Abstract

A sling band for lifting loads is disclosed. The sling band has a first band, a second band and overlapping areas, whereby the ends of the bands lead into the overlapping areas. The first band includes first warp threads and the second band includes second warp threads, whereby the warp threads, together with weft threads, form a first and a second weave. In the overlapping areas, the warp threads are joined to one another where they form a web construction with the weft threads. The web construction includes at least one additional third weave that differs from the first and second weaves. A portion of the warp threads has a lower melting point than that of the remaining warp threads thus enabling the interwoven overlapping areas to be provided with increased strength using a weld.

Description

Hebeband lifting sling
The invention relates to a lifting sling according to patent claim 1 and uses thereof according to patent claims 6 to 8.
Lifting straps are used in transportation and especially in the construction industry.
Woven single or double-layer endless lifting straps are used in large quantities for lifting loads in accordance with the European standards EN 1492-1 (safety: requirements for flat woven lifting straps made of synthetic fibers) and EN 1492-2 (safety: requirements for round slings made of synthetic fibers). 1 shows the view of a known, single-layer endless lifting belt in accordance with EN 1492-1. These textile tapes are sewn together so that they receive the appropriate delivery form for the user.
According to US Pat. No. 5,498,047, a textile, abrasion-resistant lifting sling is known in which tissue zones lying one above the other are sewn together.
Disadvantages are the very labor-intensive sewing processes, whereby the original strength of the tape is reduced. For this reason, the strength of the tape used must be chosen significantly higher than would be required for the intended application. Tests have shown that replacement of the sewing process by welding or gluing has largely failed for safety reasons. Only in a few applications in which the strength or the breaking load played a subordinate role has welding become established. Weld seams on textile tapes have the disadvantage that a weakening of the material occurs directly next to the weld seam, which can be more or less strong. It is also known that so-called needle looms for textile tapes can be used to weave several fabric layers directly one above the other. The connection between the fabric layers has so far proven unsuitable for the use of lifting straps. Surprisingly, it has now been shown that a sufficient overlap of two fabric layers woven over one another and a special woven construction according to the invention can result in a safe breaking load suitable for endless lifting tapes.
It is the object of the present invention to propose a lifting strap in which a sewing process can be dispensed with, as a result of which the disadvantages mentioned are eliminated.
Another object is to describe various uses of such lifting straps.
According to the invention, this object is achieved with a lifting strap according to the wording according to claim 1 and with uses according to the wording according to claim 6 to 8.
Es zeigen:The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. Show it:

Fig. 1 shows the perspective view of a known, single-layer endless lifting belt. The two ends 1 and 1 'of a tape 10 are placed one above the other in an overlap area 2 and sewn, in a variety of ways can be done.
A band 20 consists of two layers 3 and 3 ', which were woven as a two-layer band, the weaving points 4 and 4' being superimposed during the weaving. The belt 20 has a weaving point 5, from which the two warp sheets of the layers 3 and 3 'are combined, which results in an overlap area 7 of the warp sheets up to a further weaving point 6, in which the two warp sheets are interwoven with one another by means of a special weaving construction , The first band 3 has first warp threads 8 and the second band 3 'has second warp threads 8', the warp threads 8, 8 'forming a first and a second weave with weft threads. The warp threads 8, 8 'are brought together in the overlap regions 7, 7', where they form a weave construction with the weft threads which has at least one further third weave, which differs from the first and second weave. In this way, a two-layer tape is formed in the overlap area 7, which is characterized by particular strength. The weaving point 6 is also an interface at which the tape is cut. In an analogous manner, the band 20 has a weaving point 5 ', a weaving point 6' and an overlap area T with the difference that the weaving process, starting with the weaving point 6 ', initially creates a two-layer band in the overlapping area T, and then at the weaving point with divided warp webs to weave in two layers, creating layers 3 and 3 '. The endless lifting belt according to the invention is thus produced by simply cutting off or separating it from an endless woven material which alternately consists of a two-layer band 3, 3 'and single-layer overlap regions 7, T. Since the weave constructions used in the overlap regions 7, 7 'have sufficient strength in many cases, endless lifting straps can thus advantageously be produced by bypassing any sewing process. If a fiber with a lower melting point is selected for part of the warp threads 8, 8 'than is the case for the other warp threads, an increased strength can then be achieved in the interweaving overlap regions 7, T by welding.
Fig. 3 zeigt eine Draufsicht eines erfindungsgemässen Endloshebebandes. Erkennbar sind die zweilagigen Band 3, die einlagigen Überlappungsbereiche 7, 7' mit den Webstellen 5, 5' und die Webstellen 6, 6', die gleichzeitig auch die Schnittstellen des Endloshebebandes 20 darstellen.3 shows a plan view of an endless lifting belt according to the invention. recognizable are the two-layer tape 3, the single-layer overlap areas 7, 7 'with the weaving points 5, 5' and the weaving points 6, 6 ', which at the same time also represent the interfaces of the endless lifting belt 20.
Fig. 4 zeigt ein erstes Ausführungsbeispiel eines Endloshebebandes mit einer Bruchkraft von 800 kg.Fig. 4 shows a first embodiment of an endless lifting belt with a breaking force of 800 kg.
A 25 mm wide band made of high-strength polyester fibers was woven for two days to create a light width of 20 cm. The fiber strength was greater than 80 cN / Tex. In the overlap areas, the two layers were woven over a length of 2.5 cm.
Fig. 5 shows a second embodiment of a lifting strap as a lanyard for a ski binding in plan view.
A 12 mm wide band made of polyamide fibers was woven in two layers to create a light width of 22 cm. In the overlap areas, the two layers were woven over a length of 1.5 cm. After the tape had been cut off, it was turned and additionally sewn in the overlap areas. The result was a load capacity of more than 200 daN.
Fig. 6 shows a third embodiment of a lifting strap with molded clamping element as a lashing strap. A lifting strap 10, which essentially corresponds to FIG. 4, is designed here for a load capacity of 300 kg. It is now inserted into an injection mold with which a clamping element 30 with a clamping bracket 31 made of plastic can be injected. The woven overlap areas are 3.5 cm long.
Fig. 7 shows a fourth embodiment of a multiple arrangement of a lifting strap as a material loop in plan view.
A 19 mm wide band made of polyamide fibers is woven in such a way that four openings 32, 32 ', 32 "of 8 cm are created, which are each delimited by overlapping areas 7, T. The latter are each 18 mm long. A lifting strap of this type is mainly used for technical climbing use, the material loop being used to hold carabiners 34 and similar equipment.
