Claims (6)

  1. Paraffinzusammensetzung, verwendbar für Lichter mit langer Brenndauer, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie enthält:
    etwa 5 bis 25 Gew.-% eines Methylesters mindestens einer Fettsäure,
    ein Copolymer des Typs Monoolefin-Vinylester, dessen Gehalt in der Paraffin-Zusammensetzung weniger als 10% Gew.-, vorzugsweise weniger als 7,5 Gew.-%, beträgt;
    eine Ergänzung auf 100 Gew.-% der Zusammensetzung, bestehend aus mindestens einem Paraffin mit einem Schmelzpunkt von weniger als 65°C, vorzugsweise von weniger als 58°C, und gegebenenfalls Zusätze, die gewöhnlich in diesen Zusammensetzungen verwendet werden.
  2. Zusammensetzung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Methylester mindestens einer Fettsäure ein Gemisch von Raps-Methylestern darstellt.
  3. Zusammensetzung nach den vorhergehenden Ansprüchen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Copolymer des Typs Monoolefin-Vinylester ein Ethylen-Vinylacetat-Copolymer, abgekürzt E.V.A., darstellt.
  4. Zusammensetzung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Menge der in der Zusammensetzung enthaltenen Zusätze weniger als 10 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise weniger als 5 Gew.-%, beträgt.
  5. Verwendung der Paraffin-Zusammensetzung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4 in einem Glasgefäß oder in einer anderen Art von Behältnis.
  6. Verwendung nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Glasgefäß oder das andere Behältnis eine Zylinderform mit einer Höhe von mindestens 30 cm und einem Durchmesser von mindestens 8,5 cm hat.
