Definitions
- the present invention relates generally to a profile of swimming pool paving, and more particularly a paving profile of swimming pool intended to constitute a peripheral edge of a swimming pool.
- the invention therefore proposes to remedy the drawbacks presented above.
- a pool paving profile characterized in that it comprises: a first arc-shaped part; and a second part in the form of hook intended to be clipped onto a liner hanging rail swimming pool.
- a paving profile of swimming pool 10 which comprises: a first arc-shaped part 1; and an second hook-shaped part 2 intended to be clipped onto a rail for hanging swimming pool liner 4 (which is known per se).
- one of the objects essential of the invention is to be able to very easily carry out a pool basin surround by removing the coping traditional and instead pouring concrete in one single operation in order to constitute both the concrete equivalent of traditional coping and traditional paving or a beach traditional surrounding these copings, this in one piece.
- the first arc-shaped part 1 is formed in one piece with the second hook-shaped part 2, i.e. that the whole is produced according to a single material profile plastic which is manufactured, in a well known conventional manner, according to linear sections of constant profile and of great length, by example of 5 m or 10 m.
- the first arc-shaped part 1 has its convex arc-shaped direction from the inside 7 (that is to say towards the pool 7) of the swimming pool.
- the first part in the form arc 1 further comprises, at its upper edge 5 a third part 3 in one piece which is arranged more outside with respect to the arc-shaped bet 1 which is bent downwards compared to the highest part 5 of the first shaped part arc 1, this third bet 3 is thus intended to constitute a anchor which can be embedded in cement or concrete 6 poured against the paving profile up to substantially the level of the part highest 5 of the first arc-shaped part 1, where it follows that when said cement or concrete 6 has set, said third part 3 is embedded in this cement and said first arc-shaped part 1 is securely held in position without this first part in the shape of an arc 1 need not offer in itself a solidity or intrinsic rigidity.
- Concrete 6 can be concrete identical to concrete which is poured in the lost formwork of the vertical walls of the pool, or there may be different, in order to constitute a pool surround more beautiful and / or more pleasant.
- this concrete may include colored particles.
- the profile of swimming pool paving is made of plastic, preferably chlorinated polyvinyl (commonly called PVC).
- the liner attachment rail 4 (which is known in self) to hang a pool liner 8, for use with a swimming pool paving profile 10 according to the invention, must be slightly modified from its conventional known form.
- this rail 4 includes a base horizontal 41, a front edge extending vertically downwards 42, a rear edge extending vertically downward 43 and a horizontal return 44. Parts 41, 42, 43 and 44 together form a rail which is intended to come to fit horizontally on the edge horizontal of a lost formwork 72 (known per se), preferably in dense expanded polystyrene, intended for the construction of walls side of the pool.
- a housing 45 is formed on the rail 4 for accommodate an upper edge of a liner 8 (as shown in the figure 1).
- This housing 45 which is used to hang the liner 8 is constituted (figure 3) by a vertical wall 47 extending from the top of the part 41 and by a horizontal wall 48 extending from the top of the wall 47 towards the front, that is to say towards the inside of the swimming pool 7.
- this rail 4 must also comprise a part clip-on 5 which is formed in the present embodiment by an extension 49 extending from the upper part of the wall 47, towards the rear, and by a rim 48a which extends towards the front and slightly upwards from the front end of the wall 48.
- the parts 49 and 48a together form a means for fixing by clipping of the second hook-shaped part 2 of the profile paving 12 according to the invention (see Figure 2).
- the profile 12 can be clipped onto the rail 4 thanks to a shape particular of the second hook-shaped part 2.
- This second hook-shaped part 2 indeed comprises a horizontal wall 21 extending from the bottom of the arc portion 1 towards the rear, a vertical wall 22 extending from the rear of the wall 21 downwards, a horizontal wall 23 extending from the bottom of the wall 22 towards the front and a rim 25 extending from the bottom of the arc portion 1 in down and back direction.
- Parts 25, 21, 22 and 23 form together a housing in which part 5 of rail 4 can come fit it and clip.
- the clipping effect is obtained by the fact that the part 48 and 48a of the rail 4 comes to bend down during the fitting from part 2 to part 5 (by a movement of movement of the profile 10 relative to rail 4 in a direction 11 of movement horizontal and towards the front, i.e. towards the inside of the pool 7) and, at the end of the nesting operation, the part 48a is raised elastically to clip onto the back and against part 25 for clipping (or snap-fastening) which is final.
- this rail 4 is also made of material plastic, preferably PVC.
- FIG 4 is a cross-sectional view of an edge of a pool in which the water surface is overflowing permanent at a peripheral edge of the pool.
- This swimming pool comprises a peripheral wall 58 preferably produced according to the known technique of lost formwork, which includes a wall internal peripheral 59, an external peripheral wall 60 and a overflow water collection channel 61 located between edges internal peripherals 62 and external peripherals 63.
- Each of the edges internal and external peripherals 62, 63 respectively comprises a first tiling profile according to the invention 62 and a second tiling profile paving according to the invention 63.
- a grating 61A is laid in the channel 61.
- This variant of the invention makes it possible to constitute swimming pools in which the entire perimeter is overflowing (swimming pools commonly called “mirror”) or pools only one side is in overflow in order to constitute a sort of very large evacuation or "very large skimer” of the width corresponding to the length of this overflowing edge (swimming pools commonly called “in overflow”).
- FIG. 5 there is a view in section of a part of a swimming pool including a profile 10 according to the invention, this view being intended to show a swimming pool manufacturing process according to the present invention.
- the process of making the pool consists in perform a digging or earthmoving step 71 constituting the location of the swimming pool. Then we install the formwork lost constituting the vertical walls 72 of the pool and we install (either before or after) a trellis 73 on wedges 74 in the bottom, brackets 75 in the connection part between the future bottom raft and the future pool wall and 74A fittings in the formwork lost 72.
- a casting step is carried out on a low height of concrete 76 at the bottom of the lost formwork 72 of the walls vertical, about 60 cm high, so that the concrete spreads out (76) in a part of the pool bottom near wall 72, this in order to constitute a concrete continuity (76) in the connection part between wall 72 and the pool bottom (part 76 where are installed the brackets 75).
- a step of realization of the pool bottom (also called raft) 77 by pouring concrete directly in the bottom of the pool.
- the attachment rail can be installed. liner and / or profile 12 according to the invention during a step located before the concrete pouring steps in wall 72, and even, if we wish, before all concrete pouring steps.
- Figure 6 is a sectional view of an upper part of a variant of a swimming pool including a profile according to the invention, this view being intended to show a variant of a process for manufacturing swimming pool according to the present invention.
- a coping 6 and its adjacent area 80 are produced in one piece.
- Area 80 constitutes an "articulated slab", that is to say a slab horizontal 80 sui is connected to the vertical wall 72 without actually being embedded in this wall.
- an embankment 81 against the external wall of wall 72 this embankment being packed and constituting a horizontal surface 82.
- part 83 of the lost formwork 72 is hollowed out slightly below its upper part, then we install on the surface 82, a trellis of concrete 84 and a concrete is poured on this trellis in order to constitute the slab articulated 80.
- the embankment 81 or the entire soil surrounding the pool sags slightly (up to 3 cm, and even in extreme cases 10 cm and even more)
- the articulated slab 80 will tilt down at the level of its rear end 85 and there will be a "joint" at the level of the zone 83 which forms a connection between the slab 80 and the wall 72.
- the surface condition of the PVC profile is more beautiful than that of aluminum profile of the prior art.
- the bather in the pool experiences a more pleasant feeling when his body comes into contact with this PVC profile as opposed to being too shiny and cold aluminum from the prior art profile or as opposed to the character rough concrete coping in case this aluminum profile is not used.
- the position of the clipping hook is advisable because when pouring concrete paving, it exerts a hydrostatic thrust on the paving profile in a horizontal direction towards the interior of the pool, hence the strengthening of the retention in place of the clip hook.
