- an elongated insert body surrounded by a solenoid valve and coaxial with the nozzle needle is provided, which starts from a central high-pressure connection and contains a fuel supply line.
- the fuel supply line leads on the one hand to a pressure chamber surrounding the nozzle needle and on the other hand on the back of the nozzle needle, wherein the nozzle needle backside is connectable to a discharge line through the solenoid valve.
- the fuel injection valve according to the invention with the features of claim 1 has the advantage that at least one fuel channel is arranged in the valve interior, that its cross section is closed with the fuel injection valve closed, so that the interior of the fuel injection valve is not in communication with the recess of the valve needle.
- the fuel channel is released, so that an approximately step-shaped characteristic is achieved.
- the at least one fuel channel is formed in a flange, which passes through the armature of the magnetic circuit and is in non-positive connection with the valve needle.
- Another advantage is that the fuel channel is covered by a correspondingly formed shoulder of the inner pole of the fuel injection valve, whereby additional components are avoided.

- appropriate stroke adjustment of the valve needle 3 then flows as much fuel through the fuel injector 1, as is necessary in the context of the flow accuracy to be achieved.
- the dynamics of the fuel injector 1 can be improved and the manufacturing costs can be reduced, since the construction of an armature travel is eliminated and the minimization of the minimum amount of fuel flowing through the fuel injector 1 is achieved.
- the at least one fuel channel 11 is dimensioned so that it does not act as a throttle, but allowed after its release an unthrottled fuel flow through the fuel injector 1.
- the invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiment and z. B. also for Fuel injection valves 1 for mixture compression, self-igniting internal combustion engines applicable.

Description
- Fig. 1A
