parts of the side walls.

In the assembled state with the two end pieces and the housing profile, the down, present at the bottom of the bottom of the housing profile lugs are engaged in the complementary recesses in the profile clamping zone of the end pieces. The two-sided retaining ribs from the housing profile come to lie positively in the side grooves of the respective end piece, and a front portion of the housing profile with the bottom and the two lower side wall portions is encompassed by the profile clamping zone. Of the ledges of the housing profile, the undersides lie on the upper edges of both wall webs of the tail, and the two first locking ribs of the tail are on the tops of the ledge on. The front edge formed by the housing profile through the upper side wall portions and the ceiling abuts against the abutment surface of the main part of the end piece. Thus, the axial and side-stable cohesion of housing profile and end pieces is effected.

A per se known retaining clip is provided, by means of which the complete lamp module in a known per se, at least semitransparent channel, therein longitudinally slidably engaged with a defined force, is attached. Alternatively, the retaining clip is used to fasten the luminaire module to a rear wall with a defined force and slidably locked in place. Finally, with the retaining clips, a luminaire module can be firmly connected to another luminaire module. For this purpose, a fixed cross-connection between a retaining clip locked on the first luminaire module and a retaining clip locked on the further luminaire module is produced. The locking of the retaining clips must be at least opposite to the direction to separate assembled lamp modules, set up, for. B. by abutment on the free outer edge of the housing profile comprehensive profile clamping zone of the tail. To cover the channel a snap-on lid is available. Corner connectors are provided for laying a curved channel section between straight pieces of the channel.

In an alternative embodiment, the cascaded electric lamp module, which in turn has one or two elongated fluorescent tubes, connected to another lamp module. The first luminaire module forms a pair with plug-in connection means with the second luminaire module. Each luminaire module has at both ends an end piece, in which electrical connection elements are housed, which interact with the connecting means. The first luminaire module contains a dual electronic ballast. The fluorescent tubes are held between tube holders. The characteristic here is that in the end pieces, a first level and a second level are housed. The first luminaire module basically has on the input side only in one of the planes an electrical connection element and on the output side has identical connection elements in both planes. The second lamp module has only on the input side in the respective plane an identical connection member, while the output-side end of the second lamp module is blind, so contains no connection organs. The operating current is in the first lamp module via a power supply line and a first input plug, which is compatible only to the input side, preferably arranged in the first plane connecting member fed.

In der Ebene B steckt der Abgriff 51 des unteren Kupplungselements 5 in der Ausgangsbuchse 17 ersten Leuchtenmoduls 1 und die Zuführung 52 in der Eingangsbuchse 15 des nächsten Leuchtenmoduls 1.This sequence of figures schematically illustrates the joining of two lamp modules 1, 1 by means of the coupling elements 4, 5. The two end pieces 13, 13 ' and the outer surfaces of the two tube sockets 11, 11' come very close together, so that the interruption of the light band formed by the fluorescent tubes 10, 10 is minimized. Proportionally, the distance which occupy the two tube sockets 11,11 'used for parallel placement of the middle parts 40,50 of the two superposed coupling elements 4,5 . Figuren 17 bis 21FIGS. 17 to 21

In this sequence of figures, the assembly of one or more interconnected lamp modules 1 in a channel 8 or freely on a supporting structure, in particular a building wall, is shown. This is also on the former Patent Application DE 101 15 846 A1 the applicant referred.

Figur 17FIG. 17

The advantageously made of plastic channel 8 is in vertical cross-section in principle U-shaped and has the bottom 80 and the two rising from it Side walls 81 , which continue in an outwardly angled wings 82 . The wings 82 terminate in a thickening 83 . At the confluence of the side walls 81 in the bottom 80 is in each case an outer groove 805 , which is undercut by a nose 804 . On the inside, the bottom 80 has centrally a longitudinal groove 800 and on both sides thereof a clamping rail 801 with an undercut 802. Both clamping rails 801 and undercuts 802 face each other. At least between a clamping rails 801 and the adjacent thereto side wall 81 is a hollowed-out cable channel 803.

Figur 18FIG. 18

The retaining clip 19 is in principle likewise of U-shaped configuration and has the middle base 190 and the side webs 193 extending therefrom on both sides, which pass over into wings 195 which are angled outwards. On the side bars 193 is in each case an inwardly raised cam 194 . In the plate-like base 190 there is a centrally positioned hole 196 and a protruding from its outer edge nose 191 , which can be bent in an upright or horizontal position. Furthermore, two tabs 192 located in the lateral outer regions 190 are punched out of the base 190 , which extend below the base 190 open to the outside.

Figuren 19A bis 20BFIGS. 19A to 20B

When using the channel 8 , the retaining clips 19 are placed transversely with their base 190 on the two clamping rails 801 at the bottom 80 of the channel 8 and placed with their tabs 192 into the undercuts 802 . Here, the downwardly bent nose 191 comes to lie transversely in the longitudinal groove 800 , so that the position of each inserted retaining clip 19 is additionally stabilized by the friction and spring force between the tabs 192 and the clamping rails 801 addition. When inserting a lamp module 1 with the housing profile 18 , the cams 194 engage elastically on the side webs 193 of the retaining clip 19 on the retaining ribs 184 present on both sides and thereby fix the housing profile 18 introduced into the channel 8 , which is the essential jacket of the luminaire module 1 . The luminaire module 1 may be equipped with simple tube sockets 11, 11 ' and is thus equipped with a single fluorescent tube 10 (see Figures 6A, 14A, 20A). Alternatively, the luminaire module 1 is provided with double socket holders 12, 12 ' and thus pairwise socket receptacles 120 , so that two fluorescent tubes 10 are inserted (see FIGS. 6C, 13A, 13B, 20B). For closing the channel 8 , a manhole cover 9 is provided, the plate part 90 spans the open side of the channel 8 . The two-sided enclosure 91 on the manhole cover 9 can be snapped onto the thickenings 83 on the channel 8 elastically.

Figur 21FIG. 21

If you want to install a lamp module 1 without the channel 8 , a required number of retaining clips 19 are attached with their respective base 190 through the holes 196 through the building. The tabs 192 and the now just bent nose 191 ' now have no function per se. A lamp module 1 with its housing profile 18 can be snapped in the same way on the example screwed or dowelled retaining clips 19 , the cams 194 again engage elastically on the side webs 193 of the retaining clips 19 on both sides existing retaining ribs 184 of the housing profile 18 .
