Abstract

The aim of the invention is to develop methods, devices and support profiles that are configured to match the method and device, said profiles being used to attach a support section for rubber seals to automobile body parts in the shortest possible time with the minimum of tools and personnel. In addition, the methods and devices should be adaptable in such a way that modifications to the geometry of the sealing section and in particular to the contours of the body parts can be accommodated without long stoppages of the assembly line. The support sections and connecting regions must also mould to all the contours of the automobile bodywork, in particular the corner regions, and must permit the attachment of various sealing regions and the application of extreme detachment forces. To achieve these aims, the support section (1, 9) for the sealing section (11) is attached to the support surface (4) in one single operation. The sub-steps of said operation are carried out by an industrial robot. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, adhesive is applied to the support section (1, 9) during the production of the latter.

Damit wird eine lösbare Verbindung zwischen Bauelement und Bauteil über den Zwischenhalter hergestellt. Zur Verstärkung dieser Verbindung kann der Zwischenhalter mit dem Bauelement verklebt werden, indem die Vergußmasse in einen Kleberauftrag gesetzt wird. Bei diesem Verfahren wird das Bauteil an das Bauelement angesetzt. Ein ähnliches Verfahren beschreibt die DE 19714242 A Hier wird auf das erste Bauteil ein Kleber aufgetragen, auf diesen ein Verbindungsteil gesetzt und darauf ein zweites Bauteil aufgebracht, vorzugsweise aufgeklippt. Nach einer Weiterbildung der Erfindung soll Vergußmasse durch Durchbrechungen im ersten Bauteil eingefüllt werden. Die Vergußmasse soll die Formgebung des Verbindungsteiles umgreifen bzw. hintergreifen, daß dadurch das Verbindungsteil am ersten Bauteil festgehalten wird. Ausgehend hiervon liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Verfahren, eine Vorrichtung sowie an das Verfahren und an die Vorrichtung angepaßte Trägerprofile und Verbindungsbereiche zu entwickeln, mit deren Hilfe es gelingt, in möglichst kurzer Zeit, mit geringem Werkzeug- und Personalaufwand ein Trägerprofil für Dichtungsprofile an Automobilkarosserieteilen aufzubringen. Desweiteren sollen das Verfahren und die Vorrichtung derart anpassungsfähig sein, daß auf Änderungen in der Geometrie der Gummidichtung und insbesondere in der Kontur der Karosserieteile ohne lange Stillstandzeiten der Montagestraßen reagiert werden kann. Die Trägerprofile und Verbindungsbereiche müssen dem Verlauf der Automobilkarosserie an Türen und Kofferraumverschlüssen auch in den Eckbereichen folgen können und müssen das Aufbringen verschiedener Dichtbereiche und hohe Abzugskräfte ermöglichen. Die Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, daß das Aufbringen des Trägerprofils auf die Trägerfläche in einem Arbeitsgang bestehend aus einer raschen Abfolge zeitlich nur kurz zueinander versetzter Teilarbeitsschritte erfolgt. Die Teilarbeitsschritte werden von einem Industrieroboter durchgeführt. Die Bewegungen des Roboters werden der geometrischen Kontur der Trägerfläche, also der Türkarosserie oder des Kofferraumverschlusses, folgend programmiert. Auf einen Wechsel oder eine Variante des Automobilmodells kann dementsprechend durch Umprogrammierung der Bewegungen des Roboters schnell, das heißt ohne längere Produktionsunterbrechungen und ohne umfangreichen Wechsel der Montagewerkzeuge und damit ohne größere Kosten reagiert werden. Erst unmittelbar vor dem Aufbringen des Trägerprofiles auf die Trägerfläche wird das Klebstoffsystem mittels einer Aktivierungseinheit zur Wirkung gebracht. Das Auslösen der Reaktion des Klebstoffsystems kann beispielsweise durch Zufuhr von Ultraviolett- oder Infrarotstrahlung oder durch Druck erfolgen. Dieses Verfahren hat den Vorteil, daß während der Montage, wo es aus Kostengründen von erheblicher Bedeutung ist, Zeit einzusparen und möglichst wenig Störungen im Verfahrensablauf aufzuweisen, kein Klebstoffsystem aufgetragen werden muß.In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the carrier profile is already provided with an adhesive system during its manufacture. Die Erfindung ist anhand zweier Ausführungsbeispiele für Verfahren und Vorrichtung in den Figuren 1 und 2 dargestellt. Die Figuren 3 und 4 zeigen jeweils ein Trägerprofil mit einem Dichtungsprofil. Verfahren, Vorrichtung, Trägerprofile und Verbindungsbereiche werden im folgenden unter Bezugnahme auf die Figuren beschrieben. Figur 1 zeigt ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung, mittels deren das Klebstoffsystem unmittelbar vor dem Aufbringen des Trägerprofiles 1 auf die Trägerfläche 4 aufgetragen wird. Das Trägerprofil ist auf einem trommeiförmigen Speicher 2 aufgerollt. Das Trägerprofil wird von einer verfahrbaren Auftragseinrichtung 3 vom Speicher abgezogen und auf eine Trägerfläche 4, beispielsweise eine Türkarosserie oder einen Kofferraumverschluß geklebt. Die Bewegungen der Auftragseinrichtung werden der Kontur der Trägerfläche folgend programmiert. Die Auftragseinrichtung, ausgebildet als Industrieroboter, besteht aus Führungsrollen 5, die das Trägerprofil nach Austritt aus dem Speicher den Bewegungen der Austragseinrichtung folgend führen, einer weggesteuerten Schneideinheit 6, mittels derer das Trägerprofil nach Erreichen seiner Endlänge, beispielsweise nach Aufbringen des Trägerprofiles über den kompletten Umfang einer Tür, geschnitten wird, einem Kleberauftrag 7 mittels dessen das Klebstoffsystem auf die Trägerfläche aufgetragen wird und Andrück- und Führungsrollen 8, die das Trägerprofil umlenken und in das Klebstoffsystem drücken.The invention is illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 using two exemplary embodiments for the method and device. Figur 2 zeigt ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung, mittels derer ein selbstklebendes Trägerprofil 9 auf eine Trägerfläche 4 aufgebracht wird. Der Unterschied zu dem in Figur 1 beschriebenen Verfahren beziehungsweise der Vorrichtung besteht darin, daß das auf den Speicher 2 aufgerollte Trägerprofil 9 bereits bei dessen Herstellung mit einem Klebstoffsystem versehen wurde. Die Auftragseinrichtung 3 beinhaltet ebenfalls Führungsrollen 5, eine weggesteuerte Schneideeinheit 6 sowie Andrück- und Führungsrollen 8. Anstatt eines Kleberauftrages ist diese Auftragseinrichtung jedoch mit einer Aktivierungseinheit 10 ausgestattet. Diese setzt die Reaktion des Klebstoffsystems an der der Trägerfläche zugewandten Seite desTrägerprofils in Gang, indem sie beispielsweise Ultraviolett- oder Infrarotstrahlung oder Druck zuführt, bevor das Trägerprofil von den Andrück- und Führungsrollen auf die Trägerfläche 4 gedrückt wird.FIG. 2 shows a method and a device by means of which a self-adhesive carrier profile 9 is applied to a carrier surface 4. Figur 3 zeigt ein selbstklebendes Trägerprofil 9 mit aufgestecktem Dichtungsprofil 11 , das besonders vorteilhaft nach dem in Figur 2 dargestellten Verfahren, bzw. mit der in Figur 2 dargestellten Vorrichtung auf eine Trägerfläche 4 aufgebracht werden kann. Die geometrische Form des Trägerprofils wurde gewählt, um das Dichtungsprofil einfach auf das Trägerprofil aufstecken und wieder von diesem lösen zu können. An der der Trägerfläche zugewandten Seite ist in das Trägerprofil eine rinnenförmige Nut eingearbeitet, in die schon bei der Herstellung das Klebstoffsystem 12 aufgetragen wurde. Die Figur 4 zeigt ein Trägerprofil 1 mit einem Dichtungsprofil 11 , das sich in einen Verbindungsbereich 13 und einen Dichtbereich 14 aufteilt. In diesem Beispiel ist der Dichtbereich schlauchförmig bestehend aus Weichgummi ausgeführt; in anderen Anwendungsfällen der Erfindung kann er aber auch als Lippendichtung oder in einer anderen, dem Anwendungsfall angepaßten Form ausgebildet sein. In der schlauchförmigen Ausführung kann der Durchmesser des Dichtbereiches in Abhängigkeit von der Größe des abzudichtenden Spaltes gewählt werden. Der Dichtbereich beansprucht im gewählten Anwendungsbeispiel gegenüber dem mit ihm verbundenen, beispielsweise verklebten, Verbindungsbereich einen weitaus größeren Raum, damit der abzudichtende Raum bestmöglich ausgefüllt wird.FIG. 3 shows a self-adhesive carrier profile 9 with attached sealing profile 11, which can be applied to a carrier surface 4 particularly advantageously by the method shown in FIG. 2 or with the device shown in FIG. Daher ist auch in dem Anwendungsbeispiel der Dichtbereich aus Weichgummi ausgebildet, während der Verbindungsbereich des Dichtungsprofils und das Trägerprofil aus einem härterem Werkstoff bestehen, der einen guten Formschluß zwischen Verbindungsbereich und Trägerprofil und damit eine hohe Abzugskraft gewährleistet. Dabei ist der Werkstoff von Verbindungsbereich und Trägerprofil aber so zu wählen, daß beide Bestandteile flexibel dem Verlauf der Automobilkarosserie auch in Eckbereichen folgen können. Desweiteren muß der Werkstoff, aus dem das Trägerprofil besteht, klebefreundlich und in der Reaktion mit dem Klebstoffsystem beständig sein. Das Trägerprofil kann bereits im Herstellerwerk mit einem Klebstoffsystem 12 versehen werden, also selbstklebend sein, oder das Klebstoffsystem kann erst vor Aufbringen des Trägerprofils auf die Trägerfläche aufgetragen werden.Therefore, in the application example, the sealing area is made of soft rubber, while the connection area of the sealing profile and the support profile consist of a harder material, which ensures a good positive fit between the connection area and the support profile and thus a high pull-off force. Patentansprüche claims
1. Verfahren zum Aufbringen von Trägerprofilen (1) für Dichtungsprofile (11 ) an Trägerflächen (4), wie beispielsweise Türkarosserien und Kofferraumverschlüs- sen von Automobilen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Trägerprofil (1 ) mittels einer der Kontur der Trägerfläche folgenden Auftragseinrichtung (3) in Form eines Industrieroboters aus einem Speicher (2) herausgezogen und auf die Trägerfläche (4) geklebt wird.1.
