Definitions
- the invention relates to a high-level built-in cooking appliance according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
- the wall oven known from WO 98/04871 should be considered as a generic high-level built-in cooking appliance.
- the wall oven has a cooking chamber or an oven chamber which is surrounded by side walls, a front, rear and top wall and has a bottom-side oven chamber opening, the wall oven having its rear wall to be fastened to a wall in the manner of a wall cabinet.
- the bottom furnace chamber opening can be closed with a lowerable bottom door.
- a support arrangement or a holding part for baking trays and other oven accessories is held on the top of the base door.
- the wall oven has a lifting device with lifting elements which are connected to the bottom door.
- the lifting elements are designed as linkage levers, which are pivotally mounted on the one hand in the interior of the oven chamber on their inner walls and on the other hand on the mounting part for baking trays fastened to the base door.
- the linkage levers can be pivoted parallel to a plane of the side walls of the furnace chamber.
- One of the ends of the linkage levers mounted on the side walls of the furnace chamber is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to an actuating shaft.
- This actuating shaft protrudes through a side wall of the furnace chamber and can be driven by a drive motor arranged outside the furnace chamber.
- the drive motor When the drive motor is actuated, the linkage levers can thus be adjusted in a pivoting movement.
- the object of the invention is to further develop a high-level built-in cooking appliance in accordance with the preamble of claim 1 in such a way that its lifting device has improved operational reliability.
- the object is achieved by the combination of features specified in claim 1.
- the lifting device with its lifting elements is arranged in a closed cooking space outside the cooking space.
- the lifting elements of the lifting device are therefore neither exposed to a thermal load during cooking operation of the high-level built-in cooking appliance nor are the lifting elements contaminated by food to be cooked, as a result of which the operational safety of the lifting device is improved in a simple manner.
- only one food holder arrangement is provided within the closed cooking space.
- a sealing zone is formed between the closed base door and the base-side muffle and the lifting elements are connected to the base door outside of this sealing zone.
- the top side of the base door facing the cooking chamber is located opposite the muffle frame on the front side of the muffle.
- the base door can be actively pressed against the base-side muffle frame, for example by means of a drive motor, so that the closed cooking space can be thermally sealed even more effectively with respect to the lifting elements.
- This thermal seal between the closed cooking chamber and the lifting elements is reinforced by the fact that an O-ring-shaped seal is arranged between the top of the closed base door and the base-side muffle frame.
- the top of the floor door is covered with a heat-resistant plate with a low coefficient of thermal expansion. This prevents heat-related deformation or deflection of the plate, so that, when cooking with closed bottom door, the heat-resistant plate is sealed against the muffle frame on the bottom is.
- a stable and structurally simple design of the lifting elements is obtained if they are in the form of rigid L-shaped supports, each of which has a vertical leg which interacts with the lifting device and a horizontal leg which supports the base door.
- the horizontal legs of the L-shaped brackets engage in support sections of the floor door in the rear area of the built-in built-in cooking appliance.
- the lifting device is provided with a drive motor which is connected to the L-shaped supports.
- Figure 1 is a perspective view of a wall-mounted built-in cooking appliance with the bottom door lowered;
- Figure 2 is a perspective view of the built-in cooking appliance with the closed

- Figure 9 is a perspective view of a carrier part attached to the food support.
- FIG. 1 shows a high-level built-in cooking appliance with a housing 38.
- the rear of the housing 38 is mounted on a wall 35 in the manner of a wall cabinet.
- a cooking space 32 is defined in the housing 38 and can be checked via a viewing window 63 introduced into the front of the housing 38. 4 that the cooking space 32 is delimited by a muffle 21, which is provided with a heat-insulating jacket, not shown, and that the muffle 21 has a muffle opening 17 on the bottom.
- the muffle opening 17 can be closed with a base door 2, for example shown in FIGS. 1 or 2.
- the bottom door 2 is shown lowered, with its underside in contact with a worktop 36 of a kitchen device.
- the high built-in cooking appliance has a lifting device 3, 31 for adjusting the bottom door 2.
- the lifting device 3, 31 has a drive motor 31 shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 5 with dashed lines, which is arranged between the muffle 21 and an outer wall of the housing 38.
- the drive motor 31 is arranged in the region of the rear of the housing 38 and, as shown in FIG. 1 or 5, is operatively connected to one of a pair of lifting elements 3 which are connected to the base door 2.
- each lifting element 3 is designed as an L-shaped carrier.
- the vertical leg of the L-shaped support 3 extends from the housing-side drive motor 31 through frame openings 30 of a base-side muffle frame 25 and can be inserted in the vertical direction into the housing 38 or removed from the housing 38.
- the horizontal leg of the L-shaped support 3 engages in a support section 40 of the base door 2 in order to support the base door 2.
- Such a support section 40 is formed on each narrow side of the base door 2, as shown in FIG. 6.
- FIG. 6 shows a perspective view of a shaped plate of the base door 2 and a glass ceramic plate 8 to be mounted on the shaped plate.
- the drive motor 31 of the lifting device can be actuated with the aid of an operating knob of a control panel of a control device 34, which is arranged on the front of the bottom door 2 according to FIGS. 1 and 2.
- radiators 5, 6, 7, which is indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 1.
- the radiators 5, 6 are two spaced-apart, different size hotplate radiators, while the heater 7 is a surface heater provided between the two hotplate radiators 5, 6, the side portions 9 of which almost surround the hotplate radiators 5, 6.
- the radiators 5, 6, 7 are each assigned switching elements which can be controlled by the control device 34, as will be described later.
- the radiators 5, 6, 7 are designed as radiant heaters which are covered by the glass ceramic plate 8.
- the glass ceramic plate 8 shown in FIG. 6 disassembled from the base door 2 has approximately the dimensions of the top of the base door 2. At its rear corners, the glass ceramic plate 8 has two cutouts 26 on its outer peripheral edge, which can partially enclose the openings of the receptacles 40. Accordingly, the L-shaped supports 3 are connected to the base door 2 outside the glass ceramic plate 8. Furthermore, the glass ceramic plate 8 also has mounting openings 22, through which the base 50, described later, for holding a holding part 19 of a food support arrangement 19, 51 protrude.
- the top of the base door 2 is located on the face side of the base-side muffle frame 25.
- Glass ceramic plate 8 of the base door 2 is in a profile frame running on the circumference
- the radiant heaters 5, 6, 7 are arranged between the glass ceramic plate 8 and the underside of the shaped plate of the base door 2, an intermediate space 41 is formed, in which the radiant heaters 5, 6, 7 are arranged.
- the radiators 5, 6, 7 are all accommodated in a radiator housing 24, the peripheral edge 44 of which is connected to an underside of the glass ceramic plate 8.
- the radiant heaters 5, 6, 7 are on an insulating body
- the cooktop 10 occupied by the radiators 5, 6, 7 extends right up to the area of the inner wall of the muffle 21. A large area of the cooktop 10 on the upper side of the base door 2 is thereby achieved. Due to the low thermal conductivity of the glass ceramic plate 8, the temperature of the glass ceramic plate 8 drops rapidly outside the hob in the direction shown by x during hob operation. Excessively large heat dissipation in the glass ceramic plate in the x direction is thus avoided by the low thermal conductivity of the glass ceramic plate 8.
- a seal 20 is arranged between the glass ceramic plate 8 and the muffle frame 25.
- the seal 20 is suspended in a manner not shown in the muffle frame 25 and moves the muffle opening 17 like a frame.
- a sealing zone 18 is thus created between the base-side muffle frame 25, the seal 20 and the glass ceramic plate 8.
- the hob 10 is arranged within the sealing zone 18, while the edge region of the glass ceramic plate 8 already mentioned lies outside the sealing zone 18. The edge region of the glass ceramic plate 8 located outside the sealing zone 18 in the x direction is therefore extremely effectively thermally decoupled from the cooking chamber 32.
- This thermally decoupled edge region of the glass ceramic plate 8 heats up only slightly during operation of the high-level built-in cooking appliance when the base door 2 is closed, so that cooking material on the glass ceramic plate 8 can be avoided outside the sealing zone 18 and users are protected from high temperatures of the base door 2 can.
- the cleaning-critical edge area of the glass ceramic plate 8 is therefore easy to clean after cooking.
- the food support holding arrangement 19, 51 is held on the upper side of the base door 2 and is arranged inside the cooking space 32 when the base door 2 is closed.
- the food holder arrangement has the holding part 19 for hanging food holders 58 and an anchoring 51 on the bottom door.
- the holding part 19 consists of two hollow cylindrical support columns. In each of the support columns 19 are on the same Height free cuts are formed, in which, according to FIG. 8, the food support 58 is hooked.
- the support columns 19 are arranged in the rear area of the cooking space 32, specifically between the cooktop 10 and the sealing zone 18 indicated by dashed lines.
- each of the anchors 51 consists of a U-shaped sheet 52, one side of which is fastened to an inner wall of the base door.
- a hollow cylindrical bearing part 55 is inserted between the legs of each U-shaped sheet metal 52.
- Each longitudinal end of the bearing part 55 has a section 57 with a reduced diameter. These sections 57 are held in mutually opposite openings of the legs of each U-shaped sheet 52, as shown in FIG.
- a cylindrical base 50 is mounted in each hollow cylindrical bearing part and can be fixed in the bearing part 55 by means of a locking screw 59.
- each support column 19 is designed corresponding to the shape of the cylindrical base 50 in such a way that the support columns 19 can easily be plugged onto each of the bases 50 in a loose fit.
- the cylindrical wall of each support column also has a recess 61 which, when the support column 19 is fitted in the correct position on the base 50, receives a positioning pin 53 of the base 50 which is formed on the base.
- each base 50 In order to seal the mounting openings 22 of the glass ceramic plate 8 receiving the base 50, each base 50 according to FIG. 7 is formed with an annular flange at its central region. The outer diameter of the ring flange is larger than the diameter of the mounting opening 22, so that the ring flange of the base covers the mounting opening 22.
- An O-ring seal 56 is arranged between the ring flange 51 and the glass ceramic plate 8.
- the ring flange can exert a certain compressive force on the glass ceramic plate 8 via the O-ring seal 51, which rests on the shaped plate 52 of the anchor 51 serving as an abutment.
- the anchoring 51 is thus securely sealed off from the glass ceramic plate 8.
- each carrier part 64 has bearing projections 65, 66.
- the upper bearing projections 66 of the carrier parts 64 of the food carrier 58 shown in FIG. 9 are first inserted into the window-like free cuts and with an inner wall of the carrier column 19 brought into contact, while the lower bearing lugs 65 of the support parts 64 of the food support 58 shown in FIG. 9 are brought into contact with an outer wall of the support column. Due to the torque of the food carrier 58 exerted on the bearing lugs 65, 66, the bearing lugs 65, 66 remain in secure contact with the inner and outer walls of the carrier columns 19.
- the high-level built-in cooking appliance can be switched to a hotplate or a bottom heat operating mode, which are explained below.
- the hotplate heating elements 5, 6 can be individually controlled by means of control knobs which are provided in the control panel of the control device 34, while the flat heating element 7 remains out of operation.
- the hob mode can be carried out with the bottom door 2 lowered, as shown in FIG. 1. However, it can also be operated in an energy-saving function when the cooking chamber 32 is closed with the base door 2 raised.
- control device 34 not only controls the hotplate heating elements 5, 6 but also the surface heating element 7.
- an upper heat radiator provided on an upper side of the muffle 21 can be controlled by the control device 34.
- the hob 10 providing the bottom heat has a uniform distribution of the heating power output over the surface of the hob 10, although the radiators 5, 6, 7 have different nominal powers.
- the radiators 5, 6, 7 are therefore not switched to continuous operation by the control device 34, but rather are Power supply to the radiators 5, 6, 7 is clocked by means of the switching elements 11, 12, 13 controlled by the control device 34.
- the differently sized nominal heating outputs of the radiators 5, 6, 7 are individually reduced so that the radiators 5, 6, 7 provide a uniform distribution of the heating output over the surface of the hob 10.
- This sufficiently evenly distributed heat output can be set by the user by means of a further control knob of the control device 34 depending on the heating output requirement.
