Definitions

  • the invention relates to a sorting conveyor with a number of transport trolleys which have laterally tiltable storage trays for piece goods to be sorted.
  • Such a sorting conveyor is known from German patent DE 40 42 708 C2.
  • a sorting conveyor is described therein, which has a circumferential row of support units for laterally tiltable storage trays, which are moved past a storage station along a conveyor chassis and are loaded there with piece goods to be sorted.
  • the carrying units loaded with piece goods are then moved past a row of unloading or receiving stations in which the storage trays can be selectively tilted by means of actuating arms arranged on both sides in order to unload the piece goods to be sorted.
  • the carrying units are designed as transport carriages or units which have guide parts which engage in the conveying chassis at a greater distance from one another.
  • the transport carriages are provided with elongated drive parts which extend in the direction of advance of the carrying units and are designed to interact with linear motors which are fixed in fixed positions along the conveyor chassis.
  • the problem with the above-mentioned tilting conveyor is fundamentally the fact that the piece goods parts to be tipped can have very different sliding properties due to their external properties, which in particular with comparatively heavy and not particularly slip-resistant piece goods parts in a considerable mechanical stress on the guide link or even moving back Tray can lead to its basic position. In such a case, the result is a new one
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of specifying a sorting conveyor which can be equipped in a particularly needs-based manner and also carries out the sorting of comparatively heavy and not particularly slippery piece goods parts safely and reliably.
  • a sorting conveyor of the type mentioned at the outset in that a) the transport carriages have a support unit for the storage trays which can be pivoted about a tilting axis; b) a lever arm that can be steered into a backdrop and engages on the support unit is provided; c) the transport carriages comprise a base module receiving the carrying unit; and d) the base module has guide means for the tilting movement of the supporting unit and a lifting movement of the lever arm which triggers the tilting movement.
  • the tilting device engages directly on the carrying unit, so that different storage trays can be used and the storage trays can be exchanged easily. Furthermore, the pressure of the part of the piece of goods acting according to gravity will be absorbed particularly well in the transport carriage, because the lever arm is guided in the base module provided with the guides and is also held therein.
  • a particularly simple construction of the transport trolleys is achieved with the creation of the basic module. For example, a two-part basic module is conceivable, which consists of two halves that are mirror-inverted to each other, which have guideways in the form of cavities designed as guide means, and thus also restrict the mobility of the carrying unit and the lever arms in each case in a two-dimensional plane. Different tilt angles can easily can be achieved by choosing an appropriate basic module.
  • lever arm can be guided in a two-dimensionally extending backdrop, because the lever arm only has to perform a linear movement essentially vertically upwards or downwards and tilted in the base module for this purpose is.
  • lever arm acts on the support unit on a sliding fit without bearing, as a result of which an additional bearing and its assembly are not required.
  • a low overall depth of the sorting conveyor is achieved if the storage trays can be tilted on both sides and two mutually independently movable lever arms are provided which engage on the support unit on a sliding fit. In this way, only one of the two lever arms is used for tilting moved up or down, the support unit gliding past the other non-activated lever arm.
  • This embodiment variant has a particularly favorable effect when the lever arm is actively pushing upward, because the other lever arm is not correspondingly pressed downward and therefore there is no space requirement for this lever arm, which is otherwise always passively moved in the prior art.
  • a particular advantage of this construction is that a maximum tilt angle of the support unit can be predetermined by an appropriate design of the guide means. In this way, different tilt angles can be implemented in a simple manner by means of correspondingly different base modules, as a result of which the lever arms and the support unit as such can remain unchanged.
  • lever arm has projecting cup-shaped cams and is guided by means of these cams in a substantially vertical guideway, the base and end positions being realized by a receptacle branching off the side of the guideway is.
  • a feature which increases the operational safety immensely provides, in an embodiment of the invention, that a lever arm tilting the support unit pivots the support unit at the start of the unlocking movement in such a way that an unlocking movement of the other lever arm is blocked.
  • Another particularly reliable system is achieved if an addition to the above-mentioned feature is provided in such a way that the lever arms can be controlled into the link by means of a control element which can be guided in the control position, the control elements - viewed in the conveying direction - being arranged slightly offset from one another.
  • a faulty control attempt both control elements in the control position only destroys the following control element in the conveying direction. Damage to the trolley and / or to the scenery can be avoided in this way.
  • This means that the entire sorting conveyor can continue to be operated except for a destination that can then no longer be operated or can only be operated on one side, thereby contributing to a high availability of the sorting conveyor.
  • An alternative to the above-described embodiment provides for a two-part construction of the lever arm with an enveloping body and a deflecting lever, the enveloping body engaging on the sliding unit on a sliding fit and essentially being movable only in the stroke direction, and the deflecting lever being arranged essentially parallel in the enveloping body and is connected in an articulated manner to the enveloping body with its upper end facing the carrying unit and can be driven into the scenery with its opposite lower end. In this way, only a one-dimensional movement of the lever arm is ensured in the base module.
  • a particularly preferred embodiment of the tilting mechanism then consists in that a tilting and locking movement of the storage tray is achieved in that the lower end of the deflection lever for releasing the locked basic position within the dimensions of the enveloping body in a first pivoting direction, i.e. oriented in a direction substantially perpendicular to the stroke direction, is pivotable, is movable in the stroke direction to achieve the tilting movement and is pivotable for locking the tilted end position in a second pivoting direction, which is oriented antiparallel to the first pivoting direction.
