Die erfindungsgemäße aus einem Fangbolzen und einem Halteteil gebildete Fangvorrichtung weist einen einfachen kostengünstigen Aufbau auf und ist in Ruhestellung der Fahrzeugtür berührungslos, das heißt, es treten auch keinerlei Geräusche auf und es werden keine zusätzlichen Schraubverbindungen oder dgl. benötigt, so daß die Montage der Außenbetätigung nicht erschwert wird. Vorzugsweise ist der Fangbolzen am Tragteil der Außenbetätigung vorgesehen und das Halteteil ist in eine innere Türverstärkung oder das Schloß integriert. Bei der Montage wird nur der Fangbolzen des Tragteiles in die Aufnahme des Halteteiles eingesteckt, wobei die Aufnahme den Fangbolzen mit radialem Abstand von ca. 2 bis 3 mm umgibt. Die Fangvorrichtung 26 ist benachbart der schloßseitigen Stirnseite 8 der Fahrzeugtür 2
vorgesehen. Ohne Querbeschleunigung auf das Fahrzeug verläuft die Aufnahme 29 des
Halteteils 28 mit radialem Abstand zum innenliegenden Fangbolzen 27. Die Aufnahme 29
wird durch eine kreisförmige oder langlochförmige Ausnehmung des Halteteils 28

Das Halteteil 28 wird gemäß Fig. 2 durch eine angeformte Lasche 35 der inneren
Türverstärkung 9 gebildet. Bei einer anderen nicht näher dargestellten Ausführungsform
könnte das Halteteil 28 auch durch eine abgestellte Lasche des Schlosses 6 gebildet
werden. Das etwa aufrecht verlaufende, sich in Fahrzeugquerrichtung erstreckende
örtlich abgewinkelte Halteteil 28 könnte jedoch auch durch ein separates Bauteil gebildet
werden, das örtlich am Innenblech 4 der Fahrzeugtür 2 oder am Schloß 6 befestigt ist.
Gemäß den Fig. 2 und 3 ragt der Fangbolzen 27 durch die Aufnahme 29 des Halteteiles
28 hindurch und überragt dieses beidseitig. In der Ruhestellung B, das heißt bei keiner
auf das Fahrzeug einwirkenden Querbeschleunigung sind beide Teile 27 und 28 der
Fangvorrichtung 26 berührungslos zueinander angeordnet.The
In Fig 3. ist die Fahrzeugtür 2 und die Schließeinrichtung 3 bei einer auf das Fahrzeug
einwirkenden Querbeschleunigung von etwa 30 g dargestellt. Die sich in Wirkstellung C
befindliche Fangvorrichtung 26 ermöglicht ein geringes seitliches Ausbeulen von ca. 2 bis
3 mm des Türaußenblechs 5 nach außen hin. In dieser Stellung liegt der Fangbolzen 27
dann am äußeren Rand der Aufnahme 29 an und begrenzt somit ein weiteres Ausbeulen
des Türaußenblechs nach außen hin. Durch das Ausbeulen des Türaußenblechs 5 von
etwa 2 bis 3 mm nach außen hin verschwenkt der Auslösehebel 7 um den in Fig. 3
angegebenen Winkel α. Dieser Winkel α ist jedoch so gering, daß dadurch kein

Claims (10)
- A closing device for a vehicle door, comprising a lock, which is arranged between an inner panel and an outer panel of the vehicle door and is fixed to the inner panel and which has a release lever for disengaging the locked position of the lock, and an external control acting on the release lever via a force transmission member, wherein the external control comprises a supporting part fixed to the inside of the outer panel, and a pivotable pulling handle arranged on the outside, characterised in that a catching device (26) is provided adjacent to the lock (6) within the vehicle door (2) and, in the event of defined transverse acceleration acting on the vehicle, co-operates with the supporting part (13) of the external control (11) and limits outward bulging of the outer panel (5).
- A closing device according to claim 1, characterised in that the catching device (26) comprises a catch bolt (27) extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and a holding part (28) extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle and provided with an opening (29) which surrounds the catch bolt (27).
- A closing device according to claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the catch bolt (27) is provided on the supporting part (13).
- A closing device according to claim 3, characterised in that the catch bolt (27) is formed in one piece with the supporting part (13).
- A closing device according to claim 3, characterised in that the catch bolt (27) is formed by a separately manufactured part (13) which is fixable to the supporting part (13).
- A closing device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that, in the normal position of the vehicle door, the opening (29) in the holding part (28) extends with radial spacing around the catch bolt (27) lying within it, whereas, in excess of defined transverse acceleration acting on the vehicle, the catch bolt (27) is locally supported against the outer edge of the opening (29).
- A closing device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the holding part (28) is formed by a plate (35) formed on an inner door reinforcement (9).
- A closing device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the holding part (28) is formed by an extended plate (35) of the lock (6).
- A closing device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the holding part (28) is fixed to the inner panel (4) or the lock (6).
- A closing device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the catch bolt (27) projects through the opening (29) in the holding part (28) and projects beyond it on both sides.
