Definitions

  • the invention relates to a feeder of filter pieces in a machine of the tobacco processing industry, in particular filter attachment machine, with at least two magazines for filter rods, the filter rods are cut after removal from the magazines in filter pieces on a cross-axially conveying conveyor drum, and a machine of the tobacco processing industry, in particular filter attachment machine. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for feeding filter pieces from at least two magazines in a machine of the tobacco processing industry, in particular Filteransetzmaschineheartedi the filter pieces are removed from the magazines and cut into filter pieces on a cross-axially conveying conveyor drum.
  • GB-A-2 267 021 is a Filteransetzmaschine described in which two magazines each filter rods are removed. After removing a first filter rod, this filter rod is cut centrally and pushed apart laterally. Subsequently, a second filter rod from the other magazine centered inserted between the sections of the first filter rod. This filter rod assembly is subsequently cut, staggered and pushed on drums respectively. This process - cutting, staggering and moving the filter pieces - is repeated and thus executed a total of twice. The resulting combination filter of the two different filter rods is subsequently transferred to a compilation drum with cigarette rods.
  • the filter rods are removed from two separate magazines and subsequently cut in each case on a cutting drum several times to filter plugs and then each passed to a staggering drum. Thereafter, the staggered filter plugs are conveyed via further drums to a common compilation drum on which both types of filter plugs are pushed together and fed to a discharge conveyor which transports the filter plug groups to a transfer conveyor. By means of the transfer conveyor, the filter plug groups are transferred to a subsequent filter rod machine.
  • Filter rods are removed from a filter magazine and cut several times into filter plugs.
  • the cut filter plugs are delivered to a conveyor belt, at the end of which the filter plugs are arranged centrally on a conveyor drum by means of a removal drum.
  • tobacco sticks are arranged on both sides of the filter plug from separate and parallel juxtaposed magazines, so that subsequently the tobacco rod filter plug tobacco rod groups are provided with a tipping paper respectively.
  • a device for the production of filter pieces for cigarettes is described, being taken from two magazines by means of a respective removal drum multiple-length filter rods and then cut on the removal drum by means of cutting blades in filter plugs. Thereafter, the cut filter plugs are each transferred to a conveyor belt, so that the filter plug are conveyed longitudinal axial.
  • filter plugs are additionally spaced in the longitudinal axial direction.
  • the conveyor belts are further arranged with an inclination to the longitudinal axis of the filter plug. Subsequently, the longitudinal axial funded filter plugs are assembled in a zippered method on a common conveyor belt.
  • DE-A-198 56 934 describes a device for producing filter cigarettes with multiple filters, wherein filter components are inserted between two longitudinally axially spaced tobacco rods in a first step. Subsequently, further filter plugs are inserted at a subsequent assembly drum between the tobacco rod pairs longitudinally offended together with the first inserted filter plug. The filter components are placed here on two different conveyor paths separately between the longitudinally spaced tobacco rods.
  • the first solution of the problem is proposed in a feeder of the type mentioned that the magazines are arranged such that the conveying planes of the filter rods are offset in parallel.
  • the term "conveying plane” is understood in particular to mean a plane in which filter rods are removed from a magazine and in which the filter rods are transported in the conveying direction. In a geometric view, the filter rods are each perpendicular to the
  • Conveyor plane arranged. In the conveying plane itself several drums can be arranged so that the filter rods can be transferred from one drum to another.
  • the invention is based on the idea to exploit the structural depth of a machine by a spatial displacement of the magazines for the filter rods, so that at the same time filter rods are removed from the magazines, wherein the sampling points are spatially displaced, i. do not lie in a conveyor plane.
  • the conveying planes of the filter rods are then offset parallel to each other.

  • At least one staggering drum and / or at least one second sliding drum are provided in particular in the second conveying section.
  • At least one accelerator drum or staggering drum are provided in a third conveyor section.
  • the invention is based on the further idea that filter rods from the magazines and the filter pieces each side by side to the last or penultimate drum of the filter feed parallel and side by side, i. along axial axial offset, guided.
  • the width of the feeder or the filter attachment machine is important.
  • the filter pieces can be staggered on the common drum simultaneously and next to one another and pushed onto the likewise common sliding drum or assembled into a filter.
  • the drums of the first conveyor section may be formed together for the filter rods from the various magazines.
  • the respective drums can be designed individually for each conveying path of the filter pieces. In the latter case, it is necessary that the removal drums and possibly also the staggering drums for each magazine are arranged spatially offset from one another.

Taking advantage of the structural space of a machine, the filter rods from different magazines and the filter pieces in each different Transported levels or on different routes. In this case, the number of rotatable axes is kept as low as possible according to the invention, so that the machine drive can be designed easier.
  • At least a second staggering drum is arranged in the first conveyor section. After a first staggering in the first conveyor section takes place at least a second staggering of the filter pieces. As a result, the distance in the conveying direction between two filter pieces is increased.
  • the drums of the first conveyor section have substantially the same width.
  • the drums of the first conveyor section and the drums of the second conveyor section have the same width.
