Abstract
Demgemäß wurde ein neues und verbessertes Verfahren zur Herstellung von hochreiner Salpetersäure durch Destillation oder Rektifikation von Salpetersäure, Rohsalpetersäure oder deren Gemische in einer Kolonne, indem man 85 bis 95 Gew.-% Salpetersäure, Rohsalpetersäure oder deren Gemische bei Temperaturen von 70 bis 110 °C und einem Druck von 0,1 bis 2 bar destilliert.
Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von hochreiner Salpetersäure
Beschreibung
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von hochreiner Salpetersäure durch Destillation oder Rektifikation von Salpetersäure, Rohsalpetersäure oder deren Gemische in einer Kolonne, wobei man 85 bis 95 Gew.-% Salpetersäure, Roh- Salpetersäure oder deren Gemische bei Temperaturen von 70 bis 110°C und einem Druck von 0,1 bis 2 bar destilliert.
Aus der SU-A-11 01 249 ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von hochreiner Salpetersäure aus 60%iger Rohsalpetersäure durch auf- wendige Mehrfachdestillation bekannt.
Dieses Verfahren hat den Nachteil, daß Kationen wie Calciu , Magnesium, Natrium und Zink als Verunreinigungen in der Größenordnung von mehr als 1 ppm vorkommen.
Der vorliegende Erfindung lag daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, den zuvor genannten Nachteilen abzuhelfen.
Demgemäß wurde ein neues und verbessertes Verfahren zur Her- Stellung von hochreiner Salpetersäure durch Destillation oder Rektifikation von Salpetersäure, Rohsalpetersäure oder deren Gemische in einer Kolonne gefunden, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß man 85 bis 95 Gew.-% Salpetersäure, Rohsalpetersäure oder deren Gemische bei Temperaturen von 70 bis 110°C und einem Druck von 0,1 bis 2 bar destilliert.
Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren kann wie folgt durchgeführt werden:
Die hochreine Salpetersäure kann durch diskontinuierliche oder bevorzugt kontinuierliche Destillation, bevorzugt Rektifikation von 85 bis 95 Gew.-%iger Salpetersäure, Rohsalpetersäure oder deren Gemische bei Temperaturen von 70 bis 115°C, bevorzugt 75 bis 100°C, besonders bevorzugt 80 bis 90°C drucklos oder gegebenen- falls bei leichtem über- oder Unterdruck, also im Bereich von 0,1 bis 2 bar, bevorzugt 0,5 bis 1,5 bar, besonders bevorzugt bei Atmosphärendruck (Normaldruck) erhalten werden. Die Sumpf emperatur der Destillation liegt in der Regel bei 100 bis 140°C, bevorzugt bei 110 bis 130°C, besonders bevorzugt bei 115 bis 125°C.
Dabei kann 85 bis 95 Gew.-%ige Salpetersäure, Rohsalpetersäure oder deren Gemische direkt im Sumpf der Kolonne oder an jeder beliebigen Stelle der Kolonne zugeführt oder bevorzugt hochkonzentrierte Rohsalpetersäure eingesetzt und mit einem Verdünnungsmit- tel an jeder beliebigen Stelle der Kolonne zugeführt werden, so daß sich ein zu reinigender Salpetersäuregehalt nach dieser Zugabe von 85 bis 95 Gew.-% einstellt. Diese 85 bis 95 Gew.-%ige Salpetersäure, Rohsalpetersäure oder deren Gemische durchläuft anschließend ein bis fünf, bevorzugt ein bis drei, besonders be- vorzugt ein bis zwei theoretische Böden. In der Regel kann der Zulauf Umgebungstemperatur haben, jedoch ist es vorteilhaft den Zulauf in der Regel auf 40 bis 90°C aufzuheizen, bevorzugt wird der Zulauf auf Temperaturen von 70 bis 90°C, bevorzugt 75 bis 85°C, besonders bevorzugt 78 bis 82°C erwärmt.
Hochkonzentrierte Salpetersäure, Rohsalpetersäure oder deren Gemische enthält 95 bis 100 Gew.-%, bevorzugt 96 bis 99 Gew.-%, besonders bevorzugt 97 bis 98 Gew.-% Salpetersäure und ist nach allgemein üblichen Verfahren erhältlich, beispielsweise durch Um- setzung von N0X und Wasser im Autoklaven oder der Umsetzung von NOx und Wasser und Aufkonzentration mittels azeotroper Destillation durch Zusatz von Schwefelsäure.
Die erfindungsgemäße hochreine Salpetersäure enthält in der Regel 0,005 bis 0,1 [mg/kg] Sulfat, bevorzugt 0,01 bis 0,09 [mg/kg] Sulfat, besonders bevorzugt 0,02 bis 0,08 [mg/kg] Sulfat und in der Regel 0,005 bis 0,1 [mg/kg] Chlorid, bevorzugt 0,01 bis 0,09 [mg/kg] Chlorid, besonders bevorzugt 0,02 bis 0,08 [mg/kg] Chlorid und 0,05 bis 1 [ppb] Natrium, bevorzugt 0,07 bis 0,8 [ppb] Natrium, besonders bevorzugt 0,09 bis 0,5 [ppb]
Natrium, insbesondere 0,1 bis 0,3 [ppb] Natrium und zusätzlich Verunreinigungen von jeweils 0,1 Gew. -ppb (ppb = parts per bil- lion) oder weniger pro Kation (ausgenommen H+) . So liegt der Gehalt an Chrom in der Regel bei 0,001 bis 0,09 [ppb], bevorzugt 0,005 bis 0,07 [ppb], besonders bevorzugt 0,007 bis 0,05 [ppb]. Der Gehalt an Calcium liegt in der Regel bei 0,005 bis 0,1 [ppb], bevorzugt 0,01 bis 0,09 [ppb], besonders bevorzugt 0,015 bis 0,07 [ppb]. Der Gehalt an Kalium liegt in der Regel bei 0,005 bis 0,1 [ppb], bevorzugt 0,01 bis 0,09 [ppb], besonders bevorzugt 0,015 bis 0,07 [ppb]. Der Gehalt an Eisen liegt in der Regel bei 0,005 bis 0,1 [ppb], bevorzugt 0,01 bis 0,09 [ppb], besonders bevorzugt 0,015 bis 0,07 [ppb]. Der Gehalt an Magnesium liegt in der Regel bei 0,001 bis 0,09 [ppb], bevorzugt 0,005 bis 0,07 [ppb], besonders bevorzugt 0,007 bis 0,05 [ppb]. Der Gehalt an Zink liegt in der Regel bei 0,005 bis 0,1 [ppb], bevorzugt 0,01 bis 0,09 [ppb], besonders bevorzugt 0,015 bis 0,07 [ppb]. Der Gehalt an Kupfer liegt in der Regel bei 0,005 bis 0,1 [ppb],
bevorzugt 0,01 bis 0,09 [ppb], besonders bevorzugt 0,015 bis 0,07 [ppb]. Der Gehalt an Mangan liegt in der Regel bei 0,005 bis 0,1 [ppb], bevorzugt 0,008 bis 0,09 [ppb], besonders bevorzugt 0,01 bis 0,07 [ppb]. Der Gehalt an Aluminium liegt in der Regel 5 bei 0,005 bis 0,1 [ppb], bevorzugt 0,01 bis 0,09 [ppb], besonders bevorzugt 0,02 bis 0,08 [ppb].
Als Verdünnungsmittel eignen sich neben Wasser, das bevorzugt deionisiert eingesetzt wird, zur Einstellung der 85 bis
10 95 Gew.-%igen Salpetersäure, Rohsalpetersäure oder deren Gemische auch verdünnte Salpetersäure, Rohsalpetersaure oder deren Gemische, in der Regel 5 bis 95 Gew.-%ige, bevorzugt 50 bis 95 Gew.-%ige, besonders bevorzugt 60 bis 95 Gew.-%ige Salpetersäure, Rohsalpetersaure oder deren Gemische, wässrige anorgani-
15 sehe Lösungen wie verdünnte Salzlösungen, wässrige organische Lösungen wie Alkohole oder Laugen verwendet werden. Ebenso kann hochkonzentrierte Salpetersäure, Rohsalpetersäure oder deren Gemische auch in der Kolonne mit wasserhaltigen Lösungen gemischt werden, anstelle der Mischung im Zulauf.

Die gesamte Kolonne und ihre Nebenapparate oberhalb des Kolonnensumpfes bestehen in der Regel aus nicht metallischen Bauteilen, bevorzugt aus Glas oder temperaturbeständigem Kunststoff wie hochfluorierte Werkstoffe, beispielsweise Teflon, das bevorzugt
25 zur Auskleidung dient. Besonders bevorzugt verwendet man Boro- silikatglas. Der Verdampfer kann Heizstäbe z.B. aus Tantal enthalten.
Die Kolonne besteht in der Regel aus zwei oder mehreren wie zwei 30 bis zwölf, bevorzugt drei bis zehn, besonders bevorzugt vier bis neun, insbesondere fünf bis acht Abschnitten. An den jeweils unteren Abschnitten befindet sich in der Regel ein Tragrost, der eine Kolonnenpackung trägt . Die Packung der Kolonne kann entweder aus einer Füllkörperschüttung oder aus einer strukturierten Pak- 5 kung aus Glas, Teflon oder deren Gemische bestehen. Solche Kolonnen haben in der Regel ein oder zwei bis zwölf, bevorzugt drei bis zehn, besonders bevorzugt vier bis neun, insbesondere fünf bis acht theoretische Böden. Als Füllkörper eigenen sich alle bekannten Füllkörper oder deren Gemische wie beispielsweise 0 Raschigringe, Pallringe, Berl-Sattel oder Prymringe.
Oberhalb der Kolonne kann ein Kondensator, z.B. ein Rohrbündelwärmetauscher aus Glas, der mit Kühlwasser oder gegebenenfalls mit einem anderen Kühlmittel betrieben wird, die erfindungsgemäße 5 hochreine Salpetersäure kühlen. Ein Teil des gereinigten Produktes kann in die Kolonne zurückgeführt werden.

Glasschuß wurde hochkonzentrierte 95 bis 100 gew.-%ige Rohsalpetersäure im Sumpf vorgelegt und 75 bis 95 Gew.-%ige Rohsalpetersäure durch den Zulauf zugeführt, daß eine Salpetersäuekonzentration von 85 bis 95 Gew.-% entstand. Es wurde ein Rücklaufverhältnis von 0,4 und eine Kopfabzugskonzentration von 98,5 bis 99,5 Gew.-% Salpetersäure eingestellt. Die Sumpftempera- tur betrug 120 bis 125°C und die Kopftemperatur 82 bis 84°C. Man erhielt eine hochreine Salpetersäure mit folgender Spezifikation:
Claims
1. Verfahren zur Herstellung von hochreiner Salpetersäure durch Destillation oder Rektifikation von Salpetersäure, Rohsalpetersäure oder deren Gemische in einer Kolonne, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man 85 bis 95 Gew.-% Salpetersäure, Rohsalpetersäure oder deren Gemische bei Temperaturen von 70 bis 115°C und einem Druck von 0,1 bis 2 bar destilliert.
2. Verfahren zur Herstellung von hochreiner Salpetersäure nach
Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die Destillations- oder Rektifkationskolonne bei Atmosphärendruck betreibt .
3. Verfahren zur Herstellung von hochreiner Salpetersäure nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Destillations- oder Rektifkationskolonne mindestens drei theoretische Böden enthält.
4. Verfahren zur Herstellung von hochreiner Salpetersäure nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Destillations- oder Rektifkationskolonne mindestens vier theoretische Böden enthält.

Verfahren zur Herstellung von hochreiner Salpetersäure nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man 85 bis 95 Gew.-% Salpetersäure, Rohsalpetersäure oder deren Gemische im Sumpf vorlegt oder an jeder beliebigen Stelle der Kolonne einfügt, mit der Maßgabe, daß oberhalb des Zulaufes noch ein bis fünf theoretische Böden liegen.

Verfahren zur Herstellung von hochreiner Salpetersäure nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man hochkonzentrierte Salpetersäure, Rohsalpetersäure oder deren Gemische im Sumpf vorlegt und durch ein Verdünnungsmittel über einen Zulauf die Konzentration auf 85 bis 95 Gew.-% einstellt und diese 85 bis 95 Gew.-%ige Salpetersäure, Rohsalpetersäure oder deren Gemische anschließend noch ein bis fünf theoretische Böden durchläuft.

Verfahren zur Herstellung von hochreiner Salpetersäure nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man hochkonzentrierte Salpetersäure, Rohsalpetersäure oder deren Gemische im Sumpf vorlegt und durch ein Verdünnungsmittel 5 über einen Zulauf die Konzentration auf 85 bis 95 Gew.-% einstellt und diese 85 bis 95 Gew.-%ige Salpetersäure, Rohsalpetersäure oder deren Gemische anschließend noch ein bis drei theoretische Böden durchläuft.
10 8. Verfahren zur Herstellung von hochreiner Salpetersäure nach einem der Ansprüche 6 oder 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man als Verdünnungsmi tel Wasser, verdünnte Salpetersäure, wäßrige anorganische oder organische Lösungen oder deren Gemische einsetzt.

9. Verfahren zur Herstellung von hochreiner Salpetersäure nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man den Zulauf auf 40 bis 90°C heizt.
20 10. Verfahren zur Herstellung von hochreiner Salpetersäure nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man als Kolonnenmaterial nicht metallische Bauteile einsetzt.
