Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for operating a dishwasher according to the preamble of
There are known dishwashers in which a rinse tank can be sealed by a door. When opening this door during operation, the liquid supply to sprayers is interrupted as quickly as possible, so that the user and the environment is not splashed with rinsing liquid.

Furthermore, dishwashers are known in which the ware to be cleaned through a tunnel-like wash compartment by means of a conveyor, so-called continuous dishwashers. Even when opening an access to this washing the liquid supply to sprayers for the above reason is interrupted as quickly as possible.
In all types of dishwashers, it happens again and again that the spray openings of the sprayer over time by deposits, especially calcium deposits, partially or completely clogging, so that no more, enough or no rinsing liquid can pass through the spray holes. This leads to poor cleaning results. Such blockages of the spray openings are hardly or not recognizable to the user of the dishwasher, so that no remedy can be made.
The invention has for its object to make the user of a dishwasher of any kind clogging of the spray openings easily recognizable.
The solution of the object is achieved in a method for operating a dishwasher according to the invention according to
A simple way of reducing the flow rate according to the invention is that, depending on the open position of the washing compartment, the pump speed is lowered, so that its delivery rate is reduced to such an extent that no spraying of washing liquid into the free environment occurs. Depending on the open position of the washing compartment can be acted upon the electrical control circuit of the pump so as to reduce their flow rate. It can be switched back first to a certain minimum capacity. It is then possible by means of a control circuit arranged in the pump, manually adjustable control member, for example a potentiometer, to regulate a suitable for the review of the pump delivery capacity.
A reduction of the flow rate can also be achieved according to the invention in that, depending on the open position of the washing compartment, at least one throttle element reducing the flow rate is activated in the feed line from the pump to the spray unit. In this case, the pump can be operated at normal power and the throttle body provides for the reduction of the flow rate. It may again be advantageous that the flow rate of the throttle body is adjustable.
As a throttle body, a pressure reducing valve can be used. It is also possible to provide a throttle element as an orifice element whose aperture is adjusted by means of a driven depending on the open position of the Spülraums drive member in the direction of reduced transmissibility or to use a controlled in two-stroke valve, the two-stroke control function of the open position of the washing compartment in Gear is set.
The above-mentioned object is achieved in a dishwashing machine which can be operated according to the above-described method in that a control unit is provided by which the pump can be switched on and the flushing liquid can be opened directly or indirectly when the washing compartment is accessible Open position of the Spülraums detecting sensor is present, through which a throttling of the flow rate of rinsing liquid is triggered by the spray openings with accessible Spülraum. By means of the control, a test program can be activated by the pump is switched on and the supply of rinsing liquid is released even with accessible Spülraum. At the same time, the flow rate at the spray openings is reduced by the sensor detecting the open position of the flushing chamber. This is a check of the permeability of the spray holes possible without the risk of leakage of rinsing fluid from the washing.
The sensor can be turned on in response to the actuation of the control program activating the test program.
It is expedient if the electrical control circuit of the pump is influenced by a control signal of the sensor in the sense of a reduction in the delivery rate of the pump. About their electrical control circuit, the pump in their speed and thus in their capacity will be shut down so far that no spraying of flushing fluid out of the washing out to the outside.
Another possibility for reducing the flow rate is that in the supply line from the pump to the spray device is arranged in its flow rate adjustable by a control signal of the sensor throttle member.
As a throttling device can advantageously be provided a pressure reducing valve or an orifice element whose aperture is adjustable by a control signal of the sensor in the sense of reducing the flow rate. If such throttling devices are used, then the pump can also be operated at its normal capacity while carrying out a check on the permeability of the spray orifices.
Reference to an embodiment shown in schematic form in the drawing, the invention will be explained in more detail below.
Die Zufuhr der Spülflüssigkeit zur Pumpe 8 erfolgt über eine Zuflussleitung 11.1 denotes a dishwasher, which in the embodiment shown, a pull-
In the course of the
In order to be able to carry out the checking of the permeability of the
By pressing the
In a dishwasher in which a rinse tank can be sealed by a door, the flow rate of rinsing fluid through the spray holes is so far reduced when selecting the test program by the user while the door is open, that at the spray openings no strong jet occurs through the opened door opening could escape from the washing compartment, so that the individual spray openings can be observed and specifically cleaned if necessary. In a continuous dishwashing machine with the washing compartment under a tunnel-shaped cover, when the test program is selected by the user and at the same time the washing compartment is accessible, e.g. also reduces the flow rate of rinsing liquid through the spray holes by partially opened, lifted or tilted tunnel-shaped cover of the washing so that no strong jet occurs at the spray holes, which could escape from the washing so that the individual spray holes are observed and selectively cleaned if necessary can.
With the invention, it has been possible to make the user of dishwashers of any kind clogging of the spray openings easily recognizable.
