Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for producing a roll of a flat web material, wherein initially a flat web produced by a known method is, wherein this flat web is wound into a roll.
- one-sided adhesive or double-sided adhesive tapes are used in the paper-making and processing industries. Both methods do not offer the possibility to use this glue for the actual "flying splice". With the use of retaining labels in combination with double-sided adhesive tapes, there is the danger that these labels are torn by the tensions that can arise in the paper roll during storage. With one-sided adhesive tapes, the adhesive tape is glued parallel to the winding direction of the roll. Thus, there is no more free bonding surface for the actual splice available.
- a particular form of adhesive tape for end-of-roll bonding is described in CA 2,113,932. Here, the carrier splits, releasing the new paper web without sticky residues remaining.
- the adhesive tapes used are usually characterized by particularly shear-resistant, usually water-soluble adhesives, on the one hand eliminate the risk of failure of Rollenendverklebung at high tensile stresses that exist within a paper roll, but on the other hand because of their water-soluble self-adhesives and paper carriers for reuse of paper waste in Do not disturb the paper machine.
- Such paper rolls often go through a splicing process during further processing in which the uppermost web of the new roll is glued to the end of the running, almost used roll in order to produce a paper web which continuously passes through in the paper processing process.
- the adhesive tapes for the Rollenendverklebung must therefore be replaced before the splicing process against such, which can convey the bonding with the trajectory.
- the role end bonding takes place repeatedly in the paper processing industry, for example after papermaking on the paper machine, after rewinding before the coating machine, after coating on the coating machine, after calendering, after slitting, before shipping. Then, before further processing of the paper rolls, the roll end bonding must be removed and a functioning splice adhesive tape glued. If the rolls are sent to the customer and he has to do a splice, he also has to remove the roll end gluing and reinstall a splice tape. This process requires trained personnel, since the requirements for precise bonding are very high. Depending on the further processing, this tape must be either high-tack or high-shear strength.
- the object of the invention is to prepare for the process of flying To facilitate roll change while at the same time the process reliability improve.
- claim 1 relates to a method for producing a roll of flat web material, wherein first a flat web is produced by a known method, said flat web is wound into a roll, and further wherein the end portion of the flat web with a spliceable adhesive tape on the roll is glued without the end portion of the flat web was previously glued to the roll.
- the flat web material is preferably paper, in the flat webs paper webs. Very advantageous this first Verklebungs suits already takes place directly at the paper manufacturer. Furthermore, a self-adhesive tape is used very advantageously as adhesive tape.
- the preparation of the new roll takes place only once. Associated with this is a quality assurance, since the role already factory - and here by specially trained professionals - equipped with the adhesive tape, which can be used for the splicing process during the flying reel change. The customer can thus be offered and delivered a finished, prepared product, whereby the product warranty can already be taken over by the manufacturer. Through the preparation by a specially trained team, a consistent quality standard is ensured, the failure rate during the flying reel change is minimized. The end user, who performs the flying role change, saves the step of role preparation and the specialist personnel required for this purpose and can rationalize its operation accordingly.
- he can order prepared rolls with high-tack or high-shear-strength, spliceable self-adhesive tapes without having to stock different spliceable self-adhesive tapes.
- the bonding of the end region serves to fix the end of the paper web (the flag) on the roll.
- an adhesive tape is used, which for Fixation of the flat web is glued under this.
- Adhesive tape used which has an at least partially split-carrier.
- an adhesive tape is used with a support consisting of at least two together connected layers, the connection during the splicing process is solved.
- adhesive tapes with water-soluble self-adhesive may also be appropriate constructed adhesive tapes are used in which the adhesive is not is water-soluble.
- the adhesive tapes used can furthermore have a (mechanically) detectable layer contain (aluminum, colored or optical marks, transponders etc), so that the processor further detect the tape without contact and / or sort out can.
- a detectable layer contain (aluminum, colored or optical marks, transponders etc)
- the bonding can be done in the inventive method directly under the end edge of the paper web, but also at some distance from this. If the fixation takes place directly on the edge, the adhesive tape is glued under the edge in such a way that a part of the adhesive tape protrudes below the edge.
- the outstanding under the edge part of the adhesive tape is preferably initially covered with a release or covering medium (release paper, masking paper, cover or the like).
- the separation medium is advantageously provided with a perforation or slot in the longitudinal direction.
- the bonding of the end region of the flat web preferably takes place in such a way that the Adhesive tape runs perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the flat web, but it can also be a Gluing done at an oblique angle.
- a spiutzer Angle of up to 25 °, in particular of up to 15 ° can be selected.
- the inventive method is particularly advantageous as follows:
- the flat web material is wound into a roll and adhered for Rollenendverkleben an adhesive tape under the moving web on the roll, so that the splitting system adhered to the roll.
- This Rollenendverklebung has a high resistance to tensions in the paper roll, since the splitting system is bonded over the full width on the paper roll and thus withstands high voltages.
- the flat web material can now be rolled up a few turns in addition, so that the bond is protected by the wound paper. This roll can then be packed for final transport with side windows and an outer packaging.
- the user of the finished rolls now has the opportunity to use them as needed in the following manner.
- the side windows are removed first, then the outer packaging.
- a tear strip is integrated on the remaining release medium, or the remaining release medium itself constitutes the tear strip.
- the inventive method allows the entire transport in the processing Automate industry.
- the adhesive tape used according to the invention combines in itself the function of the adhesive tape for Rollenendverklebung and that of the Splicing tape. It can also be of one person over large railway widths (for example, more than 5 m) are applied; complicated aids or Mechanics can be omitted.
- the invention relates to a role of a flat web material, wherein the End of the flat track for the first time with a spliceable adhesive tape on the roll is glued, in particular a role of a flat web material, wherein for the Bonding an adhesive tape is used for the flying reel change, with a Paper carrier and a water-soluble self-adhesive, wherein the paper carrier coated on one side with a water-soluble self-adhesive, and a Edge area of the back of the paper carrier with a double-sided adhesive Adhesive tape is equipped, which in turn has a spliceable paper carrier, which is equipped on both sides with water-soluble self-adhesive.

Abstract
