Machine for producing and/or finishing a fibrous web (1), having a water-jet cutting device for separating a strip (7) from a moving paper, board, tissue or other fibrous web (1), having at least one nozzle (2), whose water jet is aimed at the fibrous web (1), the water-jet cutting device being arranged in the region of the drying section in the free draw of the fibrous web (1),
    characterized in that
    the water-jet cutting device is arranged approximately above a pulper (6) for collecting the separated strip (7) of the fibrous web (1) and manages without any vacuum systems when leading the separated strip (7) away, and a supporting plate being arranged in a cutting region on the side of the fibrous web (1) opposite the nozzle (2).
  2. Machine according to Claim 1, characterized in that the supporting plate (3) forms a sliding surface which runs approximately parallel to the fibrous web (1).
  3. Machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, at least in the state in which it is not loaded by the water jet, the fibrous web (1) runs along the supporting plate (3) at a distance.
  4. Machine according to Claim 3, characterized in that the distance between fibrous web (1) and the sliding surface of the supporting plate (3) lies in the range from 0 to 2 mm, preferably between 0 and 0.5 mm.
  5. Machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the course of the separated strip (7) after the supporting plate (3) is influenced by a guide device, preferably in the form of a guide plate and/or a guide part (10) of the supporting plate (3) and/or a compressed air nozzle and/or a water-jet nozzle (9).
  6. Machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the nozzle (2) and/or the supporting plate (3) and/or the guide device can be adjusted in their position.
  7. Machine according to Claim 6, characterized in that the water-jet cutting device is arranged at the end of a drying group, preferably after the last drying cylinder (4) of the drying group.
  8. Machine according to Claim 7, characterized in that the water-jet cutting device is arranged between a drying cylinder (4) and a following guide roll (5).
