Definitions
- the invention relates to a centrifugal wear unit for a centrifugal mill, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such wear units are known for example from the brochure "BHS rotor mills".
- the material to be ground is introduced centrally into a rotor rotating about a substantially vertical axis.
- this rotor it is distributed centrifugally due to a plurality of centrifugal chambers, each of which is delimited by a centrifugal blade.
- a material bed of ground material is formed, which protects the blade wall from wear.
- the baffle can be formed by a plurality of wear-resistant baffle plates or a material bed of comminuted material to be ground.
- the centrifugal edge which forms the radially outer end of the blade wall as can be easily seen from the above explanation of the physical processes in the spinning mill rotor, exposed to heavy wear by abrasion, since the ground material at the wear edge substantially tangential to the surface of the the wear edge forming element moves along.
- the element forming the wear edge is also exposed to a load due to regrind rebounding from the impact wall.
- the movement of these rebounding regrind particles has a significant component which is orthogonal to the claimed by these particles surface of the Slip edge element is directed. This is therefore more of a impact load.
- the conventional spin edge wear units such as those of FIG DE 19534033A1 known a hard metal part, which forms both the centrifugal edge and the rebound wear protection is used.
- This hard metal part is soldered or glued to a non-hardened metal part, which serves for fastening the wear unit to the Schteuderwand the respective centrifugal blade of the rotor.
- a wear unit is known whose hard metal part is shown together with the base body as a composite cast element. Although the hard metal part forms an effective abrasion protection, but is due to its brittleness only to a much lesser extent suitable as rebound protection and wears relatively quickly.
- openings can be introduced in a simple manner, for example by drilling, by means of which the slinger edge wear unit can be attached to the spinning blade, for example by means of bolts.
- an internal thread can also be cut into an opening or bore thus introduced into the soft-cast region become.
- Bolt ends co-operating nut possible.
- the chilled casting area of the composite cast element which is exposed radially outward in the assembled state constitutes an effective rebound protection against the material material moving back radially inwards from the impact wall. Due to the fact that the chilled casting area is more elastic and not as brittle as it is despite its hardness conventional hard-metal element used as a rebound protection, it can better withstand the impact load from the rebounding regrind.
- the inventive spin edge wear unit comprises a wear element separately manufactured from the composite cast element, which has the actual spin edge of the wear unit.
- This wear element can be, for example, a hard metal part, so that it is ensured that the wear element according to the invention has the same abrasion resistance as could be achieved with the use of the conventional centrifugal edge wear unit.
- the recess can be subsequently incorporated into a soft casting region of the composite casting element.
- This subsequent incorporation can be done for example by milling or erosion, which poses no problems as a machining process, since only soft casting material needs to be processed.
- the recess can also be arranged at least partially in a chilled casting region of the composite casting element.
- the latter variant has the additional advantage that can be dispensed with the additional step of milling or eroding the recess.
- the milling or erosion of the recess has However, the advantage that the training more precise, that can be designed according to tighter manufacturing tolerances.
- the wear element can be clamped in the recess and / or glued.
- the recess can be expanded firstly thermic and then cooled after insertion of the wear element again, whereupon it contracts and with appropriate dimensioning of recess or wear element holds the wear element safely.
- gluing the wear element in the recess dimensional deviations between recess and wear element can be compensated in a simple manner. In this case, it is merely necessary to ensure that an adhesive is used which, on the one hand, reliably holds the wear element in the recess, so that it can not be pulled out of the recess due to the frictional stress and, on the other hand, so elastically is that it does not break with the load fluctuations occurring during operation of the spin mill.
- a plurality of wear elements can be used in one and the same recess.
- the spinning edge wear units of centrifugal mills with different rotor height can be made in this case in a simple manner by equipping with a different number of wear elements.
- the composite casting element comprises a main portion in which the recess is provided for the at least one wear element, as well as a lateral approach, which is designed for attachment to the centrifugal mill. It is to avoid the formation of cracks in the transition region between the main portion and the approach advantageous when the approach Made of soft casting material and connected to a soft casting area of the main section.
- a sling edge wear unit according to the invention is generally designated 10.
- the wear unit 10 is attached to the radially outer end of a centrifugal blade 14 of the rotor 12 of the centrifugal mill.
- a material bed 16 of ground material In the direction of rotation R in front of the centrifugal blade 14 is formed during operation of the centrifugal mill 12, a material bed 16 of ground material, along the surface of which 1 6a Mahlgut particles 18 are accelerated towards the centrifugal edge 20 out.
- the regrind particles 18 After the regrind particles 18 have moved past the centrifugal edge 20, ie after the regrind particles 18 have escaped from the rotor of the centrifugal mill 12, they move in free flight to an in Fig. 1 baffle wall, not shown, at which the main crushing takes place.
- At least part of the comminuted fragments 22 comminuted by the baffle wall again move radially inwards and strike against the radially outwardly exposed surface 24 of the wear unit 10.
- the wear unit 10 comprises a composite casting element 26 with a soft casting region 28 and a chilled casting region 30 as the main body.
- the chilled casting region 30 is in the radial outward direction exposed surface 24 adjacent portion of composite casting element 26 educated. It forms the impact protection against rebounding regrind fragments 22.
- a recess 32 is incorporated into the soft casting region 28, either by subsequent processing of the soft casting section 28, for example by means of milling or erosion, or by inserting a corresponding core into the casting mold for producing the composite casting element 26.
- a cemented carbide Ledge 34 is used, on which the tear-off edge 20 is formed, or whose end protruding from the recess 32 forms the centrifugal edge 20.
- serving as a wear element bar 34 is formed of hard metal and therefore particularly resistant to frictional stress.
- an elongate projection 38 which is preferably made of soft casting material, is laterally formed on the relatively voluminous main section 36 of the wear unit in which both the chilled casting area 30 and the recess 32 are formed for the wear strip 34 is and in the soft casting region 28 of the composite casting element 26 passes.
- the latter prevents the formation of cracks in the transition region 40 during operation of the spin mill 12.
- a through hole 42 is introduced, which is also provided in the illustrated embodiment with an internal thread 44. This threaded hole 42/44 is used to attach the wear unit 10 to the blade wall 14 by means of a bolt 46th
