Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a component for producing a door leaf for a sectional door with a in the assembled state of the door leaf the interior of the door to be closed Room facing inner boundary surface and one of these boundary surface opposite outer boundary surface, at least one of which is at least partially formed by a wooden element and a method of manufacturing of a panel for a sectional door leaf using such a component.
Door leaves of sectional doors can run along a given path between one Closed position, in which they are arranged essentially in a vertical plane and an open position in which they are generally overhead essentially in a horizontal plane are arranged to be moved without the door leaf in the front swings out space to be locked. In addition, the door leaves of sectional gates from a plurality of arranged one behind the other in the door leaf movement direction Panels formed around pivot axes perpendicular to the given path are pivotally connected to each other so that the individual panels in the course an arcuate arranged between the open position and the closed position Section of the predetermined path can be pivoted against each other.
Usually the outer and inner boundary surfaces of the panels are more conventional Sectional door leaves made of sheet steel. The boundary surfaces to improve the external appearance of the door leaf with in general freely selectable embossments. Nevertheless, this external appearance conventional sectional door leaves are considered unsatisfactory in some cases. Therefore, it has already been proposed to make the panels of wooden sectional door leaves manufacture. This can improve the external appearance of the door leaves can be achieved, however, due to the significantly higher material prices of wood is associated with a large increase in costs.
In the field of conventional up-and-over doors, door leaves have already been proposed to produce from wood in which a frame on both sides with the formation of a cavity a planking of boards or panels is provided. Such a door leaf for up-and-over doors is specified for example in DE 41 19 933 C2. In this way, the use of materials and thus the price for corresponding door leaves can be significantly reduced. When operating the door leaves just described, it has been shown that it is too Damage in the area of the connection between the frame and the planking comes. To remedy this defect, DE 41 19 933 C2 proposes that To connect planking to the frame using an intermediate layer of elastic material. When adopting the construction for the production known from the cited document of panels of sectional door leaves, however, it has been shown that through this measure does not reliably damage the door leaf during operation can be prevented.
In view of these problems in the prior art, the object of the invention to provide a component for producing a door leaf for a sectional door, which on the one hand has an appealing external appearance of the door leaf allows, on the other hand, is inexpensive to manufacture and also for longer periods Operation shows no operational damage.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by developing the known components solved, which is essentially characterized in that between the inner Boundary surface and the outer boundary surface is essentially one Insulating material existing core element is arranged.
This invention is based on the knowledge that when operating sectional doors in contrast to the operation of conventional tilting gates in the area of the arch Section of the path of movement of the door leaf a strong excitation of vibrations the outer and inner boundary surfaces of the wooden elements forming the panels occur, if a cavity is formed between these wooden elements, as in DE 41 19 933 C2 described. These vibrations lead to a detachment of the boundary surfaces forming wooden elements from the frame, which eventually leads to the observed damage leads.
In the component according to the invention, the vibrations of the boundary surfaces forming wooden elements by providing the core element in between damped so much that the planking no longer comes off the frame and corresponding damage is reliably excluded. It can Core element made of any and generally inexpensive insulation material be formed so that the improvement achieved according to the invention without significant Additional cost is achieved. In this context, it has proven to be particularly cheap proven if the insulation material is a foamed plastic, such as a PU foam is.
The cladding of components according to the invention can be in the form of continuous There are wooden panels. On the other hand, there is also the realization of the planking thought by so-called lamella plates, which in turn consist of a large number of them connected wooden slats exist. Especially with the last one described Embodiment of the invention has been to avoid impairment of the external appearance of the component in the area of the butt joints between the individual slats proved to be particularly favorable if between the core element and At least one of the wooden elements has a connecting element arranged, for example can be formed in the form of a thin chipboard. In this way in any case prevents the core element, which is generally in the form of a foam is visible from the outside. In terms of stabilizing components according to the invention it has proven to be advantageous that in the area at least one in the assembled state a sectional door leaf made from it facing another component Longitudinal edge of the component at least one further dimensionally stable core element is arranged. This further core element can be used to simplify further processing Components according to the invention for panels of sectional door leaves made of wood. For the reasons explained in DE 41 19 933 C2, it has improved the Adhesion between the further core element and the wooden elements has proven to be favorable, if in between another preferably made of a resilient material Connection element is arranged. This can be another connection element for example in the form of a fleece. Additionally or alternatively, you can also the elastic materials for manufacturing described in DE 41 19 933 C2 further connecting element can be used. The revelation content of this Writing becomes with regard to the connection between the wooden element or the planking and the further core element or the framework hereby by express reference included in this description. To provide a universally applicable An intermediate component according to the invention can be essentially cuboid be formed with boundary surfaces running approximately perpendicular to each other.
When operating sectional gates, the area of the arcuate section the predetermined path of movement between successive panels further course of the movement again closing gap occur, the intervention of Fingers allowed and thus represents a considerable risk of injury. As is known, this risk can be reduced by having the panels in the area of their longitudinal edges a projection or an indentation suitable for receiving this projection have, which are such that the projection in the region of the arcuate portion the predetermined path while avoiding a finger intervention Gap is pivoted from an indentation of an adjacent panel. Such constructions are for example in EP 304 642 B1 and EP 370 324 B1 described. The revelation content of these writings in terms of form and functional Interaction of protrusions and indentations of adjacent panels is hereby incorporated into this description by express reference. The Component according to the invention can also be used to ensure finger protection in the Area of one of its longitudinal edges a projection extending along this longitudinal edge have and / or with a shape of a projection in the region of the longitudinal edge of an adjacent panel adapted recess. such Components can be manufactured particularly easily in terms of production technology, if at first an essentially cuboidal intermediate product and this to Obtained the protrusion and / or the indentation on the longitudinal edges thereof processed becomes. The processing can be done with an intermediate product further core element made of wood can be done by a simple milling machine.
