Claims (4)
- Revêtement hydrodynamique pour câble sous-marin, du type comportant un ensemble de «cheveux» (103) fixés sur la surface du câble (101), caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un filet à mailles larges (102) enfilé sur le câble, et en ce que les «cheveux» (103) sont fixés aux mailles de ce filet.
- Revêtement selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le filet (102) est réalisé dans une matière souple et élastique.
- Revêtement selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 et 2, caractérisé en ce que les «cheveux» (103) sont fixés aux croisements des mailles.
- Procédé de mise en place d'un revêtement selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que l'on stocke le filet de manière lâche sur un réceptacle (204) en forme de bouteille comportant une partie évasée et une partie rétrécie, et en ce que l'on enfile le câble nu (201) du côté évasé du réceptacle pour le faire ressortir du côté rétréci en dévidant le revêtement par ce côté rétréci au fur et à mesure que le câble avance dans le réceptacle afin que dans ce mouvement le revêtement vienne recouvrir le câble.
