Definitions

  • This type of bin offers a good compromise between the useful volume corresponding to the internal volume of the tray when it is open and a small space when it is folded, which optimizes the empty return of the bins and limits the costs of transport.
  • side walls are vertical which optimizes the filling capacity, especially when the stored goods are parallelepipedic.
  • the tray also comprises stacking means arranged on the bottom wall, which are adapted to cooperate with first complementary means of the upper wall of another tank.
  • the stacking means and the complementary means allow to lock the position of the tray in a horizontal plane when it is stacked or stacked on another tray of the same type.
  • the stacking means consist of a projecting zone, such as a rib, which extends downwards from the bottom of the tray and which, when the tray is stacked, cooperates with the upper belt of the lower tray.
  • Another solution is to equip a vertical wall of a movable portion between an open position providing an access opening in said wall, and a closed position.
  • the invention proposes a foldable plastic handling container of the type described above which is characterized in that at least a first vertical wall comprises second stacking means which are adapted to cooperate with second complementary means of another tray so as to be stacked in a supine position, after pivoting about a horizontal axis parallel to said vertical wall.
  • Figure 1 shows a foldable container 10 of plastic of known type.
  • It comprises mainly a horizontal bottom wall 12 of rectangular shape, a peripheral upper belt 14 delimiting an open upper wall 16, and four walls which extend vertically from the bottom 12 to the upper belt 14.
  • Two opposite lateral vertical walls 20, 22 each comprise a panel 24, 26 which is articulated on the upper belt 14 between a vertical position of use (shown in FIG. 1) and a horizontal folding position (represented in FIG. 2). towards the inside of the tray 10.
  • the side walls 20, 22 can also be articulated on the bottom wall 12.
  • the other two opposite vertical walls 30, 32 are foldable and oriented longitudinally. They each comprise an upper panel 34, 36 and a lower panel 38, 40 which are articulated to each other by hinge means 42, 44, along a horizontal line A 1 , A 2 , and whose upper panel 34, 36 is articulated on the upper belt 14 and the lower panel 38, 40 is articulated on the bottom wall 12, between a vertical position of use (shown in FIG. 1) and a position folded in a V towards the inside of the container ( shown in Figure 2).
  • the tray 10 also comprises movable means or covers 46 for closing the opening of the upper wall 16.
  • Figure 3 shows two bins stacked in a vertical position.
  • the tray 10 sup includes first stacking means 50, arranged on the bottom wall 12, which are adapted to cooperate with first complementary means 52 of the upper wall 16 of the other tray 10 inf .
  • the first stacking means 50 of the upper tray 10 sup consist of a rib 54 which extends downwards to from the bottom wall 12.
  • the rib 54 engages in a housing of the upper wall 16, the bottom tray 10 inf on which it is stacked.
  • the first stacking means 50 and the first complementary means 52 make it possible to lock the position of the upper tray 10 sup in a horizontal plane relative to the lower tray 10 inf on which it is stacked so as to allow the production and handling of a stack of bins without risk of collapse of the battery.
  • a first vertical wall of the tray 10 sup here a first longitudinal wall 30 comprises second stacking means 60 (shown in Figure 4) which are adapted to cooperate with second complementary means 62 of another tray 10 inf so as to be stacked in a supine position, in accordance with Figure 5, after pivoting 90 ° about a horizontal axis A parallel to said vertical wall 30.
  • the longitudinal side wall 32 opposite the first vertical wall 30 also comprises second complementary means 62, so as to allow to stack at least two trays 10 sup, 10 inf of the same type on top of one another, all two while lying down.
  • Bins of the same type are called bins comprising stacking means and complementary means compatible without limiting the size of the bins.
  • bins of different dimensions for example a 300 * 400 bin and a 600 * 400 bin, are of the same type when the bin 300 * 400 is stackable on the bin 600 * 400.
  • the operations of filling and emptying the bins 10 are facilitated by proposing to the operator a position more ergonomic. In addition, it is possible to fill and empty the bottom tray 10 inf without removing the upper tray 10 sup .
  • the second stacking means 60 and the second complementary means 62 may have different shapes.
  • the stacking means 60 and complementary means 62 consist of L-shaped ribs 64 and 66 which extend transversely to the plane of the longitudinal walls 30, 32.
  • the ribs 64 and 66 are arranged in each corner of the longitudinal walls 30, 32 on the upper belt 14 and on the vertical edge 58 of the bottom wall 12.
  • the ribs 64 and 66 are slightly offset relative to each other so that the outer faces 70 of the ribs 66 are opposite the internal faces 68 of the ribs 64. Thus when two bins are stacked in position lying down, their position in a horizontal plane is locked.
  • the second stacking means 60 and the second complementary means 62 are here arranged on the upper belt 14 and on the periphery of the bottom wall 12.
  • the second stacking means 60 and the second complementary means 62 are arranged on the panels 34 to 38 of the longitudinal walls 30, 32.
  • Such a configuration optimizes the size of the tray 10 in the folded position, no part projecting from the vertical walls.
  • the hinge means 42, 44 of the longitudinal wall panels 30, 32 may form the second stacking means 60 and the second complementary means 62.
  • Figure 7 illustrates a non-limiting embodiment and shows the hinge means 42 and 44 of the first and second longitudinal walls 30 and 32 of two bins 10 sup , 10 inf stacked in supine position respectively.
  • the articulation means 42 and 44 consist of an axis of rotation 80 which passes through housings made in zones 82 of the upper panels 34, 36 and zones 84 of the lower panels 38, 40.
  • the second stacking means 60 and the second Complementary means 62 here consist of protuberances 86 of the zones 82 of the upper panels 34, 36 whose end 88 is complementary to the zones 84 of the lower panels 38, 40.
  • the 84 zones are housed in the ends 88 of the zones 82 so as to lock the relative position of the two bins 10 sup , 10 inf in a horizontal plane.
  • the opposite vertical wall 32 to the vertical wall 30 comprises first complementary means, so as to stack on said opposite vertical wall 32 another tray in a vertical position.
  • the second stacking means 60 may be able to cooperate with the first complementary means 52, so as to stack the tray 10 sup indifferently in a vertical position or in a supine position on the upper wall 16 of another tray 10 inf .
  • Such a type of tray makes it possible to stack it in a vertical position or in a supine position on a lower tray which can itself be in a vertical position or in a supine position.
  • the trays made according to the invention make it possible to form stacks of trays consisting of trays in the vertical position and / or in the supine position, according to the needs of the user and the stored products.
  • a stack of bins may consist of first bins to be emptied and filled several times during their cycle of use, and second bins to be emptied only during the last stage of the cycle of 'use. To do this, it is possible to stack the first bins in vertical position and the second bins in supine position. The arrangement in the stack of the first tanks with respect to the second is determined so as to facilitate filling and emptying operations.
  • the closure means 46 of the opening of the upper wall 16 may allow, from their closed position of closing the opening, to gradually clear the opening.
  • the closure means 46 comprise two flaps 90, 92 movable relative to each other.
  • the lower flap 92 is articulated on the edge of the peripheral belt, so when the level of the products stored in the tray allows it, the lower flap 92 pivots, driving the upper flap 90 so as to fully open the opening of the tray 10.
  • the closure means can also, in open position, be retractable in a vertical wall of the tray 10.
