Claims (5)

  1. A device for producing pipes from asymmetrically pre-bent metal sheets (15), consisting of a pipe moulding press (1) with a bending rail (4) that is mounted on the upper press section (3) and on the base (7) of which an upper moulding tool (8) is supported in an articulated fashion, and with a lower press section (2) that features a lower moulding tool (5), wherein the bending rail (4) with the upper moulding tool (8) is asymmetrically placed on the pre-bent metal sheet (15) for the metal forming process,
    characterized in
    that the upper moulding tool (8) is supported in a freely movable fashion and pivots about its horizontal longitudinal axis (11) when it is placed on the pre-bent metal sheet (15).
  2. The device according to Claim 1,
    characterized in
    that the upper moulding tool (8) is connected to the base (7) of the bending rail (4) by means of rotary joints (10).
  3. The device according to Claim 1 or 2,
    characterized in
    that the upper end (17) of the bending rail (4) is supported on the upper press section (3) by means of joints (18).
  4. The device according to one of Claims 1-3,
    characterized in
    that the axis of rotation (13) of the upper moulding tool (8) is arranged adjacent to the surface (4) of the metal sheet (15).
  5. The device according to one of Claims 1-4,
    characterized in
    that the upper moulding tool (8) and/or the bending rail (4) is/are subjected to a force in the region of their joints (10, 18).
