Abstract

Ein Kraftstoffsystem für eine Brennkraftmaschine umfasst eine Niederdruck-Kraftstoffversorgung und eine Hochdruck-Kraftstoffpumpe (24). Diese umfasst ein Gehäuse (38), mindestens ein bewegliches Förderelement (44), welches einen Förderraum (66) begrenzt, und mindestens einen Antrieb (54), welcher das Förderelement (44) in Bewegung versetzen kann. Der Antrieb (54) ist wenigstens teilweise in einem Antriebsraum (62) angeordnet. Um die Schmierung der beweglichen Teile der Kraftstoff-Hochdruckpumpe (24) unter allen Betriebszuständen sicherzustellen, wird vorgeschlagen, dass durch Schmiermittel-Versorgungseinrichtung (45) der Antriebsraum (62) mit einem Druck beaufschlagt werden kann, der höher ist als der Druck im Niederdruckbereich (18).
