Abstract

L'invention concerne un adaptateur universel du type d'un raccordement pouvant être inséré de l'avant dans une plaque frontale et bloqué par un ressort, destiné à un connecteur enfichable en fibre de verre. Cet adaptateur comprend un boîtier en un ou deux éléments, lequel est pourvu, au moins sur une face, d'une bride en saillie par rapport à la coupe transversale du boîtier et destinée à l'application sur la plaque frontale. Ledit adaptateur comporte également les éléments suivants : au moins un logement pour connecteur enfichable, situé à l'avant et/ou à l'arrière de la plaque frontale ; au moins un dispositif d'arrêt pour connecteur enfichable, libérable par liaison de forme. Chaque logement pour connecteur enfichable est pourvu d'une ouverture pour la réception alternative d'au moins deux parmi trois types de connecteurs différents LX.5, LC et MU, ainsi que d'un dispositif d'arrêt correspondant à chaque type. Cet adaptateur est conçu comme raccordement enfichable simplex, pour le logement alternatif des trois types, ou comme raccordement enfichable duplex, pour le logement des types LX.5 ou LC. L'adaptateur est doté d'une broche pour actionner un volet d'ouverture du connecteur de type LX.5 sur un élément mobile de sa paroi latérale. Ledit adaptateur peut en outre être verrouillé au moyen d'un cache, monté pivotant et libérable sur le boîtier, et il peut comprendre un ressort à cran d'arrêt, actionnable par l'avant et disposé sur le boîtier, ce ressort pouvant être mis en prise derrière la plaque frontale et libéré de celle-ci.
