- the main advantage of the invention is the high machanical strength reached by the net, both under static and impulsive stimulus: the junction according to the invention holds the ropes together like a ligament where they cross over and it forms a whole which is impossible to be divided into portions.
- Another advantage is the excellent life expectancy of of the junction, being formed by massive elements.
- the knot can be formed by means of relatively simple tools, such as presses, with screwers or riveters .
- the net formed with knots according to the invention has also the advantage of being easily rolled up, also in coils with a small diameter, practically the one of the rope, which is important as far the transport and use while operating is concerned.
- the junction binds the ropes firmly together without affecting their machanical strength. This is achieved because all the elements of the junction act on the ropes according to geodetic curves perpendicular to the axe of the ropes and to the direction of the rope twisting helix.

Claims (9)
- Procédé de fabrication de noeuds de filets de retenue, tels que des barrières pare-pierres et des barrières paravalanches, dans lequel un noeud (4) comprend une première et une deuxième cordes (2, 3) se croisant l'une au-dessus de l'autre et une jonction (6) reliant lesdites cordes dans une zone de croisement donnée, le procédé consistant à : placer un premier et un deuxième éléments en U (7, 8) à cheval sur ladite première corde (2), chaque élément en U ayant une base courbe semi-circulaire (7a, 8a) et la même orientation et étant situé à côté de ladite deuxième corde (3) sur les côtés opposés de chaque élément en U ; relier les extrémités (7d, 7e) du premier élément en U (7) aux extrémités (8d, 8e) du deuxième élément en U (8) au moyen d'au moins un élément de pont (9) recouvrant ladite deuxième corde (3) ; et fixer à l'aide d'un dispositif de fixation ledit élément de pont (9) sur ladite deuxième corde (3), ledit procédé étant caractérisé en ce que le rayon de l'intrados de la base courbe semi-circulaire (7a, 8a) est défini pour représenter environ la moitié du diamètre de la corde et en ce que durant l'étape de fixation à l'aide du dispositif de fixation, les cordes (2, 3) sont pressées l'une contre l'autre en correspondance avec leur zone de croisement, grâce au déplacement des fils de contact, en réduisant leur épaisseur totale d'une valeur comprise entre 1 et 4/3 du diamètre (d) des cordes de telle sorte que les cordes (2, 3) soient amenées sensiblement dans le même plan au niveau de chaque noeud (4) du filet (1).
- Noeud (4) d'un filet de retenue (1), tel qu'une barrière pare-pierres ou une barrière paravalanches et des barrières similaires, du type comprenant une première et une deuxième cordes (2, 3) se croisant l'une au-dessus de l'autre et une jonction (6) permettant de relier les cordes ensemble, dans lequel ladite jonction (6) comprend un premier et un deuxième éléments en U (7, 8) à cheval sur ladite première corde (2), avec des ailes orientées de la même façon près de la deuxième corde (3) sur les côtés opposés de chaque élément, un premier et un deuxième éléments de pont (9) reliant les extrémités (7d, 7e) des ailes (7b, 7c) du premier élément en U (7) aux extrémités adjacentes (8d, 8e) des ailes (8b, 8c) du deuxième élément en U (8), et recouvrant la deuxième corde (3) ; et un dispositif de fixation (10, 20) permettant de fixer ledit premier élément de pont (9) sur la deuxième corde (3), caractérisé en ce que le deuxième élément de pont (9) comprend un élément cintré (9d) qui fusionne avec les extrémités adjacentes (7d, 8d) des premier et deuxième éléments en U (7, 8) et qui est solidaire de celles-ci pour former une pièce unique (11) et en ce que ladite pièce unique (11) a une distance donnée (h) mesurée entre la tangente (t9) au niveau d'un intrados de l'élément cintré (9d) de l'élément de pont (9) et le plan défini par les tangentes (t7, t8) au niveau de l'intrados des bases courbes (7a, 8a) du premier élément en U (7) et du deuxième élément en U (8), dans lequel ladite distance donnée (h) est comprise entre 1 et 4/3 du diamètre de la corde (d) et dans lequel le premier élément en U (7) et le deuxième élément en U (8) ont des bases courbes semi-circulaires (7a, 8a) avec un rayon d'intrados (R) qui représente environ la moitié du diamètre de la corde (d) et dans lequel le dispositif de fixation (20) comprend deux têtes (21, 22) formées par rivetage en correspondance avec les extrémités (7e, 8e) des deux ailes (7b, 8b) dudit élément en U (7, 8).
- Noeud (4) selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que ledit élément de pont (9) comprend un élément cintré (9d) reliant une extrémité (7d) d'une aile (7b) de l'élément en U (7) à une extrémité adjacente (8d) d'une aile (8b) du deuxième élément en U (8).
- Noeud (4) selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que ledit élément cintré (9d) est solidaire dudit premier élément en U (7) et dudit deuxième élément en U (8).
- Noeud (4) selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que ledit premier élément de pont (9) comprend un élément d'accouplement (9e) reliant une extrémité (7e) d'une aile (7c) du premier élément en U (7) à une extrémité adjacente (8e) d'une aile (8c) du deuxième élément en U (8).
- Jonction (6) permettant de relier deux cordes (2, 3) ensemble pour former un noeud (4) d'un filet de retenue (1), tel qu'une barrière pare-roches ou une barrière paravalanches et des barrières similaires, comprenant un premier et un deuxième éléments en U (7, 8), disposés côte à côte et orientés de la même façon, un premier et un deuxième éléments de pont (9) reliant les extrémités (7d, 7e) du premier élément en U (7) aux extrémités adjacentes (8d, 8e) du deuxième élément en U (8), utilisés pour fermer les éléments en U, et un dispositif de fixation (10, 20) dudit premier élément de pont caractérisé en ce que le deuxième élément de pont (9) comprend un élément cintré (9d) qui fusionne avec les extrémités adjacentes (7d, 8d) des premier et deuxième éléments en U (7, 8) et qui est solidaire de celles-ci pour former une pièce unique (11) et en ce que ladite pièce unique (11) a une distance donnée (h) mesurée entre la tangente (t9) au niveau d'un intrados de l'élément cintré (9d) de l'élément de pont (9) et le plan défini par les tangentes (t7, t8) au niveau de l'intrados des bases courbes (7a, 8a) du premier élément en U (7) et du deuxième élément en U (8), dans lequel ladite distance donnée (h) est comprise entre 1 et 4/3 du diamètre de la corde (d) et dans lequel le premier élément en U (7) et le deuxième élément en U (8) ont des bases courbes semi-circulaires avec un rayon d'intrados (R) qui représente environ la moitié du diamètre de la corde (d) et dans lequel le dispositif de fixation (20) comprend deux têtes (21, 22) formées par rivetage en correspondance avec les extrémités (7e, 8e) des deux ailes (7b, 8b) desdits éléments en U (7, 8).
- Jonction (6) selon la revendication 6, caractérisée en ce que ledit élément de pont (9) comprend un élément cintré (9d) reliant une extrémité (7d) d'une aile (7b) du premier élément en U (7) à une extrémité adjacente (8d) d'une aile (8b) du deuxième élément en U (8).
- Jonction (6) selon la revendication 7, caractérisée en ce que ledit élément cintré (9d) est solidaire dudit premier élément en U (7) et dudit deuxième élément en U (8).
- Jonction (6) selon la revendication 8, caractérisée en ce que ledit élément de pont (9) comprend un élément d'accouplement (9e) reliant une extrémité (7e) d'une aile (7c) du premier élément en U (7) à une extrémité adjacente (8e) d'une aile (8c) du deuxième élément en U (8).
