Description

The field of the invention is that of information display racks for communication or visual advertising at POS points of sale. The displays of the invention are collapsible columns on themselves and unfolded automatically, with the advantage of being able to be transported and stored under excellent conditions, on the one hand, and to be installed very quickly on site, on the other hand.

More specifically, the invention relates to an information display rack with at least one presentation surface, comprising at least one blank of a substantially rigid and foldable material comprising said presentation face, constraint means for bombarding the face of the invention. presentation of the blank and means for holding the presentation face of the blank in the convex state of the constraint means.

From a folded state, it suffices to start unfolding the support so that, under the action of the stressing means, it unfolds completely automatically. Naturally, conversely, the folding of the support takes place against the action of the stressing means.

Types of such a display stand are described in documents FR 2760 880 and FR 2 795 217.

In these display stands, the presentation face is extended on either side of the faces or side holding strips that resilient return means move closer to one another to constrain the presentation face to be bent until abutment means oppose the elastic return means to maintain the presentation face in the domed state; thus one of the lateral support faces, less wide than the presentation face, can abut in the dihedron formed by the presentation face and the other side or side strips.

These supports of the prior art, as interesting as they are, have two disadvantages.

A good part of the surface of the faces or lateral bands of maintenance is naturally lost. The format of the blanks from which these media are formed is limited. In the case of a two-sided support of presentation of large width, or 50 cm, the maximum width of a blank being 120 cm, it is necessary to take two blanks, that is to say to make two cuts and two printing passes, which is obviously expensive.

In other words, and purely for example, make a double-sided support 50 cm wide from a single blank 120 cm wide, while there would be only 20 cm for the strips lateral support, poses a problem.

The present invention aims to solve these difficulties.

To this end, the invention relates to an information display rack of the type defined above, characterized in that the antagonistic holding means of the constraint means for maintaining the convex face of the blank curved comprises a plurality of strips. whose action is exercised discretely distributed along said blank presentation face.

Support levels have thus been created in the support of the invention, unlike the columns of the prior art in which the holding action is exerted continuously along the entire presentation face, by faces or sidebands of the same length as the presentation face. Preferably, the holding strips are articulated at one end to the blank near a lateral edge of the presentation face, of length less than the width of the presentation face of the blank, the other end of the strips being arranged for, under the action of the constraining means, abut against a folded edge portion of the blank.

Preferably, the constraining means comprise resilient return means fixed to the folded edge portions of the blank and to the holding strips.

In the case of an information display side display rack, the blank of the display face has a width substantially equal to half that of a standard size blank.

Thanks to this, the production costs are very significantly divided by two.

In the case of a support with two convex presentation faces, there are provided two blanks respectively presenting the two presentation faces and the same dimensions, cut into the same blank of standard format.

This solution is more advantageous than that of the standard blank two-sided presentation of a single piece that would be very difficult to fold because the material of the blank can not flow.

In the latter case, it can be provided a single series of holding strips abutting against each folded abutment edge of each presentation face and articulated to the two respective hinge edges of the two presentation faces.

As a variant, the information display rack may comprise two curved presentation faces and a single series of holding strips, abutting against each folded abutment edge of each presentation face and articulated to the two respective articulation edges of the portions. folded standard size blank extending the presentation faces.

The information display rack of the invention, generally, may also include a plurality of presentation faces each with a retaining band hinge border and a stop edge of the holding strips, the ends articulation of the holding strips of a presentation face being also articulated to the abutment edge of an adjacent presentation face.

Thus, the presentation faces are joined together in pairs by the ends of articulation of the holding strips.

The display stand 1 of FIG. 1 is in the form of an unfolded vertical column, but which can be folded on itself by folding over each other of the panels 2 formed in a blank here of cardboard which constitute it , here four in number, adjacent to each other along thick fold lines 3, here thus three in number. All panels 2 are identical to each other. It is the front faces of the panels 2 which constitute the information presentation face 11 of the support column.

Each panel 2 is extended laterally, on both sides, respectively by two borders, one 4, hinge, the other 5, abutment. At their two longitudinal ends 6, 7, the edges 4, 5 are indented to allow folding of the panels 2 on each other. The borders 4, 5, in the unfolded display state, are folded towards the rear face 8 of the panel 2 around portions of the lateral edges 12, 13 of the presentation face 11.

The borders 4, 5 serve respectively as articulation and abutment to a holding band 9 which, in the display state, makes it possible to constrain the panel 2, in cooperation with an elastic band 10, to bend its presentation face 11 and maintains it in this state thanks to the abutment edge 5 which can be presented as an antagonist of the elastic strain 10.

It will be noted from the outset that the support strips 9, although here relatively wide do not exert their action over the entire height of the column; it is an action discreetly distributed over this height, that is to say along the presentation face of the blank.

Each holding band 9 on one side is articulated to the associated joint edge 4 and, on the other side, is pulled by its elastic 10 abuts against the abutment border 5 associated.

Each band 9 has a length less than the width of the panel 2 to precisely be able to bomber.

Near the lateral edge 12, the hinge edge 4 is pierced with two slots 14, 15 of buttonhole type receiving two nipples 16, 17 of the button type, projecting laterally out of a hinge end portion 18 of the 9. The blank of FIG. 2 is intended for the production of a presentation double-sided information carrier 111 and 211, with two series of panels 102, 202, on either side of folding lines 103, 203, like before. This is a blank of standard format, in which precuts are made before cutting into two blanks 31, 32, along a longitudinal centerline 30 of the initial blank.

Around the median line 30, it is precut, as in the embodiment of Figure 1, notched articulation edges 134, 234, which will be folded around the side edges 112 and 212 of the faces 111 and 211. The notches are obtained by diamond punching 33.

Along the lateral hinge edges 112, 212, in the hinge edges, hinge slots 114, 214 have been provided for the articulation of the holding strips 39. The hinge slots correspond to the buttonholes 14 15 of the single-sided embodiment of FIG.

Lateral sides opposite the hinge edges 134, 234, indented notch edges 135 and 235 are precut which will be folded around the side edges 113 and 213 of the faces 111 and 211. From the edge 36 of the abutment edges 135 and 235, there are two cutouts 321 and 322 in arc portion for retaining holding elastics 110 (Figure 4).

Holding strips 39 (FIG. 3) of this second embodiment differ substantially from the previous embodiments. First, they are much narrower. Then, their hinge ends 118 and stop 119 comprise retractable elements that can be introduced through the hinge slots 114, 214. Finally, their stop end 119 ensures still a little more suitably the function of counteracting the elastic stress function of the elastics 110.

Thus, the hinge end 118 of each holding strip 39 comprises a retaining bar 40, perpendicular to the overall longitudinal direction and having two internal retaining shoulders, formed with the adjacent edges 41, 42 of the strip, cooperating with external retaining shoulders, formed with the same edges of the band and the transverse edges of two small fins 43, 44 foldable on the band around the same edge 41, 42, to block the band and especially to take in jaw, between the bar 40 and the fins 43, 44, the two articulation edges 134, 234 of the two presentation faces 111, 112 (FIG. 4), after the fins have passed in the folded position through the corresponding articulation slots 114, 214 of the two blanks and subsequent deployment of the fins.

The abutment end 119 of each retaining band 39 comprises, folded around the longitudinal edges 41, 42, two small flaps 45, 46 of passage and retaining the associated elastic band 110, retained between the anterior portions 47 and the portions posterior 48 and slipped under the anterior portions 47 and the posterior portions 48 (Figure 4).

Below the abutment end 119, the band 39 has a cutout 49 in an arc to retain the elastic band 110 on the band.

Because the elastic band 110 is located between the band 39 and the front portions 47 of the flaps 45, 46, the end 119 of the band has a certain thickness providing a good abutment means at the edge 36 of the folded abutment edges 135 , 235 of the two presentation faces 111, 112.

Mounting the support of Figures 2-4 is quite easy. After inserting the holding strips 39, as indicated above, into the hinge slots 114, 214 and thus clamping together the hinge edges 134, 234, the two are folded over one another. blanks 31, 32, thus articulated to one another; then having hooked each elastic band 110 to its associated holding strip 39, by the cutout 49, it is attached to the two abutment edges 135, 235 superimposed on one another, by the cutouts 321, 322, which pulls the strip 39 towards the borders until the end 119 abuts against the edges 36 of the edges, the faces 111 and 112, because of the length of the smaller support strips 39 that the width of the faces 111, 112, then being both curved.

The information carrier of FIG. 5 is quite similar to that of FIGS. 2-4, in that it notably has two unitary presentation faces 311, 312 intended to be curved under the action of non-elastic strainers. represented but having the same function as the elastics 110, holding strips 339, here strictly identical to the holding strips 39, also articulated to two adjacent articulation edges 334, 434, also identical to the previous borders 134, 234, and two adjacent abutment edges 335, 435 still identical to the borders 135, 235.

The support of FIG. 5 is distinguished, on the one hand, by the fact that the two information presentation faces 311, 312, of conventional width, respectively belong to two blanks of standard format 301, 401 each comprising a first portion corresponding to the presentation face, and a second portion 302, 402 which extends the presentation face and, secondly, in that the second portions 302, 402 form a third presentation face 313, said combined , uniting the unit faces 311, 312 and maintained in a constrained state under the action of a second series of stress son 310, at each level of the collapsible panels 502, 602, fixed at three points, two a, b on the two edges 303, 403 and a c, on the retaining band 339.

The son 310 may be plastic. In place of threads, strips may be used.

Claims (10)

Support according to Claim 6, in which a single series of holding strips (39), which are in abutment against each folded-over abutment border (135, 235) of each presentation face (111, 112) and are hinged to the two respective hinge borders (134, 234) of the two presentation faces (111, 112), is provided.
