Abstract

1. Paper making machine wire comprising an upper fabric of any kind of binding and a lower fabric of any kind of binding which both are provided with an own system of binding treads, characterized in that the two binding threads systems their selves are connected to one-another.

Description

The invention relates to a paper machine screen, consisting of an upper fabric of any type of weave and a lower fabric of any type of weave, both of which are equipped with their own system of binding threads.

Gewebelagen durch eine Bindekette oder einen Bindeschuss miteinander verbunden sind, gehören seit langem zum Stand der Technik (DE-PS 2455185, DE-PS 2917694).Multi-layer screens and composite fabrics, in particular paper machine screens, in which the individual screen layers or fabric layers are connected to one another by a binding chain or a binding weft, have long been part of the prior art (DE-PS 2455185, DE-PS 2917694).

In this context, a two-layer forming fabric consisting of upper fabric and lower fabric has to be regarded as known, in which a single-layer screen in plain weave is used as the upper fabric and a double-layer lower screen is used as the lower fabric. The connection between the top and bottom wire is made with a weft thread of the bottom wire as well as with a separate binding weft. All of these numerous and diverse possibilities of connecting fabric and non-woven fabric layers of multi-layer screens or composite fabrics, which also include the use of auxiliary weft or auxiliary warp threads, have the ultimate goal, at least as far as the papermaker fabric is concerned, as simple as possible, corresponding to the strength requirements. to create non-marking upper fabric from the finest possible yarn with a lower fabric with high wear resistance and longitudinal and transverse stability, which also favors the paper stock drainage in the wet end of a paper machine.

The object of the invention is to further improve the progress achieved so far in the field of binding technology between the various layers of such fabrics with regard to the properties specified above.

According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the two binding thread systems are themselves connected to one another. The use of the binding thread systems themselves as connecting elements between the individual fabric layers of sieve belts not only opens up a wide range of possibilities for even more special adaptation of such multi-layer sieves to the specific application or intended use and the prevailing conditions of use, since the binding systems as separate components meet the special requirements of the binding qualities can be produced adapted, but also increases the life of such screens or composite fabrics. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are characterized in the subclaims.

In derZeichnung zeigt:

The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the embodiments shown in the drawing. The drawing shows:
  • 11 shows a schematic, perspective top view of a binding thread system which consists of a cross-stitch of longitudinal and transverse threads,
  • 2 is a top perspective view of a scrim, corresponding to FIG. 1, but in which the longitudinal and transverse threads are woven into the upper and lower fabrics,
  • 3 shows a perspective top view of a binding thread system forming a separate sieve, the one thread group being incorporated into the upper fabric and the other into the lower fabric, and
  • 4 shows a perspective top view of a binding thread system in which a part of the binding threads is neither connected to the upper nor to the lower fabric.

The system of crossing binding threads can be both an independent fabric and a scrim. A scrim is understood to mean a system of longitudinal threads 1 and transverse threads 2, which are not interwoven, but are placed one above the other, as can be seen from FIG. 1. Above such a system there is an upper fabric (not shown) of any type of weave and below it a lower fabric (also not shown) of any type of weave.

Instead of a single-layer binding system consisting of crossing longitudinal and transverse threads, as shown in FIG. 1, a multi-layer system of this type can also be used.

By appropriately weaving the crossing longitudinal and transverse threads into the upper and lower fabrics, a firm anchoring can be achieved both between the two fabrics and within the scrim, as can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2. In certain cases it may be sufficient if only a part of the binding thread system is woven into the upper fabric, just as only a part of the binding thread system can be woven into the lower fabric.

There is also the possibility that only a part of the binding thread system forms a scrim or a fabric, wherein several scrims and / or fabrics can also be used as part of the binding thread system, although these cases are not shown in the drawing.

In the embodiment shown in the drawing in FIG. 2, the transverse thread 2 of the multiple layer is woven into the upper fabric, and the transverse thread 3 is woven into the lower fabric. The cross thread 4 is not woven with either the upper or the lower fabric. Part of the longitudinal threads 1 is bound into the lower fabric and part into the upper fabric.

Twine that does not bind to either the upper or the lower fabric is assigned to the fabric with which the twine system is woven. For example, the thread 7 in FIG. 4 is assigned to the binding thread system of the lower fabric. However, there are also binding threads, for example thread 4 in FIG. 2, which are optionally assigned to both binding thread systems that can. In this case, this thread group forms a multiple fabric with both binding thread systems or it creates a fabric with both binding thread systems. In both cases, this thread group serves to connect the two binding thread systems, which would otherwise remain separate.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the binding thread system forms a separate sieve, in which one thread group 6 binds into the upper fabric and the other thread group 5 into the lower fabric. A suitable selection of the distances, diameters and materials of the threads of the binding thread system enables optimum binding point distributions to be achieved while substantially reducing the risk of marking the paper web lying on the upper fabric.

All attempts on fine paper machines with composite fabrics woven together by binding chains or binding wefts have so far failed because the binding forces were transferred directly from the very stiff, coarse lower fabric to the fine, compliant upper fabric via the binding threads, which had the consequence that both in the manufacture of the screen (Weaving and fixing) as well as depressions in the fine upper fabric caused by the binding threads in use on the paper machine, which caused corresponding formation disorders and markings in the paper.

Due to the special elasticity of the binding thread systems according to the invention described here, such disturbances are avoided from the outset.

Obergewebe verbunden. The possibility already mentioned above that a part of the threads of the binding thread system does not bind into either the upper or the lower fabric is indicated in FIG. 4 by the design and course of the transverse thread 7. Only the longitudinal threads 5 and the transverse threads 6 are connected to the lower and upper fabrics.

To further improve the uniformity of the surface structure of the upper fabric and thus in particular to avoid markings, at least some of the binding threads of the binding thread systems can consist of spirals, wherein at least some of the spirals can also be designed as double spirals, which then advantageously consist of polyamide and polyester. Such binder thread systems, which form an intermediate fabric and / or intermediate layer, connect the upper fabric to the lower fabric of the paper machine screen in a way which not only improves the quality of the paper produced on it, but also the quality of the screen itself, by in the case of plastic screens, it promotes a compensation of the stresses that occur during thermosetting.
