Description

The present invention relates to an operating table, of the type comprising:
  • a support block of the kidneys of the patient, which block is movable relative to the structure of the operating table between a retracted position and an extended position; and
  • at least one operating mechanism of the block between its two positions, which mechanism is equipped with an actuator whose first end is connected to the structure of the operating table.

The block on the operating tables is intended to lift the kidneys of a patient lying on the operating table to facilitate certain surgical procedures that require extensive stretching of tissues at the pelvis.

This block is commonly positioned in the middle region of the operating table. It is handled by the operating room staff after positioning the patient on the operating table.

Current surgical methods increasingly require, during operations, medical imaging means. Thus, many devices must be placed around and under the operating table, which requires to reduce as much as possible the size of it and in particular of its spars or uprights. Consequently, the block, and in particular its operating mechanism, must have as small a footprint as possible.

Previously known solutions for moving the block are unsatisfactory.

In particular, it is known to provide logs formed of an air bag, the height of the block being adjusted according to the amount of air introduced into the air bag. When this bag is not completely inflated, to obtain an intermediate elevation of the patient, the block is too soft, prohibiting satisfactory immobilization of the patient.

Logs are also known whose operating mechanism includes a rack integral with the block, which rack cooperates with a pinion driven by a motor secured to the table top.

Such an arrangement is relatively bulky because of the travel movement of the rack, the rack protruding from the side rails of the table under the plate when the block is in the retracted position.

The invention aims to provide an operating table equipped with a movable block whose operating mechanism is compact.

The articulation 54 comprises two stops adapted to limit the angular displacement of the block around a median position illustrated on the figure 3 . In particular, these stops are suitable for preventing the slice of the block from coming into contact with the patient.

A son autre extrémité notée 56, la deuxième bielle 48 est reliée à la structure de la table d'opération et plus précisément au longeron 28.At its other end noted 56, the second connecting rod 48 is connected to the structure of the operating table and more precisely to the spar 28.

Cette articulation s'effectue autour d'un axe d'articulation 62.For this purpose, a third connecting rod 58 is articulated from one of its ends 60 to the end 56 of the second connecting rod 48. This articulation takes place around a hinge axis 62.

A son autre extrémité notée 64, la troisième bielle 58 est articulée par rapport au longeron 28 autour d'un axe d'articulation 66.At its other end denoted 64, the third connecting rod 58 is articulated with respect to the spar 28 about an axis of articulation 66.

All the axes of articulation of the operating mechanism 26 extend parallel to each other and transversely to the plane of movement of the jack 30 and rods 38, 48 and 58.

Furthermore, the hinge pins 34, 42 and 66, respectively of the cylinder, the first connecting rod and the third connecting rod with respect to the spar 28, are aligned.

De même, sur la deuxième bielle 48, l'axe d'articulation 50 est plus proche de l'axe d'articulation 62 que du point de liaison du billot 24 à la deuxième bielle, à savoir l'axe d'articulation 54.In addition, and advantageously, in order to reduce the displacement travel of the end 36 of the actuator and its angular displacement about the axis 34, the hinge axis 44 is closer to the axis of articulation 42 of the hinge axis 50. Similarly, on the second connecting rod 48, the hinge axis 50 is closer to the hinge axis 62 than the connecting point of the block 24 to the second connecting rod. , namely the hinge axis 54.

The operating mechanism shown in the figures allows a substantially straight displacement of the block 24 in a direction extending perpendicularly to the plane defined by the seat 18 and the longitudinal members 28.

This movement is effected between a retracted position, in which the operating mechanism is in its illustrated position on the figure 2 , and its deployed position, in which the operating mechanism is in its illustrated position on the figures 1 and 3 .

The movements of the elements of the operating mechanisms 26 are carried out in parallel planes extending perpendicularly to the seat 18 and along the length of the table.

Simultanément au soulèvement de la deuxième bielle, celle-ci se déplace angulairement autour de l'axe 62 sous l'action de la première bielle 38, ce déplacement angulaire s'effectuant suivant le sens de la flèche F2.From the position of the operating mechanism illustrated on the figure 2 when the jack 30 is biased, it pushes the first link 38 in the direction of the arrow F1 to cause the angular displacement thereof around the hinge axis 42. During this movement, the end 46 of the first connecting rod causes the lifting of the second connecting rod 48 with respect to the spar 28. To do this, the third rod 58 turns around the hinge axis 66 in the direction of the arrow F3. Simultaneously with the lifting of the second connecting rod, it moves angularly around the axis 62 under the action of the first link 38, this angular displacement being effected in the direction of the arrow F2.

On comprend que le déplacement angulaire de la première bielle 38 suivant un premier sens, combiné au déplacement angulaire induit de la deuxième bielle 48 suivant un sens opposé, conduit à un déplacement vertical du billot 28 sensiblement suivant un trajet rectiligne illustré par la flèche F4.It will be understood that the angular displacement of the first link 38 in a first direction, combined with the induced angular displacement of the second link 48 in an opposite direction, leads to a vertical displacement of the block 28 substantially in a straight path illustrated by the arrow F4.

De plus, l'axe de l'actionneur s'étend toujours sensiblement perpendiculairement à la direction de déplacement du billot 24.Due to the position of the hinge pins 44 and 50 along the lengths of the first and second links, a small displacement of the movable end 36 of the jack causes a large displacement of the block 24. In addition, the axis of the actuator always extends substantially perpendicular to the direction of movement of the block 24.

Le déplacement du billot 24 vers sa position escamotée s'effectue de manière analogue et inverse sous l'action du vérin 30 rappelant la première bielle 38.The displacement of the block 24 towards its retracted position is carried out analogously and inversely under the action of the jack 30 recalling the first connecting rod 38.

Elles s'étendent alors le long du vérin 30.In the retracted position of the block, the three connecting rods 38, 48 and 58 are received inside the spar 28. They then extend along the jack 30.

The operating table described here comprises a block whose operating mechanisms are of a very small footprint. These can, in fact, totally retract inside the side members of the operating table when the block is in the retracted position.

The use of rods hinged relative to each other avoids the use of translational elements other than the cylinder, thereby reducing the space required for the rectilinear movement of these elements.

The presence of the slot 34B in the tab 35 provides an additional degree of freedom for the movement of the cylinder relative to the pin 34A. This degree of freedom allows to limit the retraction of the block under the action of the actuator in case an object or a member would hinder the movement of the block. Thus, the risk of damage to an object or limb stuck under the block is reduced. The additional degree of freedom of The operating mechanism may, alternatively, be obtained by the implementation of an elastic connecting lug.
