Abstract

Ein Vorlagebehälter (1) für pulverförmige Medien, insbesondere für Lackpulver, umfaßt ein Gehäuse (2), das mindestens einen Einlaß (4) und einen Auslaß (8, 9) aufweist. Im Innenraum des Gehäuses (2) befindet sich in Abstand von dessen Boden (2c) ein Fluidisierungsboden (5) aus porösem, von Luft durchströmbarem Material. Auf diese Weise wird zwischen dem Fluidisierungsboden (5) und dem Boden (2c) des Gehäuses ein Druckraum (6) gebildet, der mit Druckluft beaufschlagbar ist. Um die Menge der zur Fluidisierung benötigten Druckluft zu reduzieren und die mechanische Beanspruchung des in fluidisiertem Zustand befindlichen pulverförmigen Mediums klein zu halten, verjüngt sich der Querschnitt des Gehäuses (2) nach unten auf den Fluidisierungsboden (5) zu. Diese Gehäuseform erzeugt außerdem eine Wirbelströmung im fluidisierten pulverförmigen Medium, welche dessen Durchmischung fördert.
