- Automatic sheet-bending machine intended to form bends at given angles in a metal sheet (1) being processed, comprising a bending mechanism made up of a blade holder (2) positioned facing a device for immobilizing the metal sheet (1) that are to be bent, the blade holder (2) being incorporated into a translation device which moves it towards the device for immobilizing the metal sheet (1) and into an articulated tilting device which both allow it to bend the metal sheets (1), characterized in that the blade holder (2) is equipped with a sensor (9) positioned on an actuator (10) intended to bring it into contact with the bent metal sheet (1), the sheet-bending machine being designed to bring the sensor into a first measuring position in contact with the bent metal sheet by means of the actuator (10) and then to bring the sensor (9) into a second measuring position in contact with the end region of the bent part of the sheet by means of the tilting device of the blade holder, in order to measure the angle of the bend.
- Automatic sheet-bending machine entirely in accordance with the first claim, characterized in that the device for immobilizing the sheet (1) comprises a fixed lower part (3) and an upper blank holder (5) which moves vertically against the fixed lower part (3) in such a way that the sheets (1) that are to be bent are immobilized between the two.
- Automatic sheet-bending machine entirely in accordance with the first and second claims, characterized in that the blank holder (5) is made up of two end blocks and one central block, it being possible for the central block to be replaced with blocks of different lengths in order to adjust the longitudinal dimension of the blank holder (5) to suit the width of the sheet (1) being processed.
- Automatic sheet-bending machine entirely in accordance with the first three claims, characterized in that the blade holder (2) is equipped with a carriage (13) which allows the central block of the blank holder (5) to be replaced automatically, the said carriage conveying the block that is to be changed as far as a storage magazine and bringing back from the same magazine another block of appropriate length for incorporation into the blank holder (5).
- Automatic sheet-bending machine entirely in accordance with the first four claims, characterized in that the carriage (13) for changing the central block of the blank holder (5) is associated with a drive actuator (14) independent of or associated with the actuator (10) specific to the sensor (9) so that the actuator (10) also drives the aforementioned carriage (13).
- Automatic sheet-bending machine entirely in accordance with the first claim, characterized in that the blade holder (2) is articulated to a carriage (6) driven by an actuator (7), the blade holder (2) furthermore being connected to a second actuator (8) which causes it to tilt.
